DONOTSTAYHERE!!! THISPLACEISSOHARDUPFORBUSINESS, IT’S SAD! We had a one night reservation, planning on spending a lovely weekend in SD. About 45 minutes before arriving, we received a call that our grandmother had passed away. I frantically called the«inn» and told them what had happened. This family emergency was completely unexpected and I asked the person in charge if there was anyway they could make the exception and cancel the room. The person in charge said«no worries, my condolences to you and your family. We will make an exception this time!» I was so thankful, but it was such a stressful time that I didn’t ask for a confirmation email. Well a week went by and when I went to check my account it had been charged. I called and spoke to the manager who then said he would investigate who I spoke with. Called back the next day and he stated that they had a strict policy and whoever told me they would refund me the room shouldn’t have. I’m sorry. then WHYTHEHELLDOYOUHAVESOMEONEWORKINGTHERETHATDOESN’T COMMUNICATEWITHYOUTHEHOTELHAPPENINGS??” I was specifically told the manager would be contacted about the situation and I NEVERWAS. The manager yelled and hung up on me after I told him that I was going to Unilocal his business… professional right? Not only did my grandmother pass away, but I was also charged in full for the room that I had been told would be refunded. THISPLACEHASTOHAVETHEWORSTCUSTOMERSERVICE I’VEEVEREXPERIENCED! DON’T WASTEYOURMONEYORYOURTIME! I WOULDN’T EVENGIVEITONESTAR!

I paid to stay for 4 night but I ended up only staying 1 nights on the first night because this place doesn’t allow pet. Also there is NOAIRCONDITION in room during hot summer day in CA. The room was so hot and humid. Outside was cooler than the room. So ridiculous. So I decided to use other pet friendly hotel for 2nd night but kept keys to use the hotel room whenever I decided to come back because I already paid the room for 4 days. SO I came back on 2nd day in mid day to my hotel room only to found the hotel owner watching TV in the living room sofa sipping cold water comfortably!!! I mean there might be no luggage but I still have the room key so why the heck this guy totally relaxing in customer’s paid hotel room??? His response was oh I was doing laundry when I opened the door. Ahhh, there’s no washing machine in the hotel room. What a lame excuse!!! DONOTUSETHISPLACE. SOUNPROFESSIONALANDHASTOPREPAYANDNOWAYTOGETREFUND. SOSTRICTONREFUNDPOLICY. DESERVE0STAR.
