Hair by Michelle Scott

Michelle is a wonderful hair stylist, not only is she very good at what she does, but is also very personable. I have been going to her for about two years now and she has given me haircuts that I always get compliments on. Who doesn’t love that? Do yourself a favor and call Michelle today, you are literally in good hands with her.

First visited Michelle in October per my sisters recommendation and wanted to cut my long, curly/​wavy hair into a short pixie-​ish cut. The salon is open, clean, cozy and Michelle is amazing. She made an emotional event comfortable and easy. Even showed me several styles I could try! So grateful & happy to have found her!

My favorite hair stylist Michelle Scott makes me a happy gal! I’ve been going to Michelle for years and she has always done a wonderful job with my wild, curly hair. Over the years I’ve had so many different hair styles and Michelle has always been able to give me the exact cut I want. Super excited she’s now at Eros, only a few block from my house! :)

I remember discussing and then arguing with my friend/​co-​worker about who had the better hair stylist. We went round and around for almost 10 minutes before we realized that we were talking about the same woman. That was 16 years ago when she worked at Ralph’s in Hillcrest and I have been stalking Michelle Scott ever since.
From my super butch cut back in the day to the a-​symmetrical to the long layers and back to the short and cute, Michelle can do it all. Oh, and the colors! Brunette, red, blond… she’s done it all and I *always* get asked who does my hair.
And Salon Eros is absolutely gorgeous and clean. (I love their product line!) Parking is plentiful and the salon is surrounded by super cute shops and businesses. I’m so glad she moved here… cuz now I can go to Thorn Street Brewery for a pint before walking across the street for my hair appointment.

In my experience, one of the hardest things to find is an excellent hair stylist. This becomes even more difficult, if you happen to be someone who has non-​traditional and/​or «pain in the ass» hair. So needless to say, when I find a stylist that fits the bill I do everything possible (short of kidnapping them) to make sure they don’t go anywhere.
I have found my hair savior in Michelle! In two words… she rocks! This lady seriously knows her craft. She’s been doing hair for 22 years. Michelle understands the various types of hair and how it reacts to certain cuts, treatments, etc. She is no one trick pony – she doesn’t just cut hair, but she also dyes, highlights and styles your hair herself. I have gone to many different hair stylists over the years and they would all tell me that what I wanted couldn’t be done because of my hairline – but when I went to Michelle she was able to give me what I wanted and it looked fantastic.
Michelle is one of the few truly excellent hair stylists. In an industry where many mediocre stylists muddy the waters, Michelle stands out as a dedicated and talented professional. Whether you know what you want to do with your hair or you just want someone to help you figure it out, Michelle collaborates with her clients to ensure that they get what they want.
Seriously, go check Michelle out. You will not need to find another stylist again.

The setting of Salon Eros is lovely. High ceilings, clean lines, breezy neighborhood feel all rolled into one. Michelle is clearly a pro. She knows her business well and has a talent for making my hair look great. I love that she realizes I am a pretty mainstream kind of 50 ish woman that wants to have hair that fits my life style but doesn’t want to look like every other 50 ish woman in San Diego. Not every stylist is creative enough to pull that off. If you are looking for individual attention. Go see Michelle! The other stylist Michael is really friendly and made me feel welcome. Loads of available parking is a plus. Funky, fun area with a coffee shop on the corner.
