When I am hungry for stone hot pot with bulgogi while shopping at Zion Market, I eat it here. It’s about $ 12.00 and the amount of banchan is fair. This last time, for some reason, they put cooked egg on top, instead of raw, and were a bit shysty with the meat… that said, it was delish as always, and the bibimbap came out perfect! Notice the crack on the dolsat in the photo… not sure if that is supposed to be tossed when it looks like that?

The food is good, but… BUT they got me angry over just a bowl of rice. So my order came out and I wanted an extra bowl of rice, with the $ 2 in my hand and I asked in Korean. But then the man standing by the counter who looks like the owner says in Korean, «We are busy so I can’t give you the rice.» REALLY. Just a bowl of rice, and there wasn’t any customers in line at that time. I was like«what…» in my head. And I was like in my head, «Are you serious, you can’t even serve a bowl of rice!!!» And I was pretty stunned at the mans response and must’ve stood still for a few seconds and he then said, «Just eat the rice that is with your meal»(referring to the rice following my tonkatsu order). I can’t BELIEVE they would be as so busy enough to sell a bowl of rice to a customer, I mean seriously…

Worst hot stone octopus Bibimba ever!!! It was incredibly small portion for the large stone pot and had just a little bit of rice, a couple of pieces of tiny octopus and a little bit of vegetables on top, for almost $ 12.00 plus tax. It was not worth the money. The kid’s meal has more portion than this. I was still hungry after I finished the entire food so tried to complain and possibly for a refund? However, the employees did not speak any English, acted like I was just rumbling on about something and told me that they had the right to refuse the customers??! We live in the US. I think that they should at least be able to communicate in English so they can understand what the customers are saying?!

Bad food AND terribly rude owners/service. First the food: The cold noodles were bland… Tasted like water even when I added the sauces. Are the sauces water too? I know its ‘water cold noodles’(direct translation) but come on! Service: The middle aged Korean man and woman that take your order(presumably the owners) are the rudest servers I’ve ever dealt with. No smile. No thank you. Not a word except a sour face. My friends and I ordered three cold noodles. They didn’t give us spoons so I went back to get spoons for the three of us. I also forgot the vinegar and horseradish sauce so I start by getting those first. The owners look at me as if I were freeloading off them. Then I asked for THREE spoons, holding up three fingers. Apparently there must be another sign for three in Korean. The owner hands me one fork with a glare. I ask for two more and he gives me one more spoon with a meaner glare. His wife glares at me too. I point to my friends at the table and say we ordered food from you 5 minutes ago and asked for one more spoon. He throws the spoon onto the counter in front of me. Yup, just tosses it onto the dirty counter top. That’s just not acceptable behavior. Period. Stingy bitter Korean man: thanks to you, you’re never getting my business again and I encourage everyone to go the noodle place next to the tofu place for tastier noodles and much friendlier service for less $$!!! For $ 9+ I expect food that doesn’t taste like water and if you can’t even offer that, at least decent service.

Their Cold Noodle is actually warm and tastes like an instant dish. Their pork cutlet was full of fat layer and ended up having to dig through for the actual meat. Go for the other food court.

Great tasting food and great service. I drive to the zion market just to order the Bibimbap. Though I always ask for the egg all the way cooked. They accommodate my request. I will some day try the pork cutlet or the other stuff on the menu but currently I’m addicted to the bibimbap. ^^

Had the cold noodle here. Their bowl of cold noodle was cold but didn’t come with any crushed ice like most other places, so it was just cool and not icy cold. The flavor was also too sweet and not vinegary. They didn’t provide the mustard and vinegar to mix in ourselves.

Very ‘alright’ korean food. I typically get one of four items: Bulgogi dupbap: Really sweet yet dry. Feels like a grab at people expecting korean BBQ, and doesn’t come off well. Mul Naengmyun: Broth is super sweet, almost saccharine for something that should mostly just be beef broth. That or they really loaded their vinegar with sugar. Donkatsu: Not sure why they put the sauce on before its served, the result is kind of soggy katsu, with much less crunch to distract you from the dry meat inside. Also… dried parsley flakes on top. For some reason. Seollongtang(BEEFSOUP): This is kind of hilarious. I see a bunch of reviews of people absolutely horrified by this dish because its«so bland». Please know what you’re ordering. This dish almost universally comes out bland, with the expectation that you ADDSALT. Hence the big dish of salt and pepper at the counter. That said, they throw a bunch of green onion on top, maybe to mask the fact that the soup is not nearly as milky or thick as other seollongtangs. But really people. almost all the 1 – 2 star reviews of this place include a reference to the seollongtang. Ambiance… its a food court. Service… its… a food court.

I mean, it IS a food court restaurant… I wouldn’t come to Zion just to eat here, but still. I think it was actually pretty good. They had pictures of delicious Korean food scrolling on their TV screens and a very simple menu. We ordered cold noodles, spicy squid over rice(like bibimbap?), and cabbage and short rib soup. Cold noodles come in a giant silver bowl with crushed ice inside, so intense man. Noodles were chewy and it was pretty refreshing. The beef soup didn’t have as much able as I’d like but there were two giant beef short ribs with lots of meat so that was good. I liked the squid over rice the best because it had all the different veggies, perfectly cooked squid, and a nice kick from all those chili products. Most of the items on the menu come with side dishes of sprouts, kimchi, and radish. Our order came out pretty fast and food was pretty good overall.

