Homeless and druggies. This place is the worst, it’s so close to the homeless shelter. They fight, drug transaction, and drink near by. No body cares, Universal security is supposedly monitoring this area, yet just ignore the problems. This business fails to the community and doesn’t care other than making their money.

This liquor store is located in a different type of neighborhood, full of drifters. All the guys that work at the liquor store are cool as a fan, and when I used to live in the area, I always went to this place for my refreshments. The items are a bit costly, but that is just because it is located downtown, so nothing unusual here. Perfect place to go to before a padres game so you can smash a few drinks before heading to the game!

Place is off the hook. Love the straight forward people that work here. They got to be with all the riff raff coming through. Vulgar, crass, its awesome. Real nice people though. Live in the apartment building across the way. From NY and this reminds me of a NY minimart/​liquor. Spot on!
