Lincoln Hotel

I don’t even know where to start my stay at the Lincoln hotel was the worst nightmare EVER!!! They have so many BEDBUGS to the point that I didn’t even want to sleep at night, I woke up one morning with two bedbugs sucking the blood out of my face! I started crying and wanted out. But I couldn’t because I just moved in and signed a six month lease so I went to management to tell him and he made some stupid excuse up. He started to say I must of brought them with me WHAT??? But what he didn’t know is that the lady next door left a note on my door when I was moving in telling me that the place was infested with bedbugs and roches. I was pissed because before I moved in I read some of the reviews that are no longer there saying the place was clean with No bugs and it also said the place was cleaned everyday. Yeah right more like once a week IF THAT. The building smells musty as hell. So to make a long story short he moved me to the third floor but there’s no escaping the bedbugs or roches it was even worse I think The building should be condemned because it’s a health hazard… I signed a six month lease which I only stayed four months and still payed for the other two months just so I wouldn’t mess up my credit. So I was finally out on October 27 2015 and on November 30 2015 I had to call George the manager and ask him where my deposit was because they have 21 days to return it to you, and do you know what he said to me? He said oh I forgot about you, I gave everyone else their deposits back but I forgot about yours. This man is something DIFFICULT and I don’t even know why they have him there, he Is so mean and angry, and I feel if you have to live In those conditions you should be treated with respect!!! I didn’t write this review to hurt anybody but I feel it’s my responsibility to inform others who are thinking about moving in this place to give them a full evaluation of the conditions. I’ve never had any spots on my skin until the Lincoln hotel my husband took pictures of my BACK and LEGS and FACE every time the bedbugs bit my skin and let me tell you it’s bad. I’m still in shock from all of this but my skin is now starting to heal. I leaned my lesson cheap rent is not a good thing always remember you get what you pay for. I always thought bedbugs were just a nursery rhyme straight up. God bless you all and have a nice day,

I have been living at the Lincoln Hotel in the Gaslamp for long enough to compose a true evaluation.
You really cannot beat the prices of these apartments. They are small, with communal bathrooms and showers, and depending on what unit you’re in, it can be very noisy due to Downtown’s crazy nightlife (but it’s downtown, what do you expect?).
The staff and neighbors are very nice and generally very quiet.
I have to greatly commend the staff for taking care of business from diligent pest control and prevention, to the almost daily general housekeeping and upkeep of community areas.
If you can handle living in a small dorm style apartment building, I highly recommend checking out this place, its been kind on my wallet.
