I chose Sarah and her beautiful candle rentals as a part of décor for my Encinitas Botanic Garden wedding. I could not have been more pleased! Sarah is a talented local business owner who is incredibly easy to work with and such a wonderful person! I shared my wedding design inspiration with her and she immediately came back with such a strong vision for my candle décor and how it would help to bring my design vision to fruition. She was flexible with the candle pick up and drop off times, and our wedding guests raved about how beautifully everything was styled. It was her candles that really added the details needed to pull it all together!
I would recommend Often Wander’s candle rentals to any bride who wants to add those very special details to her wedding day! Thank you Sarah!

This review is for Jen, just because you do not know the difference between grape vine stock and manzanita. Does not mean you have to decline both of my mom’s cards. They are both perfectly fine. And we talked to the banks and they said it was a vendor issue. Hmmmmmm

Often Wander is a great little shop. As a guy, you know you can always rely on Often Wander to have something special for the lady in your life. Often Wander has expertly crafted and unique pieces for your lady or her home. The hand-​poured candles are awesome and available in a wide range of scents. Often Wander’s heart and soul is its owner Sarah. She is more than willing to answer any questions and make appropriate suggestions. Sarah always greets you with her bright smile and helpful attitude.

I can’t wait to burn my candle then bring it back to be refilled. The containers/​glasses are very unique and that’s part of the beauty. The other part is that she combines different scents. I have vanilla Amber and oak moss Amber. You can make whatever combination you want! Friday May 15th they are having a one year anniversary party from 4 – 8. Bring in your own vessel and fill it with whatever scents your heart desires :)

Great customer service. Wonderful and inspired goods. This is my favorite place to find gifts for friends & to treat myself. Just picked up an almond biscotti sugar whipped soap. So luxuriously delicious!

This is such a special shop!!! Every time I need a gift, or just want to brighten up my house, I go to Often Wander. Sarah, the owner, has also helped me with candles for numerous dinner parties and events. She has wonderful taste. I’d like my home to look like Often Wander! Also, check out the pyramid necklace, so chic.

One of my favorite shops in all of San Diego! It’s so eclectic and adorable and I could just look around all day. Just about everything is made there in the shop, so you can even ask for custom orders! I always go here for gifts and I love that they’re not overpriced at all! A lot of the vessels for candles and plants are vintage finds so the product is always changing and there”s always something unique. Also, the often wander candles last forever and once they’re gone Sarah will refill them for you!

Great little shop in OB. Sarah, the shop owner is such a nice lady and brings such good energy to the store. You can find all kinds of gifting items from candles, jewelry, and even furniture! Recommend a stop by this little shop if you are in the area.

I absolutely love this ocean beach boutique. Sarah and all the girls are so helpful and nice. This shop always gives me a good feeling when I go inside, I want to purchase everything in there and bring it home. It always smells great from the lovely homemade candles, they have jewelry, unique one of a kind home décor, I promise you will leave happy you went. I stop in every time I go through OB.

What better way to celebrate Small Business Saturday than by reviewing a local small business. Often Wander is a wonderful little shop in Ocean Beach that offers a wide variety of adorable hand-​made items including jewelry, soap, candles, and cute items for the home. It’s the perfect place to find unique gifts!
Another cool thing about Often Wander is that there are large windows that let customers watch the artisans in the back room as they create the very items sold in the store! I also love the custom-​made wood counter! This shop is owned by two women, and I find them to be very helpful, kind, and interesting to talk to.

This store is ridiculously adorable. Such a diverse and great selection for handmade gifts, jewelry, candles, furniture, and really cute home décor. I want to live here! It really take a few laps around the store to really soak everything in because there is so much great stuff. If you are looking for gifts for anyone, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place as your one stop shop. They have a studio in the back of the shop where the make everything from the jewelry, candles, succulents, and really cool home décor.
