I like these guys. The girl who works up front is really nice and they did the job when they said they would. AND I Passed which didn’t hurt either and so did some old lady in front of me.

This place is really awesome!!! Amin is honest and a seriously genuine person! My car wouldn’t start on Saturday night he left the shop open in order to get my car towed there… He told me they were closed Sunday but first thing Monday morning he would get to my car. Monday at noon my car was fixed and ready to go!!! I would recommend at this shop to anyone! I will definitely be back because honest hard-​working mechanics are hard to find!!! THANKS Amin!!!:)))

I don’t recommend this fly by night auto shop! I took my vehicle in at my scheduled appointment at 9 am to have a diagnostic check. No one showed up til almost 10 am. Then I was told they were late because they had to pick up breakfast for the 2 machanics that work there. Really! I should of left then. I told Gladis the receptionist I needed a ride home since I will be leaving u guys my vehicle. She said no problem. I was told I would be notified by phone of the diagnosis later in day. I specifically told the receptionist Gladis to make sure you call me, she said of course with a smerk. Around 4pm still no called, I called to find out what was going on w/​my car? Amin, I think is the owner, told me I don’t know what is wrong w/​your car! I will call u back! I never received a call back. I was really worried but figured he would surely call right back knowing the shop closes at 5PM plus I had to work at 730 am the next day. So I waited and waited til around 5pm. I called 3 times no answer. Since I had no vehicle to get back to the shop. Had to get a friend to give me a ride there. When I got there around 6pm there was no one to be found and my car was parked out on the street! They had my keys so I was unable to take my car. I went back in the morning when they opened at 9am. There was no one in the office. I looked around and saw Amin sitting in one of the cars he was working on. I asked what is going on with my car? I was supposed to be at work. He told me he didn’t know what was wrong with my car, he is still working on it. My car was still parked on the side street. I asked why was I not informed that u needed to keep my car over night he said he doesn’t have time to call everyone and he was working on my car til 11pm last night. That was the 1^st lie. I told that funny because I came to the shop and 6pm no one was here. He then said he had to make a run around then. Another lie. He then said a diagnostic can take days if need. I said you should of told me this when I dropped off my car. He said I should of already known this! Really! I said I want my car back now! He said no not until I un do what I did to the car. I said I thought you didn’t know what’s was wrong with my car. He then said I’m a not going to tell you what’s wrong with your car. I told him I gonna call the police if you don’t release my car now. He said he does not care. So I called the San Diego policed dept and just my luck it took 3 hrs before they arrived and made Amin turn over my vehicle. In all it took a day and a half and nothing was done to my vehicle and I was disrespected! For all who needs any auto work do yourself a favor don’t let this fly by night auto shop con you into working on your car. This auto shop should be shut down for good! Take you vehicle to reputable auto shop. I did and was very happy with the service. It took 3 hours total… zero stars for this dump!

Amin is always helpful and just seems «real». I have an old car that died and when my mechanic friends could not fix it, I took it here to have it diagnosed. Blown head gasket. :(I was unsure if it would even be worth it to get it fixed since it’s so old, but Amin assured me that for my car it would be worth it and that he would get it running tip top again, and for a good price. No need to drag this story out, my car is working great and I feel that I found a mechanic I can trust! 5 stars all the way.

Went here for a smog. Made an appointment an hour in advance, and they got me in right away. Staff was friendly and helpful and the price was on point.

My car needed a smog check and One Stop Auto Service Center came through for me. I brought my car in on a Saturday afternoon without making an appointment and they were able to fit me in immediately. The smog check only took 30 minutes, which is testament to how quickly and efficiently they work here.
Super nice, friendly, and helpful staff. I’m definitely going to be coming here for all my auto repair needs.

This the only place with 15 miles of the convoy area that does brake and light inspections.
Daina was very calm and considerate, a pleasure to deal with, while amin, the tech who worked on my car was fast and to the point.
They took me in slightly late with an almost full Bay anyway. Very fair and affordable pricing, if any issues ever arise that I can’t do myself I’ll be sure to come back.

