Indigo Cafe 1600

Went down to the courthouse to apply for my marriage license and had to grab a quick lunch before heading back to work. I saw a sign for a café on the 4^th floor so I decided to check it out. The guy who was processing our paperwork also recommended it… he even confided to us that after just 2 months of working here, he’s gained 10 lbs from eating at the café, haha.
Clean room with AC and nice views of the waterfront. Lots of tables and seating with a TV and SD Credit Union ATM too. I got the chicken tortilla soup… large for $ 3.99 and it was was really, really good!!! I dare say one of the best I’ve had actually. I also got a side of fried zucchini with ranch… $ 3.99 as well and came with less than the Carl’s Jr version, but was much crunchier :). My fiancé got the Mediterranean scramble, which was eggs, spinach, mushrooms, bell peppers, feta cheese and Italian sausage, with a side of wheat toast… $ 5.99 for this from what I recall. They also have great burgers from what I hear. Other items they have include salads, sandwiches, smoothies and wraps.
Prices are decent, workers are friendly and the food is great! Definitely a wonderful food option in this area.
