Illuminating Interiors

Our sales rep, Al, has long, long experience in the business and helped us pick our improved lights for a bathroom. The problem was that he said that he would have an electrician contact us for the installation, and no one ever called. Two and a half weeks later, we reminded me, still no call after three weeks.
An angry call to the store manager got us a call from an electrician, who was expensive and did poor work, and referred us to a useless drywall/​painter, whose work had to be redone completely.

The service and pricing at Illuminating Interiors was incredible!
I was looking for a unique chandelier I had discovered online in an interior design website. They had a giant display of lights/​fixtures in the store and also had lots of additional lighting catalogs to help identify the fixture. The selection is significantly better than at the orange big box home store.
The service adviser I worked with knew a lot about lighting, and easily found the lighting fixture I was looking for based upon a verbal description and a similar style fixture displayed in-​store. In addition to this, he was able to order the chandelier for an unexpectedly great price, better than what I could find anywhere online.
Overall, communication was great, as the chandelier needed to be delivered to the store, and then picked up by the electrician before installation. Everything went flawlessly. In addition, scheduling Jimmy, the electrician they recommended, couldn’t have been easier.
Jimmy performed the installation and went out of his way to assist in upgrading a dimmer switch associated with the chandelier.

One word, GARY. He solved our lighting issues all over our house. He needed lights in every single room in our house. He is very conscientious, had us test the lights to make sure we would love what he helped us picked out. He has a wonderful sense of aesthetics, very fast, answered every email and phone call right away. He met with our contractor to make sure that all the lights would be installed perfectly. He is very detail oriented. He gets the job done. On the actual day of the install, he was available by phone for the questions that we had. Can not say enough about how thankful we are about the lights that we have in our house. We will definitely be going back to this store and GARY for any other lighting needs, and everyone else should too.

Great Lighting.
This place has hundreds, maybe thousands of fantastic lighting fixtures on hand to look at and many more in books to choose from. Some are as big as cars. Elegant To Rustic The Choice is yours. Something for any room inside or out.
Prices may be a little bit high but when you see the quality and selection of the fixtures it doesn’t seem overpriced.
The place has the feel of being at Disneyland. A great place just to walk around and look at some fantastic artistic lighting.
A great place to dream. I only wish my home was big enough to hang some of The larger beautiful fixtures displayed here.

Illuminating Interiors is a fantastic store and they have the best electrician, Jimmy. Jimmy came out to service my fan, purchased from Illuminating Interiors, a few months ago and did an outstanding job. He was prompt, professional and did an amazing job getting my fan back to perfect working order, thank you Jimmy! lovely store, with a lot of inventory. these kinds of stores make me happy! it’s very overwhelming but everyone who works there is very helpful and let you walk the store at your own pace.
there are so many styles of lights, lamps and chandeliers from big crystal traditional chandeliers all the way to modern & minimalist.
they try to be competitive with online prices/​vendors so if you find something online they will match/​beat it and also if you find something in store that is too big/​small or need a certain type of finish they are knowledgeable with their inventory and vendors and will look up options for you.
we found about 4 – 5 chandeliers we liked and will be back. we left empty handed and they said come back as many times as you like, no pressure at all.

This place is AMAZING. A friend who drove down from Beverly Hills to buy here recommended it. Ordered all the lights for my complete home remodel here and had a wonderful experience. Marlie knows her stuff… she recommended brands that kept within my budget while providing unique beautiful pieces, and she a great communicator. Their prices are great! This is a FIVE STAR location for sure.

Great selection, and Michael Law knows not only his merchandise, but also the catalogues with all the rest. I was very happy with his help and recommend others to stop by for themselves.

I love this place. First of all, they (Mike) were very helpful in choosing lighting fixtures — not just from the displays in store but from catalogs. And they are very open to working with the customer’s interior designer. And they were fantastic in ordering a new fixture after mine went kaput after a year. Ordered a new one — no questions. And even offered a loaner while it was being ordered. Love, love their customer service.

I had to order several light fixtures for a remodel in Big Bear. Everyone was so helpful and did everything they could to be sure I had everything I needed to get the job done right the first time. They ordered extra chain just so I would have enough when I got to Big Bear. The lights are beautiful and my home looks stunning. I will never order lighting fixtures from anyone else. Caitlyn was especially wonderful. I highly recommend this store to anyone looking for excellent customer service and lovely home lighting fixtures.

My wife ordered a vanity light for the master bath from them and when we got it home and unpacked it one of the lenses was broken. I called Illuminating Interiors and told them about it and they assured me that they would get us a replacement. This all occurred during the holidays when the plant in Canada had closed for the holidays. Well true to their word a replacement was sent directly to us just a few days after talking to them. That is excellent customer service. A great company to do business with.

We picked out 4 nice chandeliers, and Mike helped out with great prices and great service. He referred me to Jimmy, the electrician the store recommends for installations. (Jimmy and his crew are excellent. I’m sure that Jimmy is pickier about getting everything done exactly right than even his customers are.)

Two thumbs up for Illuminating Interiors on Miramar Road and the expert lighting advice of Gary. I needed interior and exterior lighting for a house remodel. I had been looking at different lighting stores for quite a while and had a general idea of what I liked, although I was a bit overwhelmed. Gary’s trained eye pulled it all together for me. I couldn’t have done it without him. He even designed some deck lighting that I absolutely love. The house looks awesome!

Overwhelming.
Me and the boyfriend have been on a hunt for a lamp. We’ve gone high and low from Bloomingdales to Ashley Furniture.
Walking into Illuminating Interiors was OVERWHELMING. When looking for a lamp and only a lamp, in a specific style and color it’s easy to shop through a furniture show room because you only pick out the lamps around the room… well when you walk into a room with only lamps and lights its like BAM.
There was beautiful lighting with lots of unique designs and glittery chandeliers and I would love to come back for a glittery chandelier when I have a house and not in my current situation which is a apartment. We found one lamp that was to our liking but definitely not our favorite and the price was up to $ 300 + for just the table lamp. A bit out of our price range and we can find a decent lamp for a lower price at pottery barn down the street.
Seriously there was some really cool and really pretty lighting in there but the styles and prices didn’t hit the spot for us,. Plus we never were greeted but on the way out with a nod by an older man.

I have worked with Tim several times over the years and he is GREAT! The selection of lighting is amazing and their prices are the most competitive around! I am so impressed by his personable and honest customer service. I would recommend him in a heartbeat to anyone who needs indoor or outdoor lighting of any kind!
