Beware this guy! The guy hires day labor, then doesn’t want to pay at the end of the day! Did it to my husband two days in a row, and threatened to «cut his throat» when he did insist that he pay him immediately. His crew is great, too bad he is such a loser. Feel bad for those guys. Filing a complaint with L and I. Good luck, I’d get somebody else!

We hired J Walsh Construction to build a MAJOR kitchen re-​model 2 years ago. We removed walls, re-​located windows and dealt with City of San Diego permits. Jon & his crew are 5 star and he will never «rip you off». The only reason I docked them a bit was due to a couple of his subs, particularly his cabinet maker, who cut some corners. Jon worked tirelessly, at his expense, to fix any problems. The entire crew is honest and respectful. I’ve recommended them to friends and neighbors and all were happy. He has recently hired a designer and she is WONDERFUL. We are using them to remodel our master bath and closet now. Again, this is not a simple remodel but I trust them to do everything beautifully!

Last year we decided to replace our old deck on our San Diego house and J Walsh Construction was recommended by a friend. We were extremely pleased with all aspects of this project – Jon’s professionalism, his attention to detail, the way he and his workers worked and «cleaned up» each day, dealing well with set-​backs with our «permit problem with the city» (he helped us tremendously through it all at no added expense!), and his over-​all job performance when the deck was done. We would never hesitate to call him again for any project we would like done and know that he would do an excellent job at a very competitive price. We recommend him highly and feel confident that he would do a professional job on any construction project. J Walsh Construction is #1 company to do business with for me. I contacted the company and had them bid on building a new patio on the back of my house and several small projects. I was very pleased with the response and the work that the company did for me. They did the work in a timely manor and the construction workers were professional and courteous. They even took time to get to know the dogs. On another occasion I called Jon and needed some ramps for my door ways as I was temporarily in a wheelchair due to tripping over my dog and breaking my ankle in several places. Jon came out that same day and made 3 ramps for me. I can’t say enough good things about Jon Walsh Construction and his employees. Call them and you will be pleased too!
