JC Towing

Yes… Stupid decision for parking where he shouldn’t have… yet — car was towed to JC Towing on Mission Gorge Rd. Son and friend went to retrieve car only to be told it had to have a notorized note from the owner (a friend staying in Costa Rica who was out of touch — no cell reception) We had «permission to drive» note — but they said they needed an International notarized letter from her. Then they charged each boy $ 50 to retrieve a wallet, and a cell phone. EACH — they were not allowed to grab the other’s cell phone –they each had to give the person $ 50 dollars to get their things. My son didn’t want to pay the $ 50 for his cell phone — so we don’t know if it is there now or not. Day 5 still haven’t heard from our friend in costa rica to try to get notorized note. This place is all wrong! and something needs to be done about it. $ 350 for towing, $ 40 dollars a day for keeping it plus charges of $ 50 per kid to get their belongings. This is criminal!

Truly horrid. I had the extreme displeasure of dealing with these people after the city towed my car.
In addition to charging me $ 400 to get my car back, they dented my car and are refusing to pay for it. The women in the office rolled their eyes and laughed at me as I filled out the complaint form.
They deserve to go out of business.
