Pole Sinsations

I went here as a surprise for my bachelorette party last month. To be honest, my group was a little awkward; Most of the girls were my really good friends with me, but were meeting each other for the first time… so no one was comfortable enough (aka too sober) to really put themselves out there. However, our instructor felt the awkwardness and really tried to help pull ourselves out of our heads and have fun with it. That’s also when I realized that most of my girls are not umm… coordinated… But in the end, we all got out of our shell, laughed at ourselves, had a great time and did a fun chair routine. It really takes a lot of skills to get a group of awkward girls comfortable enough to be «sexy» but she did it! She also didn’t force anyone who didn’t want to attempt something to do it; everyone participated, so it was great. Also, we were late for our appointment, but she gave us her full attention nonetheless. I highly recommend this place!

I take classes here from Elise, who is amazing. I’ve seen my skill set improve since working with her. I highly recommend checking her classes out.

I cannot even describe what a FUN, INTENSE, EXCITING. I absolutely adored my instructor for my first class! Michelle was funny energetic and she taught a fun sexy routine that was perfect for a beginner! I have never take pole and I was very nervous even though I have a background in dance. I had such a great time and will definitely be a regular now! The prices are great and they even do heel rentals if you don’t want to invest in your own pair. I had a great experience and I have recommended to all of my friends. Its definitely a must try, there prices are great and their staff is amazing!

I discovered the studio through a Groupon, due to their great deal compared with the regular prices of their classes. I would come back here if they ever have a sale because I am dead beat broke…
This is the 2^nd pole studio that I’ve ever visited. I found myself really taking a liking to it, especially the Beg/​Int Pole Choreo class — I’ve yet to try out the Pole Fit class, but I guess I’ll see! I’ve taken Carmen, Nadine, Tatsyana, and Lizzy. I would say Carmen and Tatsyana are my favorites. Though I think a few instructors can improve the quality of their warm-​ups and emphasize the importance of stretching after class, because sometimes we have too much fun that we only have 2 minutes to cool down…
Since I’ve had some pole experience before, I think it was a little easier to adjust to the teaching style here. It isn’t as structured and the instructors will teach whatever they feel like, as well as gauging the level of the students. Because of this «open format,» I learned A LOT more moves and transitions than I did at LLH (a highly structured pole studio), and it really challenged me to see what I could actually do with the amount of strength I gained over the last year.

Great place to have a fun workout. Really workouts out your core muscles. Carmen is a great instructor. She really breaks things down to a level where a beginner can do some hard moves. Love this class.

I bought their groupon deal just for the sake of trying another pole studio. I wasn’t a fan of the first class I took, perhaps because I was also going to another studio so inevitably, I compared and had expectations. I didn’t like the size of their pole since it’s a lot thicker, until I realized it works a lot better for me. I have skinny legs and it takes less energy for me to grip the pole.
Let me tell ya, the more classes I went to, the more I liked the instructors and the studio itself. They are absolutely awesome! I will recommend this to anyone who lives in downtown San Diego. It’s walking distance from me so it’s even more amazing. I am not sure if they still have the deal on groupon but if they do, take advantage! They are so worth it!

I love this place! All the instructors are in excellent shape and they motivate me to do some really challenging poses. I really like Pole Sinsations and I don’t have any preference in INSTRUCTORS because all of them ARE EXCELLENT! Another plus is the height of the pole. I like it when they use neon lights… very sexy. This type of exercise has helped me to have more self confidence.
Me encanta este lugar. Las Instructoras están en excelente condición física y te motivan hacer las poses poco a poco. Me encanta por el Pole es alto. También tienen coreografías y luces de neon. I LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE. No tengo ni una favorita. Todas son EXCELENTES!

I love the studio. It’s right next to a derby rink, so it’s all a bunch of bad girls hanging out with other bad girls. The only thing I dislike is Carmen only teaches one class a week, and shes my favorite instructor. She has the patience of an angel and she really motivates you to do your best.