I’ve been meaning to write a review. I had been researching Unilocal for a decent mechanic. I found One-​Stop and its great reviews and luckily, they are just down the street from my work. The reviews didn’t lie! These guys are great, honest, & trustworthy. I’ve brought my Jeeps over twice and each time I paid less than expected! They always show me the old parts and explain qhere they went bad. They always seem busy, but they always have time for me. I highly recommend them for your basic car care.

Hallelujah! I finally found my go to mechanic! This review is long overdue because I just now got around to opening a Unilocal account. I found One Stop when they opened up their business just up the street from me and I needed to get my 96 Maxima to pass a smog test in a hurry. Since then I’ve had a multitude of troublesome problems repaired by Amin and his right hand man and I couldn’t be more happy or satisfied. They went above and beyond what they needed to do. Even cleaned up the oil and grease built up over the years on the engine! A big shout out to Daina at the front desk for all her help and patience in explaining what needed to be done.

So glad I found this place. Took my car here after it failed smog THREE times somewhere else & had been told by that place that it needed a catalytic converter (among other things) in order for it to pass. We came here to get an estimate for the catalytic converter & ended up finding out that’s not even what the problem was. Long story short-​it didn’t need one, only needed a couple sensors replaced. Honest place, great prices. I will definitely be coming back for maintenance with my other car & sending everyone over that’s in need of a reliable mechanic.

I just moved to town and had a serious oil leak on my Audi S4. I contacted all the import shops nearby and those few that replied with an estimate were outrageously expensive. I then asked a neighbor and he said he just happened by this place and they saved him a bunch of money. I contacted them and Daina was so helpful — taking the stress out of going to a new place. They got the job done right, on time and saved me $. I now feel relaxed knowing that I have someone honest I can rely on now.

I don’t even know where to begin… I’m so excited I found this place!!!
I have a VW Rialta — it’s a Eurovan that has been modified by Winnebago (read: very big and very German). I called practically every auto/​RV/​bus shop in San Diego trying to get somebody to work on it. Most places said it was either too big for them to accommodate or that they wouldn’t work on a VW engine. My RV failed SMOG because of a missing CEL bulb and a code related to the evaporation system. I had already brought it to three previous shops to try and get it fixed. Every other place said I needed new parts (over $ 1,000) or that they couldn’t fix it. I spent three months trying to get the RV to pass SMOG. Seriously.
After abandoning the last shop I brought it to (who had it for three weeks!), I started searching more shops on Unilocal.I had about four good options. Three of my options had four or five stars and over twenty reviews. This place only had four reviews, but after calling everyplace, I decided to give this place a chance because they were the friendliest, seemed to care the most, and were the most confident that they’d be able to fix it.
Flash forward 24 hours and they fixed it! And got it to pass SMOG! Turns out the $ 1,000 in repairs I needed according to every other shop was the result of a missing O-​ring, a loose hose, and an electrical issue that Amin was able to fix by himself. They also adjusted a torsion bar for me — something nobody else was willing to touch. Amin was able to fix the broken CEL on my instrument cluster for next to nothing! The bulbs are diodes that are not designed to be replaced. He ended up soldering in a new one and saving me over $ 600 for a new cluster from VW. Yes, $ 600 to fix a broken light bulb was my only option before I found these guys!
It was a three month search, but I finally found a trustworthy mechanic for my Rialta. I’ll be coming back to this place from now on and recommending them to all my friends.

Did a great job on my truck at a good price. Had a motor mount bracket break off the frame and they welded it back in to place. Knew I needed a new clutch but wasn’t thinking about it and was focused on fixing the mount. When they pulled the motor Amin noticed that my clutch was getting to the poit where it needed replacing. He offered to replace it with no labor just the price of parts. Looked at the prices online and they got a good price. If they didn’t do that it would have cost me hundreds more down the road. Also hooked it up and cleaned my mass air flow and throttle body for free. Friendly service as well. Highly recommend.
