So, I attempted to make an appointment to use my Living Social deal and Janet called me to say that I had«11 months to make an appointment and she is all booked up until the expiration date(3 weeks from now) therefore, I cannot get a massage by her unless I pay for the regular cost of a massage.» I love how she expressed to me how much time I had to use it and didn’t. She doesn’t know my life schedule. Perhaps she doesn’t know how hard it is to plan ahead when in the Navy. *subject to availability, as she said is how she was accepting vouchers. She said Living Social already paid her so she has nothing to do with this anymore. Yeah– nice way to run a business. She expressed to me that she runs a business and she cannot extend the date of the expiration to perform her service. Well Ms. Janet… perhaps you do run a business but as I expressed to you, referrals are very important to a business and you will NOT be getting one from me! ***IMPORTANTNOTICEFELLOW UnilocalERS: The NEW name of her business is called THEBODYSHOP @ 1111 Fort Stockton Dr., Suite H SD92103

Living Social made it possible for me to get a my first stone massage here(usually costs too much). This was the best massage I’ve ever had. She pays attention to every little muscle. Great massage therapist!

I needed a reiki session so badly I didn’t have time to look for reviews — and in this case, there weren’t any to be found. That should have been a warning. Luminesce is located in the middle of an office building, and I can’t say the waiting room adds much to change that feel. It was expensive — $ 95 for an hour and a half — and I honestly have to say that for the first whole hour I was bored. I’ve never had that happen during reiki. Usually I can really feel the cleansing process! But this time it was mostly just waiting for the therapist to shift her hands to the next postion; not even a hint of massage involved. Yawn. Finally, at the very end I got a little bit of release but not nearly what I’d been hoping for. All in all, I was disappointed. The therapist was friendly and professional, but I feel like it was mostly a waste of money.
