Excellent store for all tennis products… owner is very informative & guided me through raquet selection.
Prices are very competitive to that of online stores… best thing is we can demo racquets for 3days before purchasing.

I am a beginning player and know nothing about rackets. I purchased a racket from Just Tennis through Amazon and then had trouble knowing if I had chosen the right size. I sent an email and was astounded, taken aback by the excellent customer service I received in response to my email which was lightning fast. You don’t see/​get customer service like this these days. I got the information I needed to make a decision and am extremely pleased. I believe the person who corresponded with me was the owner, Richard Marks. Thank you «Just Tennis» but your customer service is definitely not «Just» it is «Above and Beyond.»

Very good. Folks here explain you if you have any questions about the strings, rackets and are very polite.
One can get a racket or strings anywhere but if someone provides detailed technical information and guidance that is the place to go.

Very impressed with youth hired to string racquets, especially Sage who is very polite, efficient and professional. Kudos to management for supporting and selecting SR youths for summer jobs.

These guys research and know their tennis rackets and strings. If you are looking for a new racket they will give you top notch advise on a couple of different rackets to demo for free and guide you to exactly what you need with your feedback. The other half of making the right choice is the strings and what tension to string the racket at. This is where the personal attention from a knowledgeable staff in a small tennis shop will really pay off. On the contrary, going to a big box sporting store just doesn’t make sense where you can’t demo rackets and don’t know if the person in charge of many different sports in his depart really knows anything about tennis, much less the dozens of rackets they carry.
Just tennis is close to the 15 in Scripps Ranch which makes it convenient if you are anywhere in the area. Clean, well organized, able to restring your rackets quickly; I highly recommend them!

Great staff. The associates were very knowledgeable and friendly in providing service. If it’s not in the shop, they are prepared to seek it out for you. I will definitely keep coming back.

For the first time visiting the store it took me only 5 min before leaving the store and will never come back. First of all the store doesn’t have the promotion item on hand that they advertise on their website in store which is a minor issue. The biggest problem that I have is the attitude of the guy working in the store. For a classy sport such as tennis he should never be allow to work in the business. When a customer ask a question about a product you cannot tell them that they should read the description on their website with an attitude, if that was the case I would just shop on Amazon and save my 5 min of headache.

This is by far my favorite Tennis store in San Diego, I have been coming here since 2005. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Avril is one of the nicest person you’ll ever meet in your entire life! Plus they have a free demo program and great selection of tennis products and brands. Except for my Nike shoes hahaha

Great shop selling all kinds of rackets.

The staff at Just Tennis were perfect. They price matched the new racquet that I got from them with the lower price I found online. I also got to demo 3 different racquets for free for 4 days. They are more than willing to stay open a bit later if you can’t get in during their limited business hours. I will continue to go there to get my supplies and service.

Been getting my gear here for past few years. They treat me like family and are very knowledgeable.

BTW, I do not have a vendetta against this or any store. I will support any business willing to give the customer the right price for the right service. I believe businesses that show a genuine interest in the servicing the customer deserves praise and support. The fact that the owner posted two followup comments about negative comments displays that their interest is self centered and they do not care about repeat business.

The shop is very small. The first two times I went I was kind of greeted by this middle aged man who sits behind the counter that was not very nice. he just gave me a catalog and asked what I wanted. I hesitated to come back but had to get my racquet strung the following day so when i returned this younger kid that was the stringer helped me tremendously, he explained what each string difference was… the store was super busy with racquets to string so they gave me the option of paying an extra five bucks cash to jump the line, not a bad deal since i needed it pronto. i would go here just be wary of the old man…

Small little place, but with knowledgeable employee. I told them I’m a beginner, and they directed me to the last year’s model sales corner and I got a pretty good deal on a pair of perfectly fine new shoes. The store is a little messy but the people care about tennis more than the clerk at sports authority.

After not playing tennis for a few years due to right shoulder and left knee injuries, I’ve got that itch again. Having played almost 18 hours a day in crazy Ohio weather, how can I not play tennis in California?
Came here for tennis racquets demo. The place is small, but well stocked. People were extremely helpful and friendly. Tennis racquet demo is free, just need some simple and credit card info. You can up to 4 racquets for 4 days. I prefer it over bigger sporting good stores.
