It’s a nice salon. It’s very professional.. My only complaint, and it’s a big one. I just could not get a good cut or anything else I left looking at least 10 years older than I am, or at least that’s how I felt.

I went to see Heather a couple times, she did a great job! Understood what I wanted and did it! Now she’s at Deva salon in mission bay 619.2 481 345! I definitely recommend her on keratin and give 5 *s because she gives the Deva treatment.

I got my haircut last week by Rosanna. I did not have an appointment, just walked in and was warmly welcomed. I knew I wanted to cut my hair a bit shorter, but wasn’t exactly sure what I wanted to do. Rosanna took the time to look at my hair, play with it a little and then made some suggestions. She did a great job. I also appreciated that she brought me some magazines to read while she cut my hair. She was very friendly and pleasant but it was also nice to not feel like I had to make small talk the whole time. I love my new style and the price was very reasonable. I will definitely go back.

The results are just like the name — «Magic!» Upon switching to short hair after 48 years of long hair, my wife needed a hair dresser and was referred to Magic Mel by a trusted friend. He invests time in evaluating the proper style to fit the person and listens to the customer’s requests. Mel is a perfectionist and truly wants you to be happy with your hair. I have been going to Melica for facial threading for about nine months now (I go every 2 – 3 weeks) and she is amazing at what she does. I was so thrilled to see that Tierrasanta had a salon that offered threading. Melica knows what she is doing and definitely caters to the customers’ needs. The threading is not painful as she is very gentle. I have sensitive skin and have had no problems with bumping or redness. I took my husband to get his eyebrows done as well, and he loved the results too. Melica is also a very nice person, which always helps and I am more than100% satisfied with her :-)

kind of a higher price than what i thought $ 40 for a shampoo and cut but it wasnt bad. i tend to just say «i trust you» when i get my hair cut and as long as i can put it in a pony tail i’m good.
first approach it was clean, nice and cool, friendly, and a good atmosphere
while getting my hair cut it wasnt that awkward silence nor a ton of gossip. She paid attention to me and she gave me magazines while she cut my hair … in other words we talked but she didnt badger me with personal questions like some hairdressers tend to do.
i liked that it was family run, one of their kids (of someone that worked there) wanted to be «a big helper» and kept the floor nicely swept.
Rosanne cut my hair and i thought she did a good job. would i go back, yes.
it was priced higher than i thought but i hadnt had my hair cut for 10 months so in that aspect it was worth it. Lower the price higher the tip!

Just checked out this salon because they offer eyebrow threading. Prices are competitive with my favorite threading place and she did a good job. Only wish she wouldn’t ask if I want my «mustache» done. Sure I have some blonde fuzz on my lip but calling it a mustache is insulting.
Also got a hair cut while I was in. Included a shampoo and blow dry for $ 34 (with a $ 10 off coupon they gave me). I usually go to the hair club too around the corner and pay around that for the same service. I may come back again mostly because its so close to my house.
