This place was horrible. I ordered two shrimp tacos and when I got home, saw they only gave me 1. I was also told the tacos came with two tortillas and it only came with one and like 3 shrimps. I also ordered the buffalo fries and when I opened the box I got grilled chicken and fries, not the buffalo fries in the picture. The $ 16 wasted there were not worth the drive back to that overly crowded and hectic location. Great customer service, horrible food.

All they wanted to make was rolled tacos because they where closing soon didn’t even get a chance to try anything on the menu SMH!

Carne Assada burrito. You don’t need anything else. Fast and convient. I always order in the drive thru so i don’t know about eating there.

Great food and they have a drive thru window! We’ve had tacos, burritos, enchiladas etc. They have everything! Think huge sit down restaurant but in a small joint with a drive thru window. Chips, great salsa for free if you eat in. Self serve drinks if you eat in. Nice portions. Molcajetes. What else can I say. We love this place!

Excellent accidental find! If you are at the shopping outlet, walk across the street and come here. Steak burrito was out of the world. The soda substitute, the purple drink was natural, made in house and yummy! The milk/rice drink was very good as well, but I just had a sample.

This was a great find after a long day of shopping at the outlets. It’s right across the street and the food is delicious! Highly recommend the surf and turf burrito!

I love their food but the service needs A LOT of improvements. I’ve been there with family tons of time and they’re rude and inattentive I’ve been w a group of friends and they told me we get chips or tortilla when I’ve never been offered any before. I felt like they were discriminating locals.

Very disappointed, I got the buffalo chicken fries. They we’re gross, I didn’t even finish them. The chicken look like chunks of gray meat I didn’t eat the chicken. The fries were ok, but to spend almost $ 8 on them I would pass. I do not recommend them.

I love that this place has a drive-thru option. I have eaten here before and can attest to the quality of food being top notch. Their facility is very clean and their service has been very friendly. I have had their caldo de res, carne asada tacos and burrito and rolled tacos. Their meets are very flavorful. They even have a salsa bar when dining in.

Muchas gracias. Lo unico negativo, no aceptan tarjetas American Express.

A MAJORCOMPLAINABOUTANYTYPEOFRESTAURANTISTHE«GUACAMOLE» Avocados, tomatoes and onions! Everything else guacamole salsa or some other concoction! Like other crappy establishments they add sour crème and or mayo to make it last! A true trade of a dying establishment! Keep that«top heavy» cashier, to bring in more customers, for your food is not!

Lucky us for running into this little place while along the border. We were just looking for a little cheap Mexican restaurant and hopped in here without checking the reviews. The food was awesome and at a great price, the enchiladas were perfect. Sometimes little places make their Mexican food extra greasy — not here it was fresh and looked great without the grease. This is definitely a must try if you’re in the area looking for cheap delicious authentic Mexican!

I gave it 4 stars because the customer service was legit! Their carne asada on the other hand is no bueno. Super fatty and gross, I won’t ever eat that again. Their potato taco… bomb! Loved it, I’ll be going back to try other stuff on the menu!

I stopped in here after shopping at K-Mart to get a quick bite to eat. Like an idiot, I ordered the Grande Burrito. I had NO idea it would be TWOHUGE Burritos! Yikes! Portion sizes are more than ample! The Burrito was great! It had carne asada, fries, cheese, lettuce, pico de gallo and sour cream. Don’t forget to use their hot sauces. I prefer red, but they have green too! I’d definitely hit this place again. Like other reviews, staff was so-so, but they were polites and definitely multi-tasking. I didn’t even know they HAD a drive-thru until I read another review! Bottom line: Check’em it’s worth it!

Good authentic Mexican food conveniently located right across the street from the outlet mall. Good spectrum of prices depending on your appetite. You can get out full and cheap if you want to. Customer service is okay, nothing out of this world. The cashiers definitely do a lot of multi-tasking like taking drive thru orders, cleaning, prepping food, etc. I ordered the Carne Asada Plate which consisted of carne asada, rice, beans topped with a little cheese, a little lettuce, tomato, and a dollop of guac. Order extra guac if you’re an avocado lover like myself. That dollop didn’t cut it. They skimp ya on the cheese too unfortunately. They replaced a Taco Bell that was here a few years back. Authentic is definitely the way to go in San Ysidro, and they get steady business here because of it. No terribly long waits… and they have air conditioning which makes such a difference on a hot California day. Not my first visit, not my last. Enjoy San Ysidro eats prior to or following some good ol San Ysidro shopping.

This place is always really good! The prices are very good, and the place is spotless. When it comes to taco shops, cleanliness is a big deal for me. A big plus is they always have Mexican TV on, so it’s great for working on your Spanish skills. Muy bueno.

These taco shops all start to seem the same but this one isn’t! Great prices for quality food. Their 99 cent fish taco is better than the local Los primos at a third the cost. Also loved the potato taco for 99 cents. It’s clean and they are very friendly! Next time I’m shopping at San ysidro outlets I’ll be back.

Super cheap for such great tasting food. Their fish tacos are some of the best I have ever had, and their carne asada fries are just as tasty.
