Hi this is expensive food first of all it’s an airport second of all I wanted beings they only have one type of beans which is black I want to Pinto so they’re like to give you a choice but really don’t only one type of beans the rest the breed it was fair again the same breeder and get outside the airport for for five bucks inside airport I’m paying 11 bucks so to be an expensive I guess it’s OK that’s why give him three stars. Oh and the water cost $ 3.50 again kind of pricey. Tim

Local — Omg this place blows. Usually chains restaurants are decent especially in airports but everything was bad about this place. Veggie burrito *** 1⁄5 *** Terrible. I rarely give bad reviews but every ingredient in this«make your own burrito» was tasteless. The beans, rice, veggies, pico de gallo and guacamole were all bland. Environment — *** 0⁄5 *** is that possible? The staff was rude to me(all 3 of them) and they seemed annoyed by me before I even walked up the counter. I’d rather eat crackers from United then eat here again.

Qdoba is just alright. It’s nice that terminal 2 has a fast food Mexican option but the quality is definitely not great and just left me wanting chipotle! Even though it’s not on their menu, they have bowls like chipotle. I tried a chicken bowl and the chicken was not as good as chipotle and the guacamole had no flavor. The cheese was also pretty dry and flavorless. It was also just as expensive but not justifiable given the quality.

Bad Mexican food. Overpriced. And staffs with horrible attitude. We came here for a quick bite before our flight. The staffs need to get their acts together. It’s not that hard to make 4 burritos in a row. So stop with the nasty attitude. The beef was dry and not seasoned well and even tho the burrito was big and filling, it was definitely overpriced. Chipotle is way better…

Not quite as authentic as I am used to for SD. Pork nachos were pretty tasty(and good enough for 2 ppl) steak tacos not so much(processed steak? I don’t know). It’s ok to hold you over. Not really worth the price, but it is an airport afterall.

First time that I had qdoba but probably the last. This place is very similar to chipotle but just not as good. Burrito comes wrapped in tin foil and the process is the same on ordering.

I’m a big fan of Chipotle Mexican grill, I could eat there at least once a week and a lot of people seem to associate Qdoba with the quality of Chipotle. However in my opinion it doesn’t even come close to Chipotle’s standards. Qdoba is a huge chain elsewhere in the country but only has one location for San Diego and that’s inside the new part of Terminal 2 West in the airport. I’ve heard from several San Diego transplants about Qdoba grill and how much they like it. I don’t really understand the liking of the place. We can’t get into how overpriced the place is, because it’s in an airport(that TSA security line separates you from the rest of the world). You queue up in line and tell the people what kind of items you want(burrito, tacos, quesadilla, etc) except that«bowl» isn’t on the menu and that’s what I wanted. They were more than happy to make me a bowl but charge me the price of a burrito(not really fair in my opinion, oh well). They have two types of rice, black beans only, several sauces, lettuce, «veggies», sour cream, cheese and fake guacamole. I call it fake guacamole because it seemed runnier than the real stuff and lacked seasoning. The whole thing ended up costing me more than 10 bucks. I ended up with a chicken bowl with beans, rice, veggies, lettuce and guac( ). The bowl was very small compared to something you’d get at Chipotle and they were really skimpy on the chicken. Chicken was marinated pretty well and tasted good though. Beans and rice were cooked well with plenty of seasoning added. The guacamole like I said previously was a huge disappointment. Also, somehow a piece of corn got into my bowl despite me not asking for it. I am from southern California and we do not put pieces of CORN in any of our Mexican food because we are not backwards Texans/Zonies. Even though the bowl was relatively small, it did fill me up before my flight outta there. There is a lot of selection inside the new airport terminal 2 area, Qdoba seemed more decent than the other selections in my opinion. However you may want to weigh out your opinions, especially if you’re gonna be on a long travel(my in air flight times were 16+ hours). I really hate airplane food.

Ok so here’s the deal. I’ve been to this location several times and there always seems to be a negative issue. Tonight I was here at 8:50pm and they close at 9:30pm today. So they were out of chicken, veggies, white rice, tortilla chips and salsa. These are like the main ingredients to most of their meals. They seriously have to plan better. There was still 40 mins left before closing. I give two stars cause the food is not that bad, but they can’t roll a burrito to save their life. It always breaks, like today’s. They had to give me a bowl to eat it cause it was about to bust. Also the customer service isn’t the greatest. They should be friendlier and have a lil more pep in their step, especially when people are in a hurry to catch their flights. Additionally, there seems to always be some confusion when making the orders. I seriously think they should have a refresher class in operating the business.

