I’ve been to the Linda Vista location many, many times and have never had a complaint. There was a Groupon for this specific location so I thought I’d give it a try yesterday. First off, it was in such a weird location(inside a business building) that i had to triple check the address on my groupon to make sure it was the right place. The building also has not updated their directory so that threw me off as well. I found the suite and found it was locked, perhaps for security? It would be odd to have someone accidentally walk in if there was no one watching the front. The suite itself threw me off as well. It was like walking into work. Ambiance aside, the massage room I was in shares a wall with a different office and it was kind of hard to relax when you hear a full on conversation someone was having with a potential client. Again, it was like walking into work. The massage bed/table itself was very uncomfortable as well. The massage therapist said the owner was working on getting better ones. The table had no face hole that opens to the bottom and the face cushion that was there was attached to a plastic base, so every time the massage therapist was pushing down on my back/shoulder area, my chin would hit the plastic part of the contraption. She swapped it out with a thicker cushion but since there was no open face hole, it made it very hard to breathe(basically was breathing into the fabric of the bed). We ultimately swapped it out with a regular pillow, which meant my head was to the side the whole time. Not comfortable at all. I have an uncomfortable crick in my neck today. The massage with Nita itself was really, really good and she was very apologetic about the uncomfortable-ness. I don’t think I’ll be coming back to this location and just stick with the Linda Vista one. Do yourself a favor and don’t book your appointment right away; wait until they have things more organized. 5 stars for Nita, my massage therapist /1 star for everything else = 3 star average.
