I ordered a coffee and as I drove to the drive thru window I could see the server cleaning liquid that had spilled with a rag. I was skeptical to see wether he would wash his hand so I continued to watch him. He rung the rag in the sink, then attempted to try his hands with napkins. Without washing his hands he grabbed the coffee cup, served the coffee, put the lid on then gave it to me. Coffee went straight into the trash, I’m never going there again.

I got into town late the night before and I woke up at the butt crack starving. While I could have drove off the base and looked for something local, I was fearful that traffic would be horrible and I would be late for an appointment. I spotted that familiar Scottish restaurant, the one with the golden«M» that specializes in hamburgers(who knew the Scot’s loved burgers and fries so much!) and that is where I would have my breakfast. Being that I would have ordered a breakfast burrito out in town, I opted for the breakfast burrito at Icky Mickies. I’ve had them before, so I knew not to get too excited. I inquired if a hash brown came with the meal, and I was assured there was one. I have to point this out, I am not a huge Micky-D’s fan. This review is not about the food, we all know about Icky Mickies food. This is based on the service, and something I have not seen in a while, SPEED. I forgot how fast food is supposed to be living up in the Pacific Northwest and the South for far too long! There was hardly a wait in the drive-through, yet there were four cars ahead of me. Each car had the meal ordered and moved up to the window, money was exchanged, and in a very short time later, a bag of food handed through the window to the patron in the car. It took less than 90 seconds from when I ordered my food until I had it in my hand. I seriously cannot recall the last time I had that fast of service. Wait, I do. It was in Nashua, NH at a Dunkin Donuts and I ordered a coffee and a sandwich. It was all ready by the time I made it to the counter. It took about 2 minutes then, but that was fast! The other thing I noted was the hash browns are thicker down here than I have seen elsewhere, so instead of a hard and fried potato brick, it was actually crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, just like you want it.
