Regal 1175

I simply adore this place, why it took me so long to treat myself to this pearl is beyond me. It feels kind like you’re at a friend’s house and super cozy. The zero gravity chairs are so dang comfortable I was afraid I might fall asleep.

This place was great. We went here for the first time on Saturday for an 11:30 am movie, and we were literally the only ones in the theatre (ok, there were 2 other people with us). We were able to purchase the tickets online, and we had no line at the ticket counter. We had 2 people in font of us to get our snacks… oh, the horror, we had to actually wait in a line.
The only reason I did not give a 5 was the fact we got the 1^st floor theatre, and we had to go upstairs to go to the restrooms during the movie. Had we been in a theatre on the upper level we would have had a perfect experience… highly recommend.

Amazing! This cinema has an amazing sound system. Nice, comfortable chairs — very important to enjoy your movie. We were able to get some very good center seating and the quality of the film was super great. My brother purchased some popcorn, a giant pretzel, and a large drink.
The girl at the front was cool and friendly. The restrooms were clean and well maintained. The prices are the same as other movie theatres.

Low key friendly place, not crowded with teenagers. Definitely a place to see a movie being an adult sans children :)
I parked a few blocks away… and it’s nice to walk in Gaslamp.

I came to Regal 1175 in San Diego last week. We went and saw the movie «Gravity» starring Sandra Bullock. As you enter the theatre, a large escalator greets you as you rise up to the top floor, You turn behind you and see grand, purple painted walls. The theatre itself is very large and there are arcade games to play. They have a nice concession stand too. Although I only got a drink, the popcorn probably tasted great.
The actual room where you watch the movie itself is impressive. Extremely clean, and there are leather headrests on the seats. The atmosphere does not feel stuffy, and dirty like most movie theaters. I really enjoyed Regal 1175, and wish the theaters back home were just this good.
However, the prices are the same as any movie theatre.
