I have been a patient of Dr. Lopes for quite a few years now and have nothing but good things to say about her and the entire team in her office. Upon arrival, i am greeted promptly and warmly. I always feel welcomed and never am made to feel like a problem or inconvenience. I appreciate Dr. Lopes because she is caring, patient and thorough. She asks questions and gives straight answers to my own questions. She encourages me to make hood decisions about how to best take care of my health, but doesn’t make me feel bad or judged when I fall short of my goals. I look forward to continuing our doctor-​patient relationship for many years to come!

I was anxious to be seen by a Dr. after a week of coughing, so wasn’t prepared to wait for my regular Dr. to have an opening. I said I was willing to be seen by another Dr. in the same office. Bingo. 1:40 PM appt. with Dr. Aimee Lopes, DO. What a bright ray of sunshine! She listened to my lungs, and more importantly listened to my other requests, as if I’d been seeing her for a decade or more, but a decade ago, she would have still been in grade school
(I swear!). Her specialty is Osteopathy, but she’s in an office with Family Practice Drs. If you’re looking for a Dr. in the Kearny Mesa area (Sharp system), there is no gamble with this one. Go for it!
