Well O’Hungry’s has new ownership. I hope the old owner’s got a good price for it. We will miss them. Ate there Sunday and my friend burst out laughing. We have been meeting for breakfast there for years but did have a surprise. IF you are a longtime veteran customer you may be dismayed, but give them time. If you are new to O’Hungry’s then you won’t know the difference. New staff seem very friendly and eager to please.

Was a regular for over 2 years but a new owner recently took over. Save your money and go to any of the other resturants. $ 9 for a hamburger… costco style, pre-pressed meat on cheap bun, no pickle or onion… no fries. So disappointed. We used to love this place. Goodbye O hungrys, we won’t be coming back.

So this is my update of this place.. Came around a year ago and my God this place chanced for the worse.. I guess they changed owners. $ 2 beer and $ 6 dinner plates are gone! ! There’s not much variety left in the menu and they raised the price on every single item not just a few bucks but atleast $ 4 more on everything.. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is the breakfast is still pretty good.. RIP ohungrys it was definitely our favorite spot to eat and drink but not anymore. hopefully one day they’ll go back to how it was until then I won’t be coming here anymore

Worst place to take your family or to go in general we were there for 7 min when the waitress some white bimbo with glasses told my fiancé that my son could not play his phone because they weren’t allowed. She should get fired immediately if they don’t want to lose customers.

The staff is rude and the food is not good! I don’t recommend coming here to eat. I’m surprised their still in business.

We were staying at the Courtyard Marriott in Old Town and the offer breakfast for a «small» fee. We decided to walk to O’Hungry’s instead. Our server was exceptional(unfortunately I can’t remember her name). The amount and quality of the food for the price was excellent!

We came in for a yard drink. Ended up getting 3, a group came in and joined us and we got a service charge unknowingly. We had no food, only drinks. Our checks couldn’t be split up because we sat next to each other. Ended up paying 85 for three yard drinks. It was not posted anywhere of a surcharge for large groups. Even though we ordered before the group had joined. Thank you, you made your fat tip tonight. Our drinks were warm, but you made your night. We’ll be taking our service elsewhere.

I had an awesome time today with my family. We were coming in just as a rush looked like it was leaving, so I was anxious that might affect our service. However, to my surprise, the service was tremendous. A couple hiccups occured, but nothing at fault with the FOH. Kids chicken tenders came out a little pink the first time, but our server,(Sophie I believe?), corrected it without hesitation. Our experience from here on out was perfect. My «Matthew Walker» was great, and I loved the bread. Not overdressed in thousand island or mustard, but enough so that I had a taste on every bite. My niece enjoyed the veggie burger, and wife a chicken quesadilla. Everything was eaten, and had to walk off our food to enjoy the desserts Old Town has to offer. Also, 2 dollar domestic 12oz draught is a great deal. We already are making plans to return.

Don’t know what happened. But I feel like I just ate at a school caffateria. This place used to be good. But I know those fish and chips just came out of a frozen bag. And the potatoe skins were disgusting. Never coming back.

My brother and I wanted a quick drink before we wrapped up our Old Town tour. Since O’hungry was by where we were dropped off, it won. The place probably serves cheapest food and drinks in Old Town so we weren’t expecting anything fancy. I mean, $ 4 mimosas? You can’t beat that price! It was a… serviceable one so can’t complain. I can’t say anything about the service except friendly enough and fast enough considering we chugged the mimosas and we’re out of there in less than 10 minutes. I’d probably return for their $ 2.99 breakfast because even McDonald’s can’t beat that!

This place is really cute and low priced. The server was more than accommodating, and even replaced the chicken tenders with new ones when she accidentally spilled ranch on them without me even asking(I felt so bad! but I can’t stand ranch). Not to mention the location is optimal since its in the middle of old town. This place is also nice if you want something a little cheaper that still has the novelty of old town. We were lucky enough to have a Spanish style musician come and play for us at our table, it was very romantic. I wish I had tipped the man more honestly he was very talented. I was pretty happy with my experience overall, I just like the mozzarella sticks a little warmer and cooked a little differently. Otherwise awesome experience :)

Cheap, but Food was very obviously frozen and microwaved. So you get what you pay for. So, not terrible… but not really good either.

