Ordered a standard cheese pizza via delivery while at the hospital recently.
Must say I was really disappointed in the taste of this one. Two stars is generous.
Pizza Hut in general is great but this one… Not so much.

Pizza Hut pizza is awesome mediocre pizza. This review is less about the pizza and more about the customer service.
I ordered two medium pizzas online for takeout. I walked in on a very busy Friday night and was greeted kindly. They told me my total and I paid. They then said that one pizza got stuck to the pan, and said they would give it to me for free since it wasn’t a perfect pizza. I was expecting to get half my money back, but I got all of my money back… I asked if I could pay for one of the pizzas, but they insisted I keep it all. However the story doesn’t end here.
They couldn’t get the pizza off the pan, so they said they make me a new one and it’ll be a large, still at no charge.
Long story short I waited an extra 15 minutes walked out with a medium, large, and an order of bread sticks… all for free due to a messed up pizza.
This type of customer service is going to keep my business here. Pizza Hut’s corporate office should give this place some sort of accomidation.

I came here for a last minute «satisfy a craving» snack and I was pleasantly surprised that it was still open. They supposedly closed at 11pm on a Monday but I felt that they purposely left their doors open just for me at 12 am :) No I kid, but seriously I was blown away that the customer service was beyond amazing (especially for closing time) and although I don’t remember the male who worked the front counter, he obviously liked his job as he made sure that he told me when the food would be ready, let me know that although they were closing– they had no trouble at all making whatever for me AND told me that he appreciated my business. I thought I was on tv or something for how great this service was at such a late night. I highly recommend

Sauce drizzles and special crust flavors. That is all I have to say. Super good and cheap specials.
This location is good about offering free stuff or compensating somehow when an order is messed up.

There is good pizza and there is great pizza. This is GREAT PIZZA!!! Service is great.

Used to be my favorite place until last night. When delivery driver showed up, I was paying cash and asked for change. Was told he had none. I only wanted 5.00 back .
Order total $ 29.12 and I only had $ 40.00.
$ 5.88 was enough of a tip. I felt like if I wanted my pizzas I would have to pay $ 10.88 tip on a $ 29.12 order.
Not Cool.
Will not be back.

My go-​to pizza place when it’s a random hour and I want a pizza asap without dining in. Never had a problem! Staff is really cool at this location.

Lucas is the man! He immediately knew exactly who I was when I walked in. He actually thought I was someone else cuz my girlfriend has a dudes name. Lol. Anyways service was amazing and my order was prepared at the expected time. Great conversation and great work. Keep this guy on weekends please!!! Way to hustle. I only like to tip cash and I had none on me so sorry dude! Next time!!!

I love Pizza Hut and would prefer it over Domino’s and Papa Johns any day. However this location has had it’s problem almost every time I’ve ordered. They’re not always stocked up and I’ve always had to cancel parts of my order because a couple of the items I ordered weren’t available. Also, this location doesn’t offer P’Zones, which sucks because they’re the most affordable pizza item on the menu. Next time, I might try ordering from a different location.

When I first started this draft it was going to be a glowing review. That was before they hired a new delivery guy that couldn’t ever seem to find our apartment. He would call in and have us help him find our place. The last straw was a night where we were really hungry and were looking forward to our pizza delivery, only to find that we missed his call. Instead of trying to find our apartment on his own, he decided he was too busy and continued his delivery route. What the heck! Not to mention it was a $ 30 order!
Ever since then we’ve been ordering from Papa Johns. And guess what? They have no problem delivering right to our door. No need to keep the phone nearby to answer a help-​me-​find-​your-​place phonecall.

I haven’t had any bad experience with this pizza hut location. Staffs are really nice and friendly. Once, I had just gotten out of class and was craving pizza so I stopped by pizza hut on my way back home to order some pizza for myself. They always have really good deals so at that time I ordered a large super supreme pizza all to myself for only $ 10. Put down my order, walked to CVS to kill some time, came back in 15 minutes, waited about 5 – 10 more minutes and my pizza was ready to go. They usually charge extra for marinara sauce but the guy just gave it to me :). I’ve done take out before as well and they always get to my place before the estimated time.

THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE!
Ordered pizza online at 11:19am — Delivery set for 11:50a, called to check on the pizza that didn’t arrive at 12:15pm promised to get the pizza in 30 minutes. 1:15pm called to check on, they said they «forgot» to put it in the oven.
WHAT??? That’s unacceptable… don’t make promises you can’t keep.

Can’t miss their $ 10 any size any topping deal! Just come here to get their awesome deal once in a while. Aside from that, probably reserve my pizza cravings at the many pizza hotspots throughout San Diego. This place is for when I’m lazy as it’s nearby and want to bring it back home to eat.

Not sure why such negative reviews for this location??? The few times I have been here (and different nights and times) the staff has been very very friendly. And I was greeted by different people of various ages, genders, and race — so not sure who got bad service? Each «team member» was polite, prompt, and provided accurate service (billing and preparation of said pies all were exactly as ordered — cheese/​pepperoni).
Could it be that some people go into establishments expecting to have their a$$es literally licked in order to give them decent ratings or what? Not sure?
Also — re delivery pizza… everywhere I order delivery… it is going to take upwards of an hour — which is I why I always carry-​out. I call, place my order, leave my house, pick up the pie, then come back — all within 30 minutes… so I save time and money (tip).

Last night, I received an e-​mail announcing that large pizzas are $ 10, any size, any toppings. I was hungry. I couldn’t resist.

So after playing around on the pizza hut website, I found myself ordering a large hand tossed pizza with cheese, extra sauce, and 10 toppings. How much did this come out to? A whopping $ 10! For the first time in my history at Pizza Hut, I got a pizza that had as much toppings as they show on their advertisements. (I uploaded a photo of my order)
They also have a few other deals to take note of as well — I found myself ordering two pans of pastas with 5 breadsticks for $ 10 (Deal on Tuesdays). The pastas weren’t bad, but the portions were smaller than I expected. It claims to feed 2 but it’s probably closer to a medium sized guy portion.
The service was on time according to what they said, or at most a few minutes late. I arrived there about 5 minutes after the time they said the pizza would be done by, and it was sitting there waiting for me as I arrived. However, when I called to confirm that it’d be on time (in fear that I end up there and have to wait for 20 minutes), the cashier sounded quite confused. Also, THEY DIDN’T HAVE PEPPERS. HOW COULD THEY NOTTTT. I felt betrayed. But I moved on by throwing on the 10 packets of cheese they gave us instead.

Someone once said Pizza Hut is Pizza Hut. Yup, I could care less about their food. It’s whatever and I have zero expectations.
But when they call me 30 minutes after I order, and tell me that their driver is really busy (at 10:30 pm) so it might take them two hours to get it delivered, and asked if I wanted to pick the food up, then there’s a serious problem.
I ordered delivery for a reason, and if I had time to go out, there’s no way I would’ve gotten Pizza Hut. Anyway, it’s been 2 hours and the food is still not here.
Their food could probably get 2~3 stars but bad service can deduct a serious amount. And I’ve read some other reviews complaining about their service. Why hasn’t anything changed in this place yet? Maybe cause they don’t care.
And I will never order from them again.
