I just left the place and I am still disgusted by the service I received. My husband and I went for a couples massage which we do it often at this place and was never this bad. This time they had a male therapist without even ask us if we prefer male or female they just decided the male was going to massage me. Well, to get worse, he did not respect my bagging for him to use less force and was also very annoyed and keep sighing when I asked for the freaking 100th tone to use less pressure. Their English is almost zero! Not to mention his heavy breathing on me, like a smoker breathing(disgusting. When we were done; thank God, I never felt so much pain in a massage before we were still changing when both therapists for into the room. To rush is to leave. We gave which one of them a $ 10 dollars tip; the massage was $ 70 for both; so they got more then 20% each. The guys that massage me doesn’t even say thank you nor looked a your faces; rushing outside to smoke his cigaret. Well they loss a customer. We will never for back to this nasty place.

Worst massage ever. It was painful, dirty, I didn’t get the amount of time I paid for, he never massaged my feet, and apparently a $ 7 tip on a horrific $ 40 massage is not enough.

Been here a few times and referred business to them since Ive always been pleased. But today, my boyfriend and I were forced, to tip $ 10 each on a $ 35 massage. $ 10 is not the issue, it’s the fact that gratuity is supposed to be the customers choice. If you want to make it Mandatory, you should add that to the price and not call it a tip. No one understood what I was saying. I do know, I was once loyal, but now will most likely never be back.

My good friend who is a school teacher has been raving about this place for a long time, and I finally had the chance to give it a try. I gave my mom a gift certificate here over a year ago for her birthday, and she came and used it with me. Overall, we both had a really great and relaxing one-hour massage for $ 20 +($ 5) tip; can’t beat that. Had a hard time understanding their names, but I think the name of my therapist guy was Alren, and my mom had Helen. My shoulders, back and arms were really sore from working at my desk too much and working out(can’t lie — not too much, but enough to make me sore). And this massage was just what I needed. I have to say, compared to other foot massages I’ve had, it was a lot less full body massage than I usually get; it was mostly a foot massage. Although, when you book a foot massage, it doesn’t seem right to complain that you got a foot massage, so I’ll hush my mouth on that. There was still a brief massage of scalp, shoulders, arms, hands, legs, back and neck, which were all really good. Why not 5 stars? Well, we had appointments for 4 pm, and they called and asked if we could move it to 5 pm bcse of an emergency w/one of their therapists. That’s no problem. But when we showed up, she(1) tried to up-sell us to the $ 30 full body massage — read about that in prevoius reviews and declined; and(2) gave us a bit of a hard time about not using the gift certificate earlier, but I reminded her I paid full price cash in advance for it, so, of course, she said no problem. Also, although the room we had was more private than some foot massage places(just the 2 of us in a room that held max of 3), there was a big school-like clock that loudly and distractingly clicked each passing second, until I finally managed to tune it out. But all in all, really enjoyed it, and would definitely return.

I wish there was a way to give negative stars! I would give as many negative stars as possible. I visited this faciility on 10/16/2012 and placed my digital, in-the-canal hearing aids on the table in the massage room. As a regular consumer of massage, it is customary to offer a small space for placing items like jewelry, etc and so I trusted that my hearing devices would be safe. However, when I arose from the massage, they were gone! I remembered clearly that I had placed them on this table but when I confronted the manager* about the disappearance of my valuables, she insisted that I look through the whole facility several times, proclaiming that she did not want to be liable. She forced me to pat down the massage therapist, who unfortunately, was rather good. *The manager of the facility acted as if she did not speak English and had me communicate with a younger woman who was receiving services but appeared to also be an employee however, her English was good enough to accurately use the word ‘liabiliity’ in a clearly and correctly composed sentence. I left the facility without my hearing aids and had to file an insurance claim with a $ 500 deductible. Not exactly the stress-reliever I was looking for as I went into the facility. I wrote the company a letter requesting reimbursement and never received any response. However, I did pay in advance and they did not charge my card the tip, only the fee for the massage. I plan to take them to small claims court. Again, the massage I received was wonderful and it is unfortunate that they are either theives or do not take responsibility for their mistakes. If you do visit here, I would leave all of your valuables in your vehicle or at home. Lesson learned the HARD and EXPENSIVE way! Here I come BBB and Small Claims Court!

I went in today for a $ 20 foot massage. They talked me into the package for ½ hour body massage/½ foot massage for $ 30. Ben worked on me. It was awful, awful, awful! I didn’t expect a $ 75 massage by any means, but it was bad. First and foremost, he massaged on the bone and you NEVER massage on the bone, EVER! I’ve had a million massages, great ones, so I have s/thing to compare it to. Second, his movements were very fast and not relaxing. I left there over an hour ago and my vision is still screwed up, blurry, not sure why. I’m a woman and he exposed my behind, which I was not thrilled about and not sure why he did that but I finally pulled the sheet up but he pulled it down again too low for my comfort. On the foot massage, you could tell he knew reflexology, but again, the pressure was too much and on the bone. His hands were also rough, the skin that is, so that felt awful. 100% bad. When I left I gave a $ 2 tip,(I’m normally a very generous tipper, overly generous, but honestly, he didn’t deserve the $ 2 I was giving). He stormed out of the room and the girl at the desk said I HAD to leave $ 5 – 10 in a tip! The English was bad so I sucked it up, gave her $ 5 and walked out. Is that even legal to ask for more of a tip??? I had the feeling they weren’t going to let me out of the room w/o it, so I did it, which I still feel ripped off because he wouldn’t give the $ 2 back. Trust me, I’m not a cheapskate. He just sucked that bad. The tip incident added insult to injury! I would leave NOSTARS, but Unilocal makes me leave at least one…

It was an okay massage. I’ve had better. Also they are kind of stingy about the tip. Beware.

3.5 stars. Not the best foot massage in SD but not the worst. As with other Chinese foot massage places, it is $ 19.99 cash only, with limited English speaking, not a lot of privacy and a little noisy. This place actually took reservations with my name and phone so kudos for that(whereas most massage places do not want to know who you are). Lisa, the manager/owner was very nice. She even called to remind me of the appointment which I give praise. My disapppointment was that the woman who worked on me was not strong enough; her touch was way too gentle and I told her repeatedly that I wanted her to apply deeper, harder pressure. Overall, you can’t go wrong for $ 19.99.

Really good deal. This place is new, clean, and you really get your money’s worth. They have a deal going on now, and I got a foot massage(30 minutes) and body massage(30 minutes) for $ 30. Quality was pretty good. I will likely be back.

This place ROCKS! I am a fan of Green Bamboo, Downtown, but parking is terrible. So I started looking elsewhere for a great foot massage place in Point Loma with parking. I found it! I walked right in with no hassle. An hour foot massage is $ 20 and a full body massage is $ 40. The premises is clean, cool with nice music. With the front door open, you can hear the traffic but otherwise very quiet. I recommend Ben. His reflexology technique was great and when I walked out, I felt like I could walk on air.
