Peekaboo Photo Booth

I hired this booth for a party recently. I paid $ 450 for 2hrs (which I felt was super overpriced). but I did anyways. The attendent was very kind and helpful. But the photos were very cheap looking… very pixilated and fuzzy. The props were so old, torn, and worn out that I didnt want to use them. The props were thrown into the booth on the side in a box. When I called to complain about my experience they seemed shocked to hear I was not happy. im not sure why since it seems there are more negative reviews than positive! I would not recommend using this company. You definately dont get what you pay for!

I would not recommend this photo booth to anyone. They ruined our wedding. The attendant shows up 30 minutes to our event, sets up his equipment and does not know how to work his camera. Then, the attendant leaves and cannot be found for the rest of our event. He finally came back to our venue but did not know how to work his equipment. We had sent away our photographer but we regret we did. The attendant could not get his equipment to work nor did he know how to work his computer system for the rest of our evening. I REPEAT, DO NOT HIRE THIS PHOTO BOOTH agency.

I hired Peekaboo photo booth for my daughter’s quinceanera this past weekend and since this is all still so fresh in my mind I gave them 3 stars. although I’d like to give them less but my daughter had a good time with them and in the end, that’s all that matters. First of all the attendant showed up early to set up which was good but it also made everyone aware that it was there and not available for use until the set time of 9pm. Finally 9pm rolls around and I start getting the question of. when can we start taking pictures? Good question because the attendant is now nowhere to be found! Somewhere around 10pm he made it back (god knows where he went) and finally our guests were able to start snapping away. While I’m upset that this wasn’t done for the time I wanted (or had stated in the contract!) I do have to say that everyone loved the photo booth and every time I would look over there was a line of people excited to get in there. Andrew did apologize for his attendant and their prices are reasonable so for that reason I would recommend them but I would be weary as I see another reviewer had them not even show up on same weekend! I guess better late than never!

The photo booth turned out great! It was my guests’ favorite part of the reception! I was running around a lot so I can’t report TOO wisely on the character etc of the booth attendant but I can say he was there the whole time to help All the guests and show them what to do. I believe he then showed them to the little scrapbook table where they cut the double photo set in half and glued one set of photos in our book for us and took one half home. My ONLY complaint is that there weren’t that many props. Granted Halloween is my fav holiday and I could have brought 20 props to use just from my own stash, I didn’t because I figured they’d have more and I didn’t want them to get mixed up. Not a huge deal, they did bring two colors of boas, a top hat and a giant pair of glasses. I’m not kidding, do a photo booth if you want your wedding to be fun. I’d re-​hire peekaboo in a heartbeat.
Make sure to hire them for at least a few hours. The photos get funnier as the night goes on and people drink more. You can pay for the «downtime» at dinner. Its a discounted rate for while your guests are eating and its a great idea so you can start photos at the start of cocktail hour. Great price. Awesome addition to a fun reception!
