I live in the housing division behind this shop, and was in the mood for a walk. I remembered seeing some of the good review for this place, so I ended up here.
I am SO glad I did! The guy working the register was very friendly, and hit it off with everyone that walked into the store. After wondering around for like, forever, I decided to get a sandwich. I ended up getting the T4 (Turkey, Barbecue, Veggies, and Provalone) which was literally the best sub I’ve ever had in my life. This would have been a 5 star visit, but I’m not completely sure the cashier washed his hands before making my sandwich, which was super concerning. Then again, he could have slipped over to the sink or rubbed on some hand sanitizer without me noticing. As long as people make sure the food handler is wearing gloves or has washed their hands, this is bound to be a positive visit!

I live a quarter of a mile away and often go to mission trails to run or mountain bike. I am a type 1 diabetic and am sometimes in need of food to pick up my blood sugar. The location is very convenient for me and I’ve gone in many a time with low blood sugar on the trails. Thank God this place is close enough so I don’t have to worry about running out of food on the trail.

I don’t come here often but when I do, the guys there a really nice. They have a pretty good selection of just about everything. I know they used to make sandwich’s prob still do, never ordered tho and from what I can tell a decent wine selection. Never purchased any but they have a nice little area full of wines.

Friendly little corner store! The staff are super friendly and they have a good range of alcohol as well as snacks. Great for that grab and go item when hiking trails such as water and snacks

I didn’t even know this place was here in my neighborhood. Its kind of tucked away but I’m so glad I found it! The sandwiches are great (love Boars Head products) and the wine selection is fab.
Good prices too! Now that I know where it is its a very convenient stop off on the way home.

I have repeatedly visited this market and have been satisfied every time. With regards to the deli, I find the food satisfying. I love the beverage selection but am a HUGE fan of the beer/​wine selection. The owner always lets me know when he gets a new shipment in!

I was hoping that I had found another deli gem, but no such luck. It’s not bad; it’s just not great. The do serve Boar’s Head products, however. Wait time for food = too friggin’ long, which seems to be a problem of too few staff and too many bicyclists coming in from the Mission Trails Park for water and snacks. (I was there on a Saturday.) Oddly, they have wine tasting on Saturdays at 3:00 pm in a designated wine room and they also carry a decent selection of wine magazines. I haven’t tried the wine tasting, so can’t speak to that. I will give the sandwich lady props for washing her hands after every register transaction before returning to the sandwich kitchen. It appears to be a Mom ‘n’ Pop place, so I want to be supportive, but it was just ho-​hum.
