Easy to deal with, never too busy, but clearly (no pun intended) humming away with stuff. Takes them a few days to get your lenses, but once they’re in they DO do them (cut them to fit your frames and install them nicely) WHILE YOU WAIT! And if you can’t sit still that long and cant read all of the current magazines they have for you there, well, Hillcrest is an enjoyable place to walk around, do some grocery shopping at the nearby Vons, get a latte there or a few blocks west.
Vicky has been there forever (she’s proud of that and should be, what a pro!) and Aaron is, I think, the «new» guy and is really cool & genuinely nice person. Knowledgeable staff and good work makes this place a definite YES!

I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with Insight Optical for many years. I keep going back to them because they offer quality glasses and superb service. They not only fill my sports glasses prescriptions but also my regular glasses and sunglasses. So I’ve had a chance to try many of their products. I have never been displeased. I particularly like dealing with Vickie because she knows her inventory and is an expert at helping choose the best frame for your face. I’ve probably been going to Insight for close to twenty years, and I’ve never had a problem. I recommend them very highly, and I’m writing this review peering through my new glasses that I just picked up today and have loved from the moment I put them on.

I cannot say enough good things about Insight. I dropped off my prescription at around 4 on Thursday and I had my new glasses at 4 on Friday. Had I not chosen to add an anti-​reflective coating, I would’ve received my glasses on Thursday!
Customer service was excellent, too. The lady who greeted me was friendly from the outset.
Perhaps most importantly, my new glasses are perfect!

I found this place online, and it was well worth the drive from East Co. The store is very nice, lots of choices for frames– which I didn’t need… I just needed my current frames ‘fixed’– Vicky, the employee who helped me was incredibly nice, professional and efficient. & I was pleasantly surprised that she fixed my glasses for free!
Great shop– fantastic customer service.

While trying to tighten a screw on my glasses, the screw fell out and it was difficult to fix. I walked into the store today and asked if they could help me fix my glasses. Everyone was polite and within minutes they had fixed my glasses. When I asked how much will this cost, they said no charge, just think of us the next time you need glasses. Great customer service!

FIVE STARS for Javier’s customer service, knowledge and his outstanding PATIENCE!
Javier took his time, making all the adjustments on my mom’s glasses, making sure they fit her face with comfort just made her day today.
My mom & I highly recommend to see Javier if you need any prescription eye glass filled. Also the prices was very reasonable for the lenses we ordered.
