Passion Florals

I am an out of town customer who called this company because of the high ratings and proximity to the downtown area. I was very impressed with Passion Florals and my overall experience.
I called on a Sunday morning and got a return call by 11 a.m. (so not expected but a wonderful surprise)! Barry (owner) called me himself and is very down to earth and friendly. He was also proactive in asking the right questions relating to the security of the building for delivery address.
In particular, I selected this company because the photos of the florals are unique, exotic, and «rich» in appearance. I didn’t want to send a typical floral to our very special family members.
The photo attached to my review does not do justice for the quality arrangement that was created. I also believe this company is fair and equitable — not trying to gouge anyone but is just a decent, sincere small business owner. For example, my delivery address was very close to the shop, so it was only a $ 5 delivery fee — unheard of! Great!
I would definitely use Passion Florals again in the future. Passion Florals is my go to spot for floral needs.

Barry and his team go beyond expectations for every single arrangements. They deliver nothing shorter than exquisite pieces for all my events! Every arrangement has a theme and every arrangement has been sophisticated and just plain breath taking!

I have known Barry for a little over 5 years now. I am one of his vendors. I have seen his business grow to what it is now. I know that he gets some amazing accounts due to how good his service and designs are. I enjoy delivering to him and I also enjoy walking by his shop when I am not at work and looking in his window to see what he has going on in there. I have also made a few deliveries for him and the receiver was breathless by the arrangement. Barry has also become a very good friend of mine over the years. He is very patient with the warehouse where I work because it can become busy and there can be a small waiting period. But he is very understanding. The staff that work for him is great especially David. I deliver to many flower shops and if you read my reviews, I am very picky about who I do a review for. I strongly recommend stopping by if you are in the downtown SD area. Not only are the arrangements great but the entire staff have a great sense of humor.

The service at Passion Florals was excellent! The flowers were so beautiful and lasted for several days.

I called on Thursday to place an order for delivery today. I didn’t spend a lot of money, as my boss gave me a budget. When I saw the flowers that we received, I was very pleasantly surprised. Not only was the service outstanding, but the flowers were beautiful. Thanks, Barry, for a job well done. We will be utilizing your services in the future!

As someone who has frequently felt the disappointment of spending a lot of money on flowers only to get a tacky arrangement in return, I felt absolutely compelled to write this well-​deserved review for Barry from Passion Florals in downtown San Diego.
To say I «got my money’s worth» is an understatement: what Barry delivered was EXQUISITE, SOPHISTICATED and BREATHTAKING.
This was more than just a flower arrangement, it was artistry in its truest form.
I really appreciate it when someone creates something beautiful.
True talent is so hard to find these days. But I found it! and I wanted to share my discovery with other people who appreciate beautiful things.

Always provides amazing arrangements!

I’ve never used a florist before and I have no experience with flowers but Barry was very easy to work with and more than understood what I was looking for. I only had to see one mock and it was the one.
This was for a work event and some of our attendees stayed til the very end just so they can take one home.
Pros: Vases can be rented; Arrangements are made so they can be taken home without the vase; pricing is more than fair; Barry and his staff are all easy to work with; reliable with time
Cons: None
I can’t wait to use them again on my next event!

Barry did an absolutely fantastic job on my wedding flowers. He was professional, easy to work with, and accommodating. I sent him a few photos of what I wanted, and his vision was more perfect than I could have imagined! Everyone commented on how lovely the flowers were. I just got a Valentine’s Day bouquet here. The price was great ($ 16) and the arrangement was just what I needed (tulips, but not boring, but also not too exotic in a palette of red and white). Gahhh gorgeous! And done in under ten minutes! Whaaaat? Yeah. Awesome. Never going anywhere else.

Barry is undoubtedly the BEST. He creates the most wonderful and unique arrangements. He also makes sure that he personalizes every arrangement based on the client’s preference. My husband has gifted me with Barry’s creations for the past 3 years for our anniversary and my birthday and each work is beautiful and creative.

This is the only flower company that I use, they are amazing and its great to work with such an amazing talented florist, Barry! All of my guests love there arrangements so it works out! Thanks

I always walk by here after work and stop by to pick up some good flowers. Barry there is a cool guy, and makes some amazingly modern arrangements. I can usually get a small bunch of flowers for my gf for about $ 10, and even then Barry puts it together like a $ 100 order. if you want come here, its actually off of 3^rd between C and Broadway, directly across from the US Grant.
