Great place for lunch. Limited but tasty menu of sandwiches and salads with ½ orders available. One of my favorite lunches is ½ salad(any one!) and ½ grilled cheese sandwich. Ham sandwich on baguette is also a winner. All breads are made on premises. Take out and wine bar too.

My new go-to lunch/wifi spot. I love their breakfast sandwiches and salads. Also had their lemon poppy seed cookie which was yummo. I really like it that they are unique and have goats yogurt with jam/honey with berries! I’m looking forward to trying the rest of their menu out.

Excellent date night establishment and or just drop in for a glass of wine. I can’t say enough about the fabulous customer service and the pleasant atmosphere. Every time I come here I feel like staying forever!

This place is located towards the bottom of the hill past the University of San Diego on Linda Vista Road. Pretty easy to find and plenty of parking, especially in the morning. The first thing you notice upon entering is that this place is a lot more spacious than it appears from the outside. It has a nice clean modern look and in addition to the staff, you are greeted by a nice rack of freshly baked bread. It’s sitting there right in front as you enter. #badfengshui I walked up to the counter and quickly scanned the menu. «The Works» breakfast sandwich grabbed my attention and I decided to have it on French Country Bread. Among the six+ choices of bread, it sounded like the best choice. The Unilocal pictures and reviews I saw prior to checking this place out mentioned Cherry Garcia Scones and how good they were. To my surprise, they no longer serve Cherry Garcia Scones! The woman behind the counter stated that it didn’t sell very well so she stopped making them. From the bewildered look she gave me when I mentioned the scone, I assume that it has been a while since they’ve sold them. I settled for the Blueberry, which she offered to warm up. I was a bit hungry, so politely declined. The scone was enjoyable, but in hindsight, it likely would have tasted even better if it was warmed up. My sandwich came out looking amazing and everything including the bread tasted so fresh. The bread was warm, had a subtle sweet taste to it(honey?), and complimented the ingredients in the sandwich very nicely. One of the best breakfast sammies I’ve had in a while. They have a nice offering of various wines and other adult beverages. The place also has plenty of seating and from where I sat plenty of electrical outlets for laptops and such. All this makes perfect sense being directly down the street from USD. I enjoyed visiting this joint. Wouldn’t mind returning from time to time to study or catch up on some reading. If you like good(breakfast or regular) sandwiches, need alcohol, need an outlet for your laptop or phone, or just want to check out a nice rack… of bread… check this place out. 4⁄5 — Breakfast Sandwich 4⁄5 — Service 4⁄5 — Cleanliness 4⁄5 — Overall

I’ve been here a couple times since Pacific Time is located down the hill from USD. So, you’ll find a lot students and faculty here. As a USD faculty member and PhD student, both times I’ve been here I’ve run into someone I know, which makes it feel like one with the culture and community of the university. Pacific Time is the perfect place for wine with friends and colleagues. I wish it was open later since most of the graduate course are in the evening and finish around 8:30 pm, so we’re always looking for a good wine bar to have a drink and a chat. Pacific Time is a lot bigger that it is appears and is perfect for groups. Most recently I ordered the tuna sandwich($ 9). It’s a bit pricey but definitely good. Plus, you’ll get a pickle! I also saw Pacific Time at the Little Italy Mercato recently selling their breads. If you’re eating carbs this week, I would check out the breads here. They seem to be pretty proud of it, and for good reason.

My husband and I visited Pacific Time while our daughter was on an accepted student tour at USD. It is a short walk from the university. I ordered the BLT and my husband got the Turkey deluxe. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Nice ambiance, pleasant people, great fresh food. Overall a very enjoyable experience. It’s not cheap but quality is never cheap — you get what you pay for. There is also a great beer and wine by the glass selection.

I wavered between 1 and 2 stars, and gave ‘em 2 for their decent iced coffee and chill, hipster-classy ambiance. BUT iceberg lettuce, a few chunks of goat cheese, and a handful of thin apple slices for $ 8 and a 10-minute wait?!? Not to mentioned it was served on a PAPERPLATE with a PLASTIC fork. The description on the menu was an «apple and goat cheese mixed greens» salad. You’ve got to be kidding me. Surprising since there are some great reviews about this place. Sidenote: my salad was served on a flimsy paper plate, but the cheese is served on a charcuterie board. Things that make you go hmm… My boyfriend got a Reuben sandwich, and it was fine, but the fact that my salad experience was so bad kinda threw our feelings about this place more toward disappointing. Wouldn’t return.

A great wine bar in San Diego! Pacific Time located conveniently near the 8 and 5 fwy off of Linda Vista Road has a plethora of bold and light wines to quench any palette. If you crave savory foods to go with your wine try their awesome sandwiches and cheese platters. The ambiance is nice and open with several tables and chairs to lounge and mingle with friends or colleagues after work. Staff and owners are friendly!

nice little spot next to USD, kind of pricey but the food was good. I had a tuna sandwich and a beer. the beer selection is ok but they have a better wine selection. my friend tried the grilled cheese and said it was phenomenal but other than that I would probably come back just for a quick bite or maybe for a glass of wine

What an amazing place! The wine selection is exceptional and the sandwiches are to die for. My boyfriend had roast beef and I had the spicy Italian. So good! I love how they specialize in west coast wines. We will definitely be back. If you live close to this place, this should be one of your regular hang out spots!

Really enjoyed their cobb salad! Well priced and filling. My friends got the turkey sandwich and said it was very tasty. Might go for that next :) Very cute atmosphere too – a hidden gem on linda vista road.

What a Linda Vista hidden gem! This place is super cute, has delicious food and a wonderful collection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for there or to go. I love places where you can buy a bottle of wine off the shelf and enjoy it there. Basically anything on the menu is good. They take their time making it, so don’t order something complicated if you’re in a rush. Your food will be handled with great care.

