I can’t believe I forgot to Unilocal this spot! Two years ago I asked for a specific arrangement of green flowers to be made for my boyfriends birthday. When I went the day of his birthday before dinner… They had SOLD them. Whomp whomp. No flowers for his birthday. I tried to call around to other places and no one else had green flowers. That really sucked. :(

I placed an order online to have flowers delivered to my boyfriend today and they were able to accommodate me. They emailed me to ask if it was okay to substitute flowers because they didn’t have the same exact ones shown on their website and I was fine with it but I requested that they send me a picture of the end result. I didn’t get a picture until a few hours later.
My boyfriend sent me a few pix of what was delivered and it doesn’t look like the picture they sent to me but maybe they took it at another angle. Anyhow, he’s happy with what he got so I am happy too.

A huge thank you to Petals by the Beach and Melissa who helped me order flowers by phone from Seattle for delivery in Mission Bay. Melissa walked me through my options and provided exceptional service. More importantly, she was super conscientious about their delivery. Although I ordered these remotely, the recipient just called to let us know how exquisite they were and that they arrived. (To my surprise, this was less than two hours from when I placed the order.)
I highly recommend Petals by the Beach and will use them again!

What a fantastic experience. I had to order flowers long distance and Flora and her daughter did an absolute amazing job assisting me and I can not put into words how amazing of a job they did on the flower arrangement they created for me. Hands down one of the best I’ve seen.

I came in to this shop and was greeted by a super friendly lady. I needed 9 little floral arrangements for a banquet that I was going to. It was also short notice. She walked me around and found a great bright flower that she had and made all 9 within a short time. Great flowers and great arrangement! Totally recommend it.

We chose Petals by the Beach to do the flowers for my son’s wedding. Working with Melissa was a dream! We totally changed the look of the centerpieces from Victorian to tropical and she rolled right with us… offering ideas. The finished product was a masterpiece, as was my daughter-in-law’s bouquet! This florist is THE BEST… and very reasonable too! She will be my go-​to florist in the years to come!!! Thanks Melissa for making a special day extra beautiful!!!

Great place!! All family owned and I got to meet the owner herself! I drove by and decided to see if they’d be able to do a small bouquet for my little wedding– mind you it was about 14 days away. They were really helpful and sweet, I’m not a huge flower person so I had no idea what I wanted. They totally helped me pick out flowers I liked. Melissa was awesome and answered much of my questions, definitely would recommend! Plus my bouquet was gorgeous!

This flower shop is great! This was my first time purchasing flowers from this location and I am so glad I did. At 5 pm on the Friday before Easter, I needed a last min SAME DAY delivery. I knew it was a long shot but Petals By the Beach really came though for me. Jennie was so nice, helpful and very accommodating. She was very patience with me and the look I was trying to achieve. She put together a very elegant bouquet and even sent me text me to confirm the flowers had been delivered (she knew how anxious I was). I will for sure use this company again in the future!

I Unilocaled this place at the last minute for my 3 year anniversary and they came through for me!!! Jenny was great I trusted her to make an arrangement for my girlfriend and she did awesome!!! Flora is the best. I used to live in PB and now I’m back in NY and when I need flowers sent in San Diego Petals by the Beach is my go to. I like to send flowers for no reason and Flora gets a kick out of this. So, if you need a florist in San Diego that is an actual physical person and not a computer screen box checker, Petals By The Beach is the florist for you.

I actually ordered my wedding flowers with the woman who owned the shop before it became Petals by the Beach. When the new owners took over, they were happy to take on my order at the price that I was originally quoted — I ordered a set of bouquets, a few corsages and rose petals for less than $ 250! Pretty incredible!
The ladies here met with me a month before my wedding, made sure the order was right and got everything ready for us to pick up the day of the wedding. I thought that the flower arrangement was really pretty and was exactly as I had hoped for. Very nice folks and easy to work with!
