It is closed as of this morning. There is a sign on the door stating that they have moved to Sorrento Valley but does not show an address.

I’ve only had their Iced Lattes a few times and they are just the way I like them. I get the large with a double shot and it comes with just the right amount of milk. Which in my case probably means more than the average person. I don’t sweeten my drinks so I do prefer more milk. I’m sure they’ll make it any way you want. The food selections are pretty basic but for coffee drinks it does the trick. It happens to be a few blocks from my house, which makes it very convenient. It has some simple outdoor seating, has the neighborhood coffee spot vibe, and the ladies serving you are very sweet. Worth a try if you’re in the area.

Wow today I was blown away by the best customer service I have experienced in a long time! I went in with an inquiry and the manager on duty was respectful and happy to help! Your running an awesome coffee shop in PB and I hope to see your business continuing to flourish.

Well, after careful consideration, I’ve decided to throw my hat into the ring on this bundle if joy. As a PB native, I have sampled the wares of many a local coffee shop and I find perky beans to be mediocre at best. I’ve been in to the shop a couple of times, since I live just a couple blocks away, and never have they made me want to come back. I kept thinking, «oh, it must be a fluke that it took 15 minutes for the guy to make two drinks ahead of me», but everytime the service was SLLLOOOWWW! Additionally, there was never any kind of greeting or assurance of service to come shortly when I did patiently wait for my turn. Some other notes of disappointment include the fact that their regular coffee seems to have no special or redeeming qualities that they want to brag about since its just gas station thermos cannisters set on the counter for self serve. The first time I came i ordered a hammerhead(two shots of espresso topped off with regular coffee). I paid for it before he made the espresso shots and was then handed a large cup with just two shots in it. Not having been there before, I didn’t know the drip coffee was self serve, and after a few awkward moments of me looking at this nearly empty cup, he informed me that I could help myself to the coffee. It wasn’t quite a rude tone, but it definitely had a bit of the, «duh bro» flavor. The most irritating part about this is I paid 4 dollars(approximately) plus a dollar tip for this drink, and I had to do half the work myself! There was nobody behind me, so its not like he should have been in a hurry to help someone(which he clearly wasn’t while I was waiting)!!! So to sum up, a place that I had heard good things about, and was expecting a higher level if quality, severely disappointed; especially since you can go 1, 3, 5 or 6 blocks away, and get good coffee with vastly superior service at 99 Cups, 976, Turquoise Coffee or Lelani’s!

Found these guys at a food truck gathering, and seriously, the best coffee I’ve had in FOREVER. I am glad to see that they’ve got a brick and mortar place and will totally have to check them out! They deserve all of the success. I do have to say it’s a little hilarious when someone decides to start a rage war with bad reviews and call their friends out to jump on the band wagon. I’m sure all these people from Reno, Sac Town and LA chiming in about an incident that has nothing to do with the actual product and/or service really frequent the San Diego coffee market regularly, so their business will certainly be missed! /sarcasm Seriously though, the Almond Roca Mocha is where it’s at for a foo-foo coffee drink! And they actually know how to make a DRY macchiato! You know, the one where it feels like you have an empty cup because there’s so much foam? If you want a latte people, get a latte! Don’t force coffee makers to ruin our macchiatos! Love you guys! Will seek out your shop soon!

I got a Chocolate Acai Bowl with Banana and Granola and it was very yummy. Kinda expensive and service is slow.

I ordered a steamed almond milk, flat with a tea bag. They have almond milk: good. However, the barista could not successfully produce a flat steamed milk product. She was polite and apologetic, but making a flat steamed milk is not rocket science. Also, they put the tea bag in the espresso filter to make the tea. I will try and remember to have them avoid doing this in the future, because it really doesn’t bring out the essence of the the tea like traditional steeping. In other words, the tea flavor is on the flat side.

Decided to stop into this location when I saw it open up a while back. Very nice customer service, not a long wait time and nice outdoor seating. I have gone back a few times here and there for a coffee or a latte. A nice addition to the Cass street coffee stops for me!

I went to this coffee shop looking for a coffee that would be both sweet and strong. I asked the barista for advice, and she somewhat hesitantly recommended a specialty of the shops. I agreed to try it. The flavor combination was at first odd but after the initial sips grew on me. I think it was a blend of mint and raspberry, but I am not certain. Overall the hesitancy of the employee and the confusion with the drink itself leads me to the conclusion that I will not be back.