This was the absolute worst experience I’ve had at a Qdoba. We were the only people in line and the woman helping us today was rude, dismissive and unpleasant. We asked for a veggie burrito and the woman put rice and beans and then said«is that it?».?? I asked what comes in a veggie burrito having not been to a Qdoba in two years and she said«whatever you want.». We asked for some cheese and she said«is that it???». For being the only ones in line we were shocked at her attitude when we had been nothing but friendly. It should be said that she was sniffling the whole time she was making the burrito, which was absolutely disgusting. We paid for the burrito took a bite and threw it away. We bought a pizza from the place in the same area and it was great! Skip Qdoba and go to any other place at the SAN airport!

Terrible service. When we arrived, there were three or four people in front of us. Service was moving at a snail’s pace, but we waited. When we reached the beginning of the line, my sister ordered a cheese quesadilla. The young man helping her started to ask what she wanted on it, but then refused service to her while holding her unmade food in front of her. He informed us that they had closed while we were waiting in line, although he’d started to take her order. My boyfriend pressed a little more since we had been waiting in line — and for a while –when they closed and there was still food in front of us. He agreed to make him tacos, but when he bit into his first taco — just seconds after paying — everything including the chicken was cold. All in all, we were left feeling extremely shafted and insulted.

I’ve been to many Qdoba locations around the country. I’ve generally found them to be prompt in they’re service. At the one near where I work, I can look at the line and tell exactly how much time it will take because they crank out 1 customer every 30 seconds like clockwork. Not here. This is the slowest, most inefficient, and dirtiest Qdoba I’ve been to. There wasn’t much of a line — maybe three people in front of me, but they were so unfocused and inefficient in their execution of operations behind the counter it was pathetic. The phrase«scatter-brained» comes to mind. With so few people in front of me in line, I was dumbfounded how long it took to get my food. If you’re in a hurry to catch a flight, DON’T stop here!

This is just so cruel that Qdoba is located in the airport, and I can only get it if I am through security! But I do have to say it was a glorious day when I actually flew out of the correct terminal and was able to get a Qdoba breakfast bowl literally LOADED with queso just like I used to do in highschool in the midwest. My breakfast bowl was excellent as I ordered it with eggs, potatoes, rice, beans, lettuce, cheese, guacamole, and extra extra queso… I don’t think it’s possible to have too much of Qdoba’s queso. This location is in a newer section of the airport with plenty of other good spots around it to eat, but I will obviously choose Qdoba over the rest of the offerings any day :) When it’s not breakfast time, I love getting a plain old cheese and tomato quesadilla with guacamole and sour cream on the side. Also, you can never go wrong with a side of chips and queso. All of the ingredients were very fresh when I dined at this location. I just truly wish that Qdoba would open another location in San Diego so I could have the heavenly queso dip whenever I want.

One of the best bargains for quick pre-flight breakfast($ 3.85 for egg potato burrito), and reasonably healthy depending on your order(just 320 calories for egg & potato burrito). But honestly, just not that great. Used to enjoy the La Salsa breakfast burritos and taco salads for quick Mexican fast food, but to me, this just wasn’t as good.

I had a Chorizo breakfast burrito here one morning before boarding my flight to Washington Dulles. The burrito included eggs, cheese, chorizo, some vegetables, salsa, and I had them add some Guacamole — for which there is an extra charge. Burrito was yummy and excellent!

A healthy Mexican spot in the food court of San Diego airport — food is delicious, healthy and super fresh! Portions are generous. Highly recommend! — Chicken taco salad — highly recommend! Bowl is crispy, chicken was tender, vegetables were super fresh. — Steak soft tacos. My bf said they were amazing — Nachos. Crispy and crunchy! If you like Chipotle, you’ll love this place!

I had a large breakfast egg & potato quesadilla here. It was basic, but quite flavorful, and the portion size was huge. It came with pico-de-gallo, sour cream and salsa. I got the hot salsa, and I can confirm that it is pleasantly spicy and it tasted pretty fresh. They also have bottles of hot sauce available if you need more picante goodness. If you’re dining-in, the tables are in a large, open area with tons of natural light overlooking the runways. I probably wouldn’t dine here if I wasn’t at an airport with very few breakfast options, but for airport fast-food, it’s really not bad at all. Certainly, infinitely better than Starbucks’ packaged offerings just a few yards down the concourse. 3-star review, but they deserve an extra star for being at an airport and offering good value despite having no real competition. Kudos.
