These guys are absolutely amazing. I’ve done a lot of business with these guys over the decade I’ve been flying/​taking lessons. 99% of all pilot supplies I buy, I buy through these guys. Recently, I came in to ask about my fuel sampler light that got burnt out. Despite it being an older product, with it’s fair share of marks, Keith offered to exchange the light with a brand new one (if we weren’t able to get a hold of the manufacturer). I was absolutely amazed at this, and to that end, I can’t thank them enough. Highly recommended! Super nice guys! Super helpful!

I thought the customer service was awesome. I was searching online for an ND filter for my GoPro and their website came up as a local San Diego vendor. Instead of waiting 3 – 4 days for shipping I sent an email asking if they had a store front and received a response in less than 5 minutes. Drove up, they had several different filters available and they were actually cheaper than the competition online. My experience was great and will certainly return.

Came in here yesterday for some supplies. Really nice and helpful staff. If your a pilot or student pilot, this is a one-​stop type of place, they got just about everything you could imagine at good prices.

The customer service in this shop is terrible. God forbid you want to look around at all the gear they sell.
They will treat you like an inconvenience, and ask if you’re going to buy anything… and then when you do, don’t expect any niceties.
As for the gear they sell… yeh good… whatever, but be prepared for a shitty experience.

Great little store. The employees were very helpful and knowledgeable. They even gave me the Internets price instead of the in-​store one. They have a big array of pilot apparel and gear. Interesting to see Van Heusen dress shirts there, which are much cheaper then at a JcPenny. A nice selection of bags, badges, jackets, shirts, and accessories. And if they don’t have it at the store, they can work something out online for you. I will definitely be back if I need anything again for my Pilot.

I do lots of back country traveling, on foot, 4×4 and boat. I have used a Spot Satellite location unit for some time. The new model came out, Spot Gen3. Nobody but nobody had it in stock, not even the Spot website. Started calling, and the most helpful and kind person answered the phone. he indicated they did have it in stock, and recommended it be sent out US Mail Priority. It would get here in two days. Not having done any business with them before, and hearing stories about internet purchases being a problem some times, was not even concerned.
I ordered on Monday, it arrived on Wednesday, properly boxed, safe and secure, in as good of condition as it came off the assembly line.
They have my recommendation for anyone needing a purchase.

Excellent customer service and extremely knowledgable and helpful. I totally disagree with the reviewer that calls them dishonest. From my experience this was far from the way I would describe Marv Golden. Will use them every time I need pilot supplies.

I have had nothing but the best service and treatment from this shop. They have always been very helpful and always seem to have everything you need. Even if you are not a pilot they stock really neat airplane items and pictures. Its fun just to have a look around.

This place sucks, the only reason I come here is because its close to the airport and the only place I know of where I can actually see what I’m buying VS Internet. The guy who is there (usually in the back computer ignoring you slightly overweight) treats you like he is some honored world war 2 vet who flew 10k hours in a concord and you’re a poor young student flying a powered parachute. Don’t even think of telling the guy (after YOU have to say excuse me to get attention) that you’re looking around because he will treat you like crap. I walked in ready to spend about 1200.00 on a GPS unit but was so turned off by the guys attitude that I took the chance and purchased it on-​line.
I hate you guys.

Marv Golden is a great, perfect place for all your pilot supplies. Anything from your dress shirts, text books, charts, GPS, radios and a lot more. When I did my fight school that where I got all my stuff that i needed, and they will help you out with whatever you did.
