I talk about my undying love of this food truck to my therapist almost every session. She thinks I have a problem.

We drove from South Orange County and my parents and sis from Santa Ana to try this truck. And let me say it was worth the drive!!! Try the Baja Trio for just $ 7. Can’t beet the price for 5 star food you get!!! So when ever you guys are in San Diego stop by and give them a visit!!!

I’m writing this review for two important reasons. 1. Target is now the mothership of the parking lot and they did not kick out this dream of a taco truck. In fact, it appears that they may have even done one better and gave them a covered area with a communal stand-up table to use. Was it on Target’s dime? No idea, but it has made grabbing a fish taco from here that much better. 2. The tacos. Sure, they’ve always been fantastic, but I cruised by and crushed two of the standard fried fish tacos the other night and they were better than I’ve ever had from here before! The batter was crispier, the fish was flakey, the produce fresh and the price was right… as always. I’ve dabbled with the menu a bit and you’re sure to find some gems but trust me, stick to the fried fish taco and you’ll be a-ok!

If you told me I could get fish tacos of this caliber at this price before I came here, I would have told you that you were insane. But it’s true… for $ 3.24 you can get two huge fish tacos stuffed with cabbage and salsa and covered in a creamy mayo sauce. While I love Oscar’s and other similar establishments, this place gives them a serious run for their money at an insanely improved price. Do me a favor and eat them right there, because they are best fresh and crispy, with just a squeeze of lime. If you have the gall to wrap them in foil and steam away the crispness, know that you are getting glared at from wherever I happen to be. Oh, and during rainpocalypse, they were handing out hot cups of delicious seafood soup. How amazing is that? I literally have nothing bad to say.

My family and I were on vacation in San Diego and we were looking for some fast, inexpensive, authentic, tasty Mexican food. I discovered this place on Unilocal, and it delivered on all fronts. The food was excellent and the employee who helped us was very friendly.

I’ve been around the block a few times when it comes to food trucks, especially Taco Trucks. This hands down, is the best Seafood Taco Truck I’ve tried. Not only is the food fresh, cooked perfectly, and flavored more then any other, the sauce is what takes them over the top. I recommend the Beef & Shrimp Quesadilla with the Chipotle Sauce(Red) and Fish Tacos with the Green Sauce. Definitely will be making the trip to SoCal for these again.

This place is absolutely delicious for fresh fish tacos and seafood tacos. I highly recommend checking it out and you really cannot beat the price either for the amount of fresh ingredients and portions you get.

If my husband could marry this place, he would. We’ve actually only ever had the fried fish tacos, but when they are $ 1.25 each why would you try anything else??? Love that they give you soup while you wait for your food!

Yummy for my tummy! I was so excited to eat the food, I totally forgot to take a picture. This place is amazing. We had the Diablo shrimp taco, fish tacos, the marlin taco, oysters and a seafood cocktail. All were delicious except the oysters, but I think I just generally don’t care for Southwest oysters after trying Northeast oysters. Anyhow, the little taco truck is worth a visit. They have outdoor standing room right in front of the truck and as all of the previous reviewers have mentioned, they give you a complimentary seafood broth and celery soup before your meal. They also sell real coca cola– you know, the kind made in Mexico with real sugar, which is basically a dessert after the salty seafood. I’ll definitely be heading back to this place!

Pretty decent food-truck food. The shrimp tacos are fried, which is fine, but the batter was a bit thick and soft. I also don’t know if I got smoked swordfish or carnitas. The meat was very pork-like. I suppose that isn’t a bad thing if it was actually fish. Good supply of hot sauces and salsas.

Yummmmm! As an avid traveler of Baja, México and longtime resident of San Diego, I can safely say that these fish tacos are
It’s hard to ever claim something as the«best»(I mean, flavor is so subjective, ya know?) but these tacos are muuuuuuy delicioso! The tacos are a little bigger than average. Two is good for me. I eat here every day that I work nearby. The price is cheap, the service is great, the parking is plenty, and the lovely ladies always offer you a free small, hot consome(seafood/veggie soup).

The food was good but there is a foul smell in the salsa bar and the women Who work inside the truck have a very vulgar language not caring if customers are listening to them or not. I won’t be going back

Best sea food food truck so far on my list. Cocktails have authentic flavor and not that cheap tomato sauce you taste in other sea food joints.

Fish tostada is exactly how I remember. Yummy! The octopus has been better before. It has a red sauce on it this time and I prefer it without the red sauce. But I cannot complain. I love this food truck. Who would have thought the best ceviche in SD would come from a food truck?!

I got the shrimp taco and the octopus taco. The shrimp taco was super delicious! The octopus taco was pretty good too but I would get something else next time. I also saw someone walk by with a shrimp coctail and it looked amazing, I’m going to try that next time. Definitely coming back!

Ok so let me make myself very clear I am highly critical when it comes to Mariscos especially when I’m hungover. So to give this place five stars says allot people! So to keep it short and simple this is as fresh, tasty, and fair priced as it gets lady’s and gents. So if your in SD and your craving great seafood look no further than this hidden gem and tell the lady I said high. I forgot her name, but I know she’s from Sinaloa and is super friendly!

How can you beat a fish taco for $ 1.50? Wow! It’s a lot bigger than many other street tacos I’ve had. It was falling out of my hands as I was trying to eat it. Just so you know, That’s a good thing. The only mistake I made was not buying 2. The service was quick and I already can’t wait to go back.

German or Nine Seas? we’ve had both more than a countless times and I have to give it to nine seas. the batter on their fish taco is unlike any other. almost tempura like how crunchy it is on a bite,… but the batter just melts in the mouth and kind of sizzles when you move it around. their other mariscos you can never go wrong and always fresh whether it be cooked or ceviched.

STAYAWAY! If you do then you’ll fall in love with this food truck and you’ll become a regular — like me. Which means that you and I will start competing to be first in line. Sure, it starts off innocent enough but eventually it gets more and more physical until one of us attacks the other. Then the cops are involved and it’s game on. You key my car, so I ship your cat to Honduras, then you set my house on fire so I kidnap your wife. That certainly escalated quickly. All because the tacos are THAT good.

If you have a craving for fish tacos, Marisco Nine Seas Seafood is the place. You can’t find $ 1.50 fish tacos that are this big anywhere and this good. The fish batter is crispy but not completely all batter and the veggies are fresh. Not only do they have yummy fish tacos, but garlic shrimp(my second fave), and much more on their menu that will surely please anyone in your party. Two tacos are more than enough for a person but if you dare to be adventurous i say order more. They have sauces available and also a tented communal standing tables. FYI: They give free soup with your meal. They also charge $ 0.50 per debit/credit transaction.