Been here a few times. Food is meh, but not bad. Great prices but just nothing too special. Service has never been too friendly but there’s cold drinks and an interesting atmosphere. It’s definitely not our first choice but when it is late and you just want to have a few brews before heading to the hotel… not a bad place to stop in. However, our last straw with this place was on a weekend and it was probably about 8:30(anyone that knows Old Town, knows that there is NO nightlife to speak of) and we figured that since it was a bar, it would be the best place to toss back a few cold ones. BOO!!! Sat for 15 minutes when it was slow(maybe 2 other couples in the entire place) and the waitress walked by us several times, no «just a minute» no anything. We left. Not basing my review on this one episode… basing it on my overall experience though the past couple years.

I have been to O’Hungrys over 50 times in the past two years and the food and service are great. Today at 1:30 on September 15, 2015, I placed an order to go. I arrived to pick up my order and my waitress was very unfriendly(opposite from what I am used to). She was in the back and I said that I was here to pick up my order. She didn’t say anything just walked towards me and went behind the cash register. I then noticed my order packed up next to the cash register and I said«oh, that must be my order»? Still no response and she says $ 21.58. I gave her my debit card and asked did she put in dressing for the onion rings and she said yes. I then asked what kind of dressing, ranch? She said yes and seemed very preoccupied even though the restaurant was pretty empty. As I walked away, I regreted giving a tip(normally I give 20%). I left the restaurant and walked about two blocks to have lunch with my wife. I took everything out of the bag and noticed that my waitress didn’t include a fork or spoon. How are we supposed to eat the coleslaw, our hands? I was already a little pissed with the crappy customer service and now I had to walk back two blocks just to get a fork. I walked inside and all the waitresses were in the back talking. I had to interrupt them to ask for a plastic fork. My waitress just looked up and ignored me. Thank God the other waitress got my plastic ware. I was kinda waiting for my waitress to say something like, «sorry about that sir». I guess that was asking for too much for any acknowlegement for her failure and bad customer service. BTW, this is the first one star review I have ever given on Unilocal. That was probably my last visit to O’Hungrys.

It was late, and we were very hungry. What a lucky find to stumble across Ohungrys! We could not believe the prices: $ 6 for a full meal and $ 2 for a big 16oz frozen mug of beer! I had the mahi mahi, and my buddy had the filet($ 2 extra). To say we were sceptic is an understatement! But to our surprise, it was off the charts with perfection! My fish was juicy and fresh. Came with veggies and a good helping of mashed potatoes(REAL spuds, not the boxed mush!!). My buddy’s steak came cooked to perfection, was tender and so large, he couldn’t finish it all. But with the ice-cold beers, we both had more than our fill. Hard to believe such a wonderful place, with excellent service, perfect food and 1950’s pricing could still exist today… especially in the tourist-trap Old Town neighborhood!

Four of us ate here for lunch on December 27th. Got chicken tenders, Old Town burgers and a turkey burger. The fries that came with were pretty decent. Crispy but not hard, not hot but still quite warm. Not overly salted. The burgers were good sized and juicy. Not salty like typical burgers which is a definite plus. The lettuce was fresh as was the tomato. Overall, the taste was good, but not fantastic. Service was quick and accurate. Would not hesitate to come back if I’m in the area again.

If you’re in Old Town, hungry and looking to not spend an arm and a leg, I would recommend this spot. However, if you can hold off a little longer and/or can spend that extra few dollars, go down the street to the Old Town Mexican Café. This place is isn’t bad but it isn’t a 5 star restaurant, either. The pros are awesome: Yards of beer, and half yards as well. $ 6 plates, casual atmosphere, not to mention the dollar bills on the wall. You can write or draw whatever you want on it and then have one of the employees tape it up wherever. Cons, the service isn’t all that to rave about. The food is so-so, you might be able to order something better from In and Out or possibly Carls Jr. Personally, if you’re dining here, do not eat the spaghetti… Just don’t. The cleanliness of this place is around a 8 on a scale of 1 – 10, with 10 being the cleanest. I think this about sums the place up. If you’re looking for yards of beer, then check them out. If you’re looking for great food and great service, you may want to find another place down the street.
