I have avoided going to the dentist for 2 years. My former dentist moved offices and I made endless excuses to not go to the dentist.
I am more than grateful for my dental experience today. From the minute I walked in I was greeted by staff who knew I was nervous and met my energy with calmness and reassurance. Dr. Ghandehari was encouraging and upbeat! The hygienist literally «sealed» the deal for my loyalty and commitment to being a better patient. I can’t say I am looking forward to having my cavities filled on Monday — but I can say, I am not super worried. Thank you doesn’t seem to be enough but kudos to the entire super-​amazing staff,

I always feel confident that I am getting the best dental service when I visit this dental practice. I feel relaxed and comfortable and my teeth say thank you. Difficult to obtain accurate information post-​treatment regarding billing issues. Inaccurate explanations are provided with resolutions proposed by the admin staff, then changed, then withdrawn, until finally the doctor provides an accurate response. Time consuming and very frustrating experience.
Slow to provide the required evidence of medical necessity to the insurance company, which can be provided by email. This draws out the claim process, leaving the question of insurance coverage hanging open.
We were clients of Rancho Bernardo Dental Arts for 20 years and had no billing problems until this doctor, Ghandehari, and his staff took over the business of our prior dentist and his staff. I visit a different dental office where the admin process is handled promptly, efficiently and professionally, so I’m confused as to why this situation is so different.
Two stars for finally being provided the explanatIon I requested several days ago. But, we’re still left frustrated at all the time and energy I’ve wasted trying to get a professional response, and for the unresolved claim question of medical necessity and the resulting overhang of a possible future bill.

I had my first visit to Rancho Bernardo Dental Arts today. My experience was fantastic. The front office staff was very inviting. It was a very friendly atmosphere. Dr. Ghandehari took the time to talk to me and explain all of the aspects of the visit to me, he even educated me on things that I have never heard from previous dentists. His assistants we very friendly and helpful. I also had my teeth cleaned by Linda, she did a great job on my cleaning. This is best experience I have had in a dental office in a long time.
I would like to say thank you to Dr Ghandehari and his wonderful team.

We saw two other dentists in the immediate area before settling on Dr. Ghandehari. Not only do my wife and I see Dr. G, but our 3 kids do as well. And so does my mother-​in-​law, despite living in Los Angeles (in the Valley). Having received questionable care from her LA dentist, she drove down just to see Dr G and was thrilled with the service.
What do we like about Dr. Ghandehari?
1) The waiting room is never too crowded and there are enough receptionists so that the wait is never long.
2) Good dentistry! I haven’t had any issues yet, nor have I needed a follow-​up for the dentist to correct previous mistakes (again, unlike my previous dentist)
3) Dr. Ghandehari exudes laid back and trustworthy.
4) They’re not running a high-​volume factory like several other dental offices in town. They just provide quality dentistry.

Dr. G did an inlay for me that was just perfect! Color shade was right on! And gave me all opts for my lower tooth. Overall one of the best dentist I have had work on me. Staff are all sooo awesome!

Dr. Ghandehari has made a couple Cerec crowns that I am extremely happy with! Only one visit and they were made while I waited and blended in remarkably — No 2 trips to the dentist and no black gums from metal based crowns!!! He and his staff are honest, friendly, and talented. My 7 year old actually enjoys going to him.