Good coffee, friendly staff, dog friendly. Less crowded than the other coffee places on Cass st. So service is fast. Plus they have a punch card to get a free cup which is rare these days! I will be going here from now on even though its farther from my house.

I have been in this place a few times. Their espresso drinks are good, smooth and tasty; One of the best milk-foam around: firm and consistent as it is supposed to be, not the big-bubbles variety that collapses at the first stir. the owner, or the guy I suppose to be the owner, as well as the baristas, are all super friendly. One minus star for the pastries. I have not tried them so I may be wrong, but they don’t look like bakery-quality items, they look more like grocery store bought-prepackaged sweets, if you know what I mean. I hope they improve on this side because overall it’s a cute local coffee shop. Will be back.

Got the Mexican Choco-latte here. It was delicious! I’m usually not a huge coffee person but I love trying unique new things and this was a good choice! It is only served hot, which might not be ideal for a hot San Diego day, but it was perfect for me! The staff were super nice and I would definitely come back!

I got coffee and a muffin here this morning on my way to work. This place is walking distance from my house, which is great! I ordered a regular coffee with a shot of espresso and a lemon poppy seed muffin. Both were delicious and reasonably priced. I will definitely be coming back here!

This place was great, small little coffee joint out of the way of the hustle of Garnett that offers a number of different items — including sugar free mixes for your coffee which is a plus for those that want a less sugared up coffee drink from another bigger named corporate coffee shops that are on every corner This place is different as its more like a locals coffee shop in PB, nice outdoor and indoor seating — and they have wifi BUT I was not able to get it to work for the brief moment I was there Give this place a try if you want a simple coffee shop that has a more local feel — Ill be back myself

4.5 Stars overall Coffe: I had the medium– 5 stars! I drink it black so this is great coffee. And HOT it is self pour but this coffee was hot hot hot!!! Atmosphere: clean, indoor & outdoor seating. Service: 5 stars! Charming, said hello, cracked a joke Bagel/pastry: 1 star– they are a coffee shop so it is not directly their fault. Where are the muffins? Turnovers? Bagel was dry and lackluster. Side note: there Acai bowls looked really good– so I might try that next time. Support Local!

Home of the frozen hot chocolate! This drink, along with many others are delicious! We started going to the Perky Beans coffee truck about a year ago, and can now enjoy them any time at this store front location!

The MUNKYJUNK is amazing, and their coffee is great too. Service is friendly, fast, and they don’t have the Coffee-Snob vibe. Simple, clean, delicious.

New, only here about 30 days — a bit bland ambiance & I would give the 5th star if it were a warmer ambiance. It was clean and the fellow behind the counter,(middle guy in their pic), was very chill and service oriented — made me feel welcome to be there. I ordered an iced chai vanilla nonfat latte, with no ice: a tricky order and the barista nailed it, one of the best I’ve had anywhere! The drink gets 5STARS! I will be back & recommend highly. Owners — warm up/personalize the place to keep up with the Jones’ and you will have a jackpot. Go here:). Yay!

Wanted to check out this place because it is new and I’ve been searching for a good acai bowl close to home. The place was completely empty when I arrived and I went to order an acai bowl and it was $ 9.50+ with tax. ALMOSTTENDOLLARSFORANACAIBOWL?! When I received the bowl it was average size and only had granola and bananas on top of the acai. It was good but I do not see the justification for the price. It is safe to say I will not be returning and will go back to Better Buzz and my other local spots that offer better, bigger bowls at a lower cost.

I was on a walk in P.B. and noticed a large coffee sign outside so I headed towards it and found this spanking new place. I came on in and was greeted by a very friendly staff and I ordered the 12 oz Breve with two shots of espresso iced. The breve was outstanding with a smooth and rich overall flavor, not to mention very refreshing. For right now they are using Café Calabria beans but soon the owner will be using his own propriety blend. The offer a great line od coffee and espresso preparations, smoothies, and Acai Bowls, in addition to the pastries they offer. More eats coming soon and free WiFi too! Great addition to the Pacific Beach community. Everything is quite perky here…
