Specialties
Mapo specializes in Korean BBQ both All You Can Eat and individual orders. We recently renovated the restaurant to include grills in the tables. Mapo also has traditional Korean food, most of which can be changed to a vegetarian option if asked.
History
Established in 2006.
Mapo started out as a sool-jip or a type of korean pub but quickly changed to a traditional Korean food restaurant called Noodletown. With the addition of the outside patio, Noodletown quickly gained more recognition as Mapo so the name of the restaurant changed once again.
Meet the Business Owner
Louis S.
Business Owner
My name is Louis and I was born in South Korea. I moved to the states at a very young age but held onto my traditional Korean roots. When my business ventures into the field of insurance did not work out as well as I hoped, I turned to owning my own restaurants. Convoy tofu house was my first establishment and it is still going strong under the new ownership of my older brother. Mapo is currently the only restaurant I own but I am looking forward to changing that and opening up many more.
