Little Thai Massage & Bodywork

IT WAS AWESOME AND I HAD AMAZING RESULTS!!! If you have back issues this is the place to go!
I visited San Diego during my New year vacation. I have been dealing with severe back issues due to 4 herniated disk. I was in pain most of my trip and could hardly stretch even after doing a decent amount of warming up and stretching. I also might add that up to this point, I have been in severe pain for over a year. About 8 weeks prior to this trip, I was in the most pain to date. Anyway, my wife encouraged me to go get a massage. She ended up booking us both one here.
The place is attached to a parking garage and is mainly used as a hair salon. Our first thoughts on the décor was that it was a little unattractive but we decided to press forward with the massage. The massage room is just behind the reception desk. My wife got the younger lady and I was paired with MAYA. Right away, It felt as if Maya had been doing massage for a long time.
To summarize the experience, for me it was probably the most painful massage that I have ever had, but I knew that it was because my body was so tense from my injury. Initially, I did not feel immediate relief. I certainly felt much more loose, but the pain (sciatica) was still very painful.
Fast forward a few days later, and I suddenly woke up and felt 75% better than I have in a long time. As I write this review a few weeks later, I can honestly say that so far the results have lasted. What Maya did obviously helped me. She has a gift. Try her once and you will be hooked and feeling better. I wish she lived in Charleston SC. I will be back for sure the next time I visit. And might even fly down just to have her give me a massage. What a relief to find someone who can help with a serious injury such as mine and the treatment make such a huge impact.

Awesome Thai massage by Maya, I get massages often, this was the second time for a thai massage, often after massages I still have certain tight areas. Esp my calves, I had Maya work on me last monday, today is fri I still feel good, even after a 30 mile bike ride and sitting in a conference all day, I plan on going there again, if not twice before I go home Monday. I have written several reviews on
for massage in San Diego. And I find that I must write another because I experienced something at Little Thai Massage that rarely occurs — RESULTS that LASTED!!! Long story short… I’m a former elite gymnast who now suffers from the incredible stress I put my body through. Standing and walking are painful activities and sometimes not even possible. I receive chiropractic and massage treatments very regularly in order to be able to function, but as I said… walking & standing remain difficult challenges.
I have received massages from both Maya and Phone at Little Thai Massage and after the massage I am able to stand and walk long distances (and even went dancing for a couple hours — first time in more than 3 decades that I was able to do this!!!). So, believe me when I write this 5-​Star Review… The Little Thai Massage is uniquely positioned as my #1 priority massage salon!
Anyone who wants or needs a truly therapeutic massage will benefit by going here!
