New York Buffalo Wings

Horrible. The ribs were way overcooked, not to the point of falling off the bone, but to the point of being crunchy and inedible. The wings were also overcooked, but at least edible, were nothing but deep fried, then slathered in too much sauce. The fries, on the other hand, were better than most.
The bathroom? Well fortunately I could take care of my needs standing. I’d have rather used paper towels to dry my hands, but at least the tissues designed to cover the toilet seat were available.
It also seemed petty to add 35 cents to my $ 48 check for paying with plastic. Though not illegal, I am certain this violates their agreement with their processing company.

Horrible every time I come to this spot I get cold food it takes you 20 min to give me cold food but replace it with hot food in less than three min the owner was rude and told us you will be okay with it… I might have been if this hadn’t happen 3times before I use to love this spot but now it’s all about the wings and things

Customer service wasn’t all that great. Chipotle chicken fries were really good. If you get the large, plan on sharing!

Came here for the first time since we were recommend to try it out. And we loved it! Wings were very good along with the Chipotle fries! Also got the ribs with fries and the ribs were cooked perfect. Had a taste for the bread and it was very soft with butter.
Service was fast, lady at the register was very friendly
Would definitely go back!

Good wings… not a lot of flavor choices but cooked to order… salads are a good choice as well… friendly staff and quick service…

Positive–
I love their honey barbecue and chipotle chicken tenders. The chicken is consistently cooked properly, and they have delicious ranch to dip. Again, I love the food, so bear with me and read why I would give a low rating.
Negative–
They seem to go out of their way to make their ordering process as awful as possible.
If you order over the phone they will take your order, but won’t begin cooking your food until you walk in and talk to the person at the register. The really ridiculous part is that they give you a time estimate, but that is actually a complete lie. Again they will lie and say that your order will be ready at a certain time, but they will always start cooking your order after you physically arrive. I understand you may have people call in and not pick up and pay for their order, but be honest. Just say over the phone you start cooking when someone arrives. Expect a very long wait, even on small orders.
They also have a mandatory charge for using your credit card.
And this may be silly to complain about, but why in gods name do you have a tip line on the credit card receipt? You just hand me the wings.
Not exaggerating, I’ve never once had any of their staff smile at me. They seem really grumpy. I would recommend hiring people that you aren’t related to.
My advice to the owners would be to look at their business from a customers perspective, and try to create a more positive experience. Your food is fantastic, but now I eat there a few times a year, and I live virtually next door. That is how much I hate your lack of customer service. You’re making me go to Wing Stop and I hate wing stop!

They’re nice & work fast. I like the décor.
I think they could work on being consistent with how they serve the buffalo fries. The additions to the menu are great! That being breakfast and mini order of fries.

This is the BEST new york buffalo wings & ribs ever I swear. I’ve been to at least 4 of there other locations multiple times. At least 3 out of 5 times I’ve visited there other locations I’ve left unsatisfied and highly disappointed. P. S. Plus they don’t drown your fries in an inch of hot sauce and ranch, you can actually enjoy the dish with crunchy not soggy fries. (All the other locations should take notes)

Yesterday was my first visit here. We ordered the original buffalo chipotle fries and the half rack ribs combo. The chicken on the fries was so tender and their fries have a nice little seasoned salt taste to them. The portion size was huge. We couldn’t finish the regular size between the two of us. Now onto the ribs. They were so tender and flavorful but next time I’ll be sure to ask them to cook them a little more well done. I do like a little more crisp to my ribs while these were more soft and saucy. The fries on the rib plate were just as good. They tasted fresh and seasoned unlike what I had expected which was limp and flavorless. Also it helps that the young lady at the register is super nice. I came back today to try their onion rings and she was just as pleasant as she was yesterday. This is definitely going to get bookmarked as one of my favorite spots.

Excellent place to get wings with a variety of choices. Pretty decent menu other than wings, they also serve breakfast. Excellent customer service, very friendly. I usually go for boneless wings which are awesome. Occasionally I’ve had the chipotle fries which are also very tasty.

Great food, great service. Today I decided on fries instead of bread sticks, the fries were cooked to perfection. Yummy. This just makes things more difficult for me next time I have to order LOL. :-)

Gonna keep this review short because I’ve only tried the item they’re most popular for which are the buffalo chicken fries and breadsticks. Buffalo chicken fries were actually pretty good. The fries were extra crispy so that they wouldn’t get too soggy in all the chipotle sauce that’s over it. Decent chicken to fry ratio. I feel it could’ve used a little more. I think I ordered the «large» portion for me and my cousin to share. It was kinda average though, like the size of a box of carne asada fries? So I’m not sure how much smaller or bigger it is compared to the «small» size. The breadsticks too a long time to come out. They actually didn’t even come out till we were done eating. I don’t blame them though because it does say their breadsticks are made right when u order them. So they come out nice and hot. I enjoyed the breadsticks.

I have never been to a bar that has so such a large variety of wing flavors. And these aren’t the microscopic kind. They are full-​sized jumbo wings. I liked the lemon pepper rub that they use. I am used to a lemon pepper sauce. My absolute favorite were the teriyaki wings. They were only $.15 with a minimum of two orders per person. You can’t beat a deal like that.

I was in the La Mesa location this evening while the woman was complaining about her order from two weeks ago. I’d like to say the female cashier did a great job handling her and keeping the line moving. She kept her cool and was awesome.
Now what could have helped is if she would have able to interrupt the manager while he was on break outside on the phone. A manager should be available to his staff in that kind of situation.
Otherwise, love the chicken strips and bread. I’ve always had good food and good service there.

The only thing that’s worth going there for are the buffalo fries everything else is disappointing I had high hopes just because the buffalo fries were good so one day I decided to try out the ribs and some bread sticks… turns out the bread was all dry and hard to chew and the ribs weren’t as good as they should of been… lets just say they were alright not the best

Dropped by here last night for a light dinner. Friendly staff, nice-​looking place and the prices weren’t too bad. Ended up with a 5-​wing combo which was pretty good. Got the lemon pepper sauce, which was tasty, although it felt more like a sauce added after the wings were fried versus cooked with it. Multiple TVs everywhere showing sports game, so that was cool, plus there’s a soda dispenser (free refills!). The one thing I tried that I didn’t care for were the jalapeño pepper poppers.

An employee recommended this place and decided to give it a try. The service was GOOD looks like family ran place, but very friendly. Good location and good portions of food! Will return. They also have the back parking structure connected to restaurant.

Service here is so hit and miss. My other visits were pleasant but today the lady behind the counter was rude. She’s lucky we love the chipotle fries…
The medium is not really spicy so if you really want a kick get hot.

Best boneless wings! I am very picky with my chicken and the chicken here is always delicious. A million times better then wings and things and wing stop.

i cannot explain how much i love this place. We call them crack wings because you keep coming back for more. I finally tried the chipotle fries today and WOW they were sooooo good. The regular portion is less than $ 7 and it is huge, i wouldn’t date ordering the large portion, i’d never finish it. The chicken tenders are soooo delicious, they have fantastic family deals for less than $ 30 for a lot of food.
WOW, the breadsticks are probably my favorite part there. they’re amaaaaazingggg.