This place has a great breakfast sandwich. I’ve met the owner and dude is cool af. I also had a cup of coffee and it was delish. I’m looking forward to checking this place out for wine\cheese but, since it closes early, I have yet to have the chance. Definitely looking forward to trying it out. The inside area looks really nice. They have lots of breads to choose from also so def looking forward to cruising by and getting a loaf when I’m making a beautiful babe breakfast since I’m within walking distance. I hope they begin to do better and better so I can pop in late at night.

The owners are cool people who really know how to put together some delicious and stellar food! They have amped up their brand to be outstanding in their field. Literally! I can just picture them out standing in fields, picking out fresh and quality ingredients! They also have extended their hours so that you can come in and get quality food until 7pm weekdays. They have added some new menu items to include charcuterie boards, plus beer and wine. Along one wall the big reveal is a «Wall of Wine», that includes many different types. I’d like to see more variety, though. They don’t seem to carry the types of wines I like. Still, a decent selection for most. Pacific Time also serves salads, breakfast sandwiches, scones, artisan baked breads and even sliced deli meats and locally sourced cheeses. There is a separate section on their menu for«Bar Food», which includes several boards and shareable ‘flights’. Happy hour is great but be sure to ask for those prices during HH or you won’t get them. Here, you can eat the finest French Ham panini ever! I just had one and my stomach is thanking me right now for filling it with such fresh, tasty goodness. My French Ham sandwich had Black Forest Ham, Holey Cow Swiss Cheese, Dijon and Lettuce, all on a buttered Baguette, pressed in a Panini. It was the perfect blend of ingredients and perfect amount of crunchiness. The paninis are good. I think the ham panini is the best item on their menu. I’ve also had the roast beef sandwich(needs something more), and their tuna sandwich(it’s a hit or miss). It seems the«pole caught tuna» has changed since they opened. It’s not the same now, as seen in my earlier pic. There have been times when I’ve felt it wasn’t consistent. I’m a huge tuna fan, and I can spot quality albacore tuna from a mile away. Please go back to the original tuna sandwich you had at opening. With a few tweaks and adjustments, and their willingness to recognize the need for those changes, there is great potential. Listening to their customers concerns and fulfilling them is, at times, not their strong suit. I do hope they listen and make a few small changes to make customers happy. A great company will do just that. Pacific Time is well on its way to a much-deserved 5 stars!

Three and a half stars! It is SUPER clean and welcoming here. I like the fact that they offer a pretty good beer and wine selection here in addition to a full on menu of breakfast and lunch items. They also sell an impressive amount of fresh breads, picnic-y type items, beer and wines. So if anyone’s looking to have a cute picnic… this is a good spot! They also have outlets at almost every table so this place is perfect for studying. BUT-I ordered their spinach salad here along with chips and it was $ 10. That’s a little pricey and the salad was a little subpar. The only reason I was left a little underwhelmed is because Urbane is right across the street and their salads are nearly the same price and soooooo good and filling. All in all, I’d like to give this place another try, and I still recommend it. Their bread is good, and they have good toast options and they have a lot to try!

I like this little place. I say little because from the outside, it is quite misleading. It’s a lot larger inside with plenty of seating. I stopped in the morning and right away noticed some house baked scones with chocolate chips and cherry, A.K.A. known as the Cherry Garcia Scone, a clever name indeed, so I ordered one at $ 3. I also ordered the vegetable breakfast sandwich that came with tomato, avocado, eggs, and provolone cheese on Artisan multigrain bread for $ 7. The scone was quite good. It had a nice dense but light texture and came with a sufficient amount of semi sweet chocolate chips and bits of sweet chewy cherries. The scone did tend to break apart quickly when I was handling it, but it tasted very good. The vegetable breakfast sandwich was a mix bag. I liked the flavor of the bread, but it came unevenly toasted. Some parts were warm and had a nice very light brown toast and other parts were not toasted at all and cool. In the end, they need to better toast the bread. The two eggs properly cooked, but a little over on the temp, and needed seasoning. I took care of that with some salt and pepper from the kitchen. It would be a good idea of they provided shakers at the tables or little packages at the counter. The avocado and tomato were ripe and tasty. I did try the salsa they offer with their food which was quite good. They do not make it in house, but rather acquire it from a farmer’s maket vendor. I think this place has good potential and I like the array of fresh breads that they bake. However, with a little tweaks here and there, I think they will be on the right track. The employees are very nice and high spirited individuals.

Everyone: Stop whatever you’re doing and come get lunch here. The sandwiches are phenomenal! I ordered a spicy Italian and a beer, and I haven’t had a more satisfying lunch in years. The bread is delicious and fresh, they have a panini grill, and the entire atmosphere is very trendy and welcoming. It was surprisingly quiet for a mid afternoon, so everyone spread the word and get them some more business!

This place is doing a phased opening, and the whole strip mall is undergoing some sort of renovation, so it’s far too easy to overlook this fabulous little bakery. I only learned about it because it was a last-minute addition to Taste of Morena. Once you get past the construction on the outside, the interior is lovely and warm. The bread is very, very good. It’s dense and chewy. Overall I think I prefer Bread & Cie’s lighter crumb and cracklier crust, but I think everyone else in my family prefers this place. They have a half-whole wheat country loaf which has an almost sourdough taste and a pepper and cheese loaf which is delightfully studded with goodies. The only disappointment was the olive bread which had large sections with no olives at all. Needs more! They’re called«Pacific Time» as their plan is to have food offering from the Pacific Time Zone. At the moment they mostly just offer sandwiches, but are planning on having more meats, cheese and alcohols. They’re also planning on expanding their hours. I look forward to seeing how this place develops!
