In the 12+ years I’ve visited Doc Dung’s office in City Heights, I’ve never received anything but professionalism and outstanding dental care. This includes periodic cleanings, fillings, and a recent chip repair on a front tooth. Her work lasts and is a testimony to her skills; this includes the moments when I’ve prepared for a numbing agent to be applied by syringe. It’s really something to feel little to no pain when a person’s gums are filled with countless nerve endings. On rare occasions, I tried out other dentists that were closer to my worksite or my home. In the end, the upscale customer area, overhead flat screens, and surround sound just compensated for less-than-stellar results.

I have been going to this office most of my adult life, I really love it. The office is clean and the office staff is really friendly, they have helped me out in a couple emergency situations too. So thank you NPD for everything! I will be calling to make an appointment today! Best, C

I went to this dentist because I read that she was a prosthodontist, however, I was extremely disappointed. I knew her office was in a rough part of town, but I did not expect the interior to compare unfavorably to the neighborhood! The lobby smelled of mildew and the restroom reeked of urine. Nonetheless, I gave her the benefit of the doubt and proceeded to fill out the form. Bottom line: crowns are pretty cheap($ 700) but she’ll leave open margins, which are small spaces between the gum line and the crown where food, saliva, bacteria, etc. can seep in and will, within a month or two, cause decay. She is unwilling to do the work over as many other dentists with integrity are wont to do. This dentist should not be practicing and I’m, quite frankly, ashamed that I went there. Please avoid this place like the bubonic plague.

by Bogs 08/09/2011 Clean office friendly dental assistants. The Dentist took x-rays and recommended I replace16 metal fillings. I had a wonderful experience with this dentist, however when I got a second opinion the second dentist recommended only one filling be replaced. I am concerned that North Park Dental would have replaced 16 fillings when according to the second dentist, only one needs replacing. I am concerned that I was not offered the Resin fillings which are cosmetically better and also require more advanced dental skills to install properly. Nice Dentist, but do not be afraid to get a second opinion.