For the longest time I’ve been craving Korean food/tteokbukki so I decided to get it from«Korean Food» inside of Zion market. The rice cake was pretty chewy and good and I liked it. Its probably the spiciest tteokbukki I’ve had in a while but in a good way! Rating for spicyness is 6÷10−7÷10 for a meal. A lot spicier than sriracha!

It was an adventure to order from here. I could see people walking away with trays of food that looked delicious. But their menu board did not do the food justice. I was not sure what to order so I just order whatever sounded good. I realize that I am a visual person and need pictures to order my food sometimes. Or a description of what the menu item is. This place was limited on both. My order ended up being not so bad. The beef noodle soup ended up being a milky white soup. And a little bit bland. Next time, I will try something different. Service was ok

I ordered the bibimbap, as my first taste of food from this place. I’d had to resort to microwaveable bibimbap, and was determined to get some fresh stuff! I was looking forward to enjoying it hot, in a stone bowl, as the number and photo on the menu made it appear it would be served in. However the cashier warned me it did not in fact come heated in a stone bowl at all. Desperate for some bibimbap, I accepted that and stuck to my order. It was really delicious, to be honest. However, I can’t help but believe it could have been even more tasty, had it been heated and cooled in a stone pot. Alas. I’m confused as to why the menu photo shows the stone bowl, if it doesn’t come in one. I highly suggest management covers that portion of the sign with tape, to avoid misunderstandings about the bibimbap. Or possibly start giving the option of actually serving it in the hot stone bowl?

I really wanted to like this place but it seems like they don’t want us to give them any business. I’ve been here 4 times now, yes 4. The first visit went just fine, we ordered the hamburg steak with rice and bulgogi. Price is a bit above average, good portion. Taste was alright enough for us to come back next time. The next 3 times were a total disappointment. The main problem and deal breaker for me was their lack of inventory. Every time we ordered something they always said they didn’t have it. Me: «Can I order #21 please?» Cashier: «Sorry, we don’t have it» Me: «Ok, can I try #18?» Cashier: «Sorry, we don’t have it either» Me: «How about #19?» Cashier: «We don’t have anything on that side of the menu.» O_o *Face palm* The problem is, if you don’t have it, state it! And if you’re not going to tell when I’m ready to order… then put a «not available» sign up on your menu so that I don’t have to waste my time pondering what I want on the menu. And this happened on all 3 visits on various days. They just seem to never have things available to order. I’m not sure why I kept coming back. Maybe I just kept hoping they would get it together… But thats ok, I just took my business else where. Best of luck.

Ordered the #18 bibimbap under«stone pot» menu and pointed at the picture. #18 comes out in a cold bowl — no stone pot. I politely ask for what is in the picture and they say it’s a mistake. Cashier is trying to help, but owner yells at him in Korean to charge me $ 2 more for it and says it’s my fault. I now know why I never tried that place over the past year. I paid the $ 2, told her she had no reason to yell at me/cashier for her mistake. Some places are worth eating at despite poor and irrational service and attitude. This place so surely not one of them.

This is so far one of my favorite Places to eat Korean food. I’ve been here a few times, and I always leave full and satisfied. I love the spicy pork with rice. On top of that it comes with a side of kimchi, and small cuts of spicy cucumbers. All yummy in my tummy, but I will say it is a spicy dish. I love spicy food, and it was enough to make my nose run just a little.

This is a pay-at-the-counter place in the food court of Zion Market. I came here to get my cold noodle fix quickly as I was between meetings. I ordered the spicy cold noodle which amounted to $ 9.90ish with tax. That’s reasonable for Korean spicy cold noodles since you don’t need to tip here. Seoul DBG doesn’t give you a full banchan(side dish) tray with cold noodle orders, but they do give you a little side dish of kimchi. I like my banchan so I was a bit sad to not get the other dishes. The cold noodle had an adequate amount of crushed ice in it, and very very spicy red pepper paste and was quite flavorful. It’s better than some of the other spicy cold noodle dishes I’ve tried in restaurants. Seoul DBG doesn’t skimp on the cold turnip, beef slices, and cucumber either. Some places will give you like, 2 slices of beef with your cold noodle, but I got 6 slices at Seoul DBG. If you want you quick spicy cold noodle fix without having to wait for a bill or pay tip, I would recommend coming here. The food court stops taking orders at 8:30pm because Zion closes at 9:00pm so come earlier if you want to eat and chat.

Mehh, pricey compared to the rest of the food court, and not that great in my opinion though I have have ordered the wrong things. Bibim Naenmyun: Watery, small portion size, not sure why this costs so much, $ 8! Also, quite spicy. Dukkboki: Dduk was way overcooked, I couldn’t even pick them up because it literally disintegrated D:…$ 9 wasted. They have a huge selection of food though so maybe I ordered the wrong items.
