Headquarters For Hair

I lost alot of my hair due to a serious illness I had in ¹⁰⁄₁₂. On Jan 1, I decided that I needed to begin wearing a wig. I researched wigs online and bought a beautiful Raquel Welch wig called Always. However it was too small and once you try it on you own it. I panicked and hit up Unilocal for a wig salon in San Marcos. I called and got an appt right away with Cathy. She called it a consultation but here’s what she did for me. She washed and cut my remaining hair into a pretty cute style. She talked to me about a Murad product that will help my hair grow in. she discussed what she was going to do to try and stretch the cap on the wig I brought in. (She’ll later stle it a bit IF I can wear it). Then she walked in with my new hair. Another Raquel Welch wig in a size large cap and it fit like a glove. it was very expensive along with the product and services she had already provided, I was sure I was going home bald. Cathy works with cancer patients and is setting up her own foundation to help with the costs of thses wigs and services. She worked with me so that I could walk out the door confident. I can’t say how much I was pleased with my visit to The Headquarters Salon Spa. It’s now located in San Marcos on Twin Oaks Valley Rd. It’s a beautiful space.

I have a pacpromos so I went there once. For this first time there, I thought Dolores was really nice and I was happy with the service. Then, a few months later, I needed to trim my ends so I called and nobody EVER answered the phone. So I left a first voicemail, saying that I’d like to get an appointment and that she could call me back at my number. She did call me back but I was at school so I could not pick up. I called her back after school and again she NEVER answered the phone. I talk to the voicemail saying that I was sorry but I could not pick up at the time she called me, but I still needed my appointment so if she could call again, that would be great. She NEVER called me again !!! I was pretty pissed so I did not call back for a while, and yesterday I wanted to give her another chance so I called again and talked AGAIN to the freaking voicemail !!! Why in the world does she NEVER answer her f… ing phone??? Anyways, I stayed polite and said again that I wanted an appointment and that she could call me at my number. Guess what??? Never heard about her !!! So I’m done with her, I’ll go give my money to someone else !!!

I got a promo package thing for paying 20 bucks a month, for 5 months, I get three complimentary visits and 50 percent off anything besides products, such as dying hair and more cuts.
Apparently, if you have longer hair than your shoulder, you have to pay extra. I had to pay 25 bucks for mine. Anyways, Dolores is adorable, and her personality is so cute. J got my hair dyed from brown/​black to red today and to blend in my old «asian-​hair» phase layers into the rest of my hair. She cut some of the length of my hair, which made me really sad, but it does seem healthier. For the red: right now its a bit dark but I guess it’ll get lighter.
Four stars for the service and hospitality. This place is usually for older people.
