They made their own menus but not determine to follow them. We were in a large group and came on the end of 2005 but still remember the trauma until today.

I ordered phở to go. Have to say the quantity of meat they give you is more then expected. It’s definitely worth the money and delicious. 4.5 stars for phở. Egg rolls were just average. Not bad, but no worth suggesting. 3 stars egg rolls.

This place is on point! Top class tasting food. Before i walked in, i was not expecting how good everything was gonna be. The beef stew and egg roles were off the chain!

The phở is really good here. I got the phở with nothing in it but a side of grilled bbq beef. Yumm. Nam who was working today was really helpful fast and should get a raise because of his hard work and his great personality. Thank you Nam!

Yummmmmmy phở! Tried a couple different phở place this seems to be the best phö! Place is clean and of course the food is delicious. The staff is super quick and awesomely nice. Everything is reasonably priced! One of the downsides of this place is the parking super :(luckily I live somewhat close and can walk there.

Their rice plates are the most delicious in all of San Diego. They give huge portions that I can never finish on my own. Prices are pretty reasonable for the amount of food you get so give it a try! You’ll like it.

Just wanted to try another place than my usual Phở place. Below average broth. Service was good but the taste of the food was not up to par with Phở Hoa, or Phở Saigon Star.

Delicious! We had Phở, spring rolls and egg rolls. All was delicious including the dipping sauces. The place was clean and the service was quick and polite. It was kind of empty when we got here but filled up as we ate our meal. Everyone seemed to get their food fast even though the guy had lots of tables to tend to. Overall a great experience.

Some of the best Phở soup I’ve had in San Diego. The best Phở soup in the North Park area.

I’ve only been here a few times, but have had really great meals here. The veggie phở is delicious and full of good fresh veggies. The servers have been friendly and funny, and generally delightful. This is probably the best phở in central san diego.

Very good local spot to get phở on a rainy day. The place is very clean, quick service, the broth is very tasty. They do not offer beer but you can get boba.

Phở is good. Food is good. They are remodeling which is great. The only thing bad I have to say is that they let a person who BARELY speaks and understands English to take orders especially over the phone orders. 75% of the customers here are NOT Vietnamese so you would think they would choose to have a better speaking English person take the orders. Twice already the same gentlemen screwed up my order. I didn’t bother taking it back because to me food is food and I didn’t have the time or energy to to do anything about it. Nonetheless, I still like this place and will still come here.

My favorite place in town for phở. Simple, flavorful perfection. I’ve had the phở with rare steak, seafood, and veg now and all are equally great. The price can’t beat and with the new redecoration the place is even more inviting.

Lots of phở in the area, A LOT. This is in the top 3. The service is fast and on point each and every time. The other items we have ordered, besides the phở, are very authentic. If they were open late night on the weekends I’d come more often, but current hours are just fine.

Open on Thanksgiving, polite service, good phở and summer rolls. A regular phở tai runs $ 6.95 and 2 summer rolls $ 4.25 — about average in price.

The food here is AMAZING. I love coming to eat here especially during the cold seasons. Their shrimp phở is the bombdotcom and it’s mostly always what I choose to eat. I have noticed that if you order it to go they give you WAAAY more vegetables. The prices are very reasonable and that’s what adds to it being such a great place. There isn’t much parking out front but there’s some in the back which is a plus. Why 4 stars? Because the customer service is AWFUL, they are quick to serve you but don’t even say a word to you throughout your meal, they give you the stink eye if you ask for a water refill and don’t even say hello or goodbye. This one older gentleman in particular is the worst, but I try to ignore it and enjoy my meal– he’s also part of the reason that I order to go. Other than that it’s a great place and would definitely recommend!

Just how I like my phở, quickly seated, drinks brought immediately, soup served hot and quick, fresh and delicious. They have parking in the back. This is my favorite new phở place right off the 15 freeway

Awesome, awesome phở. Very flavorful broth. It has a good balance and not one spice overpowers another. The prices are very good as well.

Phở sure eat here! Easy to get to, parking in back, nice staff, simple menu and amazing Phở. Best I’ve had in San Diego! Instead of having the Jalapeño’s(What don’t Californians put them on?) ask the staff for the little hot red chilies in the back. Note to self only order to egg rolls next time. ;)

The employee seemed reluctant to take my take out order lol. I thought this was strange considering there was still an hour left until closing and they still had customers eating in the restaurant. I’m guessing they just had a rough day. I ordered vermicelli noodles with pork, egg rolls, and shrimp. It satisfied my craving but I’ve had better. The shrimp were tiny and the pork portions were much smaller than I expected.

The service was great, very friendly staff. The food is fresh and well cooked. The sea food soup was simple but delicious. It’s a clean place. Convenient location por the area. The price of the dishes and beverages are really reasonable for a well served portion. I recommended for friends, families, couples or even for a single person dinner. I will coming back for sure!

Stopped by here on a Sunday evening on my way home to pick up an order my fiancé had called in ahead. When I went in, they were totally confused that I was«picking up an order» instead of dining in. I had to repeat my name like 3 times before he understood. My name(Chris) is not hard to understand. Anyway, eventually got my food and left. For 2 bowls of phở and an order of egg rolls, ~$ 22. The phở was average. Definitely didn’t wow me. The egg rolls were fat which was good. Some places are thin and mostly the wrapping, but these are actually fulfilling.

Phở Van is the closest Vietnamese restaurant to our apartment so we frequent this spot regularly. I always get the tofu phở and it’s delicious. Sometimes they fry the tofu and sometimes they don’t. It’s a fun surprise every time! They have a pretty good selection of appetizers as well. My only complaint is that it smells very strongly of bleach at least 50% of the time. Plenty of seating, good for groups, and their water is really delicious.

Their phở weren’t that good. However, if you asked the cashier for wifi they were willing to give it to you! This is rare since not every Vietnamese restaurant offers free wifi! :) *just an insider tips*

My new fav spot for Phở Dac Biet. Noodles are more firm and don’t soak up the broth. Served hot and the fixings are all tender and prepared well. Veggies are fresh and broth is full of flavor. I always finish my bowl. Definitely give this place a try if you love phở.

Oh yeah… after 5 days through northern california we had to stop for our regular joint… love the phở here. The broth is good and the portion is generous. Best phở in san diego. See pic of my daughter phở without onion. This is a small bowl too!!!
