Amazing experience with Dr. Miller. All options for the care of my son were explained with detail and each visit we were treated like people and not a number. Also, Erin in the office was very thorough and professional.

Pro: We were referred to Dr. Miller by my child’s pediatrician. She was very personable, thorough and informative. She did a detailed overview of X-​rays, answered all of our questions and gave some great options/​suggestions as alternatives to surgery. It was nice that my child was very comfortable with Dr. Miller too.
Con: The front desk/​receptionist lady (I believe her name was Erin) was so cold, condescending and unhelpful. It wasn’t even busy but she made it obvious to my family that she didn’t want to be there. I’m not sure if she was having a bad day or what her issue was, but I would expect someone manning the front desk at a pediatric surgeon’s office to be friendly and accommodating. It’s really a shame that she’s the one giving patients and families the first impression of Dr. Miller’s office.

Dr miller is great but the wait times are ridiculous. Every appt was over an hour wait. What’s the point of an appt to have such a long wait. It was every appt, all 4 times we had to see dr miller for follow up regarding my daughters broken arm. Go somewhere else unless you enjoy sitting around in a waiting room for hours to be seen.

Dr. Miller has been following my 18-​year old son for limb length discrepancies since he was an infant. In addition to being a competent doctor, one of the things I like best about her is that she is very thorough, she takes the time during our visits to go over test results and growth charts in detail, she takes whatever time is needed to make sure that we all understand what she’s doing and the basis for her advice.
She has her own practice and isn’t part of the Rady Children’s network so when she orders imaging or x-​rays she can’t just put the orders into the computer, she faxes it and the radiology department at Rady loses the fax about 50% of the time, so it’s a good idea to carry the orders with you if you can.
But she’s a great doctor, we are very satisfied with her.
