This place is run by a single girl, she makes great sandwiches, sells baklava that are to die for. From the outside it looks like it’s close, but go in and you won’t regret it. It’s chill not like the other places that are pack with 20 ppl in line just for a bagel. My fiancée and I made a pack that it’s our place after a good surf.

When I arrived, the barista was sitting outside smoking a cigarette and followed me inside when he saw me enter. He did not wash his hands at all between coming inside from smoking and touching the bagel I ordered with his bare hands when he spread cream cheese on it himself or making my beverage. He did not press the espresso(I have worked in a café before and that defeats the purpose of ordering espresso). He used the 2%milk out right in front of me after I asked for fat free milk because the 2% was nearly empty and the fat free had not been opened(he picked up the fat free 1st, having obviously heard me, and changed his mind to make his job easier). I do not care about the fat in the milk, but rather the blatant insult to my intelligence. This place is overdue for a visit from a health inspector!!!

Fabulous new ownership that is combining the best of old favorites and amazing new items. The new owner is a young Chef and she promises that we will see much more to come. The smoothie was so fresh and tasty and the proscuitto sandwich perfection

I would not return or recommend this place. Over priced with what you get in return. There are so many other coffee places that offer better coffee. Coffee sits to long for self service. Bread was hard when I ordered a sandwich. very disappointed. Don’t waste your time

I lived in PB for a year before I finally decided to cruise over to the café next to the laundromat. I shouldn’t have waited so long… Helen, the girl who took care of me, made one of the best soy chai lattes I’ve ever had and the roast beef sandwich on ciabatta was pretty tasty too. The unsung hero of the sandwich was the chipotle mayo which had much more of a kick than I expected. The portion isn’t as large as other shops around; but, you wont be dissatisfied.

Good things come to those who wait. And you may have to wait, because genius takes time. But it’s tasty, alright. Go on the off-peak hours and get a PB Mocha. If you’re feeling adventures get the non-alcoholic Mojito Mocha. What would one expect in such a drink? Booze? Sugary syrup? Try fresh mint and lime juice. Sandra is awesome, her establishment is top notch. We can’t ignore the fact that it would be best served by knocking down the laundromat next door, hiring a few more people, and turning it into a full fledged café. In the meantime, props for sticking to a local-minded café that values quality over quantity.

this is very good small little joint. i’ve been there already 3 times(ordered different things each time) and it is consistently good. choices are not many, but it is ok i guess. i would have given 5 stars, but the place is very small and noisy(inside and outside) … avoid large(4 or more) groups. for that fact service might be slow and hectic. ok, that’s enough bitching: the place is very good/healthy food wise. to me? prices are ok for what it is: little treasures. the staff is very friendly! –they even have a loyalty card!

Breakfast served All Day. Healthy Choice Fruit and Acai bowl salad and smoothies. Long list of liquid refreshment hot drinks, iced drinks and frosties. Sandwich was tasty but a bit pricey for what you get. Outdoor seating is a plus

Been here twice now, once for lunch and once for breakfast. For breakfast, I had the bagel with tomato and avocado and a café latte. The coffee was great, and I don’t know how you make something as simple as a bagel with tomato and avocado on it taste so flippin’ good, but it was GOOD! Had the grilled cheese for lunch with cucumber salad. The sandwich has the addition of tomato, onion and thinly sliced jalapeño – yum! The cucumber salad was really good, too, but it came in the tiniest cup! Would’ve liked a tad more. Iced tea was delish, too. They’ve done a good job with the little baby patio out front, trying to shroud it in plant life from the ever unattractive corner of Ingraham and Hornblend. All in all, a winner.

A very nice sandwich and smoothie joint in the heart of PB. I had a sandwich and a smoothie here, and it was pretty good. The Chicken Salad sandwich on ciabatta bread I ate was very good and light; perfect for a hot summer day. The mix was almost more mustard based than mayo based, which I liked. I also had the tropical smoothie which I thought was a little overpriced, but it came in a good sized glass mug and was tasty. The acai bowl was too sweet for my liking. It had way too much honey in in and it kind of ruined the consistency and the tart taste that I love. The fruit in it was fresh as hell, so I am hopeful for other offerings to have that as well. Overall, I thought this was a good spot for lunch, nothing special, a little overpriced but also pretty good quality. This place has to be added to the long list of decent delis in PB, but I am still looking for a great one. They have a lot of options for fruit drinks, smoothie and coffee offerings, plus a large amount of sandwiches and pastries. Not a place that is worth going out of your way for, but good and acceptable nonetheless if you are in the area.
