I came here for my birthday with my S.O. and we were the only ones in the places minus some other guys that were either regulars or worked at the place, I wasn’t sure. It was awkwardly dead although that didn’t bother me, it was a rainy Tuesday night after all. We purchased our cigars and a glass of wine and proceeded to the outside sitting area. The roof was leaking because of the rain and all of the chairs were pushed in so there was no where to sit. It was cold and there was one outside heater that was being taken up by the people previously mentioned. We proceeded to a back corner of the outside lounge area where my S.O. then stepped in a GIANT pile of dog feces which I only barely avoided. Once we notified the guy who was running the place his only response was«My dog wouldn’t do that» and a «Sorry» accompanied by a paper towel he handed to my girlfriend. She then had to spend about 15 minutes outside cleaning her boots off. Stuff happens and we didn’t make a big scene or deal of it while we were there but something more than a paper towel and«sorry» should have been offered for stepping in dog crap. We then proceeded to lukewarmly finish our cigars and left. I’m sticking with Churchill Cigar Lounge from now on. I’ve had great service there.

The old man is a dick head. Need to learn some manners. To put into context. I’ve been. Regular customer over three years. I frequent by myself, with friends, or out of town business friends visiting. I have never had any issue with any food, cigar, or alcohol I have purchased while here. Tonight I had a cigar start to fall apart at the foot after a few puffs. The wrapper started expanding and separating at the foot [pre-cursor to a cigar that is going to «canoe”]. I walked back up to counter and asked if I could exchange it for another as this was falling apart. The old man sighed and reacted in a way to suggest that was I was asking for was a problem. So I said. «You know what, you seem to have a problem, so I’ll just pay for it». Then he says«no no not a problem». I’ve been around the block a few times so I know an issue when I see an issue. Plenty of other lounged around town with owners/employees that have proper etiquette. Last time I come here. The young guy seems to be OK. But the old guy can go fu*k himself with a long one. #getaclue

Great spot!!! Cigar selection in a big humidor is excellent… I go for lunch, after work or weekends– never a bad day there! Try the Paninis!!! Very comfortable lounge, soft music, several big screens(NFL, News, etc), good wine selection, IPAs and always made to feel welcome! I’d recommend to the new and seasoned aficionados alike! Good mood customers and staff… and why wouldn’t they(we) be! If there were ever a Cheers-like spot in San Diego, this would be it for me.

I came here for my birthday and had a cigar and café americano. Everything about this place is absolutely phenomenal from the atmosphere, to the customer service, to the smells in the air, and everything in between. I’ve been to a few cigar lounges and the guy who runs this place definitely has his stuff together. I came back one afternoon just to hang out and have another americano! This place has earned my repeat business, hands down. I’d give it six stars if I could.

Excellent find! Super friendly staff! They have a amazing selection of cigars, whiskey, wine, beer, and other libations! We had a couple of Davidoffs, glass of Malbec and a modern times brew. Ample, comfortable sitting areas, TVs, good music! Fantastic time! Great R&R!!!

Wow, this place is large but well what can I say? I am at a loss for words. We popped by while the kids were at a party playing Laser Tag. We saw the«wine bar» sign so we walked over. yes it was very smoky, I know, it is a Cigar bar. I get it. Very quiet, about 8 men sitting around this very large room just quietly smoking cigars. Seemed boring and weird to me. No ambiance. The wine is a joke. They have old bottles, everything is dusty, one whole wall they have the wine stored standing up! So we definitely ignored that wall and grabbed a bottle from the horizontally stored wine. They were pricey for the wine being so old. We chose a $ 30 bottle which should have been great, had the guy open it up, after taking about 15 mins to do so. We took it back to our party and poured some. It was corked. I tried to pull the cork out and it discentegrated. The wine was vinegary. Not good. Oh well, now I know where not to pick up a bottle of OLD wine.

First time here, gotta say it’s the best chill spot I’ve been to in San Diego. The other spots are small and make you feel like you have to hurry up smoke and get out so someone else can come in. Not Habanos it’s nice with plenty of room. Staff is attentive makes you feel like your among friends. Went on a Friday night they had a comedy show, two of the comedians were great the rest suck but I didn’t care didn’t go there for the comedy show. Highly recommend this place, will def go back

I really like to come here a relax. The environment is subtle and quite. This is also a nice place to come watch a game by your self or with a buddy. Theres a lot of Tv’s to choose from. The staff here are really nice too. They all treat me really nice when I come in. They have a really nice selection of sticks too. And I’v tried a couple of the staffs recommendations and they have all been really tasty choices. So don’t be afraid to ask for one of their recommendations. The craft brews are a nice touch. I love any where that has craft brews on tap. Who doesn’t!?! Fresh Beer. MMMMmmm. Iv also had the chance to try their lunch menu. Its mainly sandwiches and their actually not too bad. I wouldn’t say this is a lunch destination, but its a place to grab a bite to eat if you hadn’t had lunch yet. Don’t look for a wow factor with the sandwich is all I’m saying. but thats not why your here, so grab a cigar and a brew for the wow factor. =) Ill be back, I always do

This is such a cool spot. Nice leather seats and games to play. There are 2 entrances– one for beer and restroom and one for beer. We shared a beer they are a little high, like $ 8 – 9, we got a big beer to share. Brought our own cigar, I assume that is allowed, they were nice to offer lighters. Will definitely return, great to start off a Saturday night.

One of my favorite places to go while in town. Sanr and Wade have nailed it. Wonderful food, a huge humidor with an awesome selection. A nice variety of wine and beer and 2 large lounges with multiple TVs. Also occasional live entertainment. A must visit in San Diego.

Really good spot for a brew and a stick. Friendly staff and a really great selection of ciagrs. The cigars are not over priced like some places. My only problem is the café… I wish they had a better food selection other than sandwiches and Costco lasagna. Any who… great for cigars, bad for food.

Highly cool little place. Very kind and knowledgeable staff. GREAT high quality beer selection(Modern Times on draft, Brother Thelonius in bottles, etc). Really chill place to hang out with arm chairs, tables, couches, wifi, chess boards, a fireplace, nautical ripe wrapped around the posts… Even if you don’t like a cigar it’s like hanging out in your cool Uncle’s beach house back deck.

My favorite place in San Diego to smoke cigars. This place is chill and the folks in here are super nice. Many cigars to chose from and they also offer food, wine, beer and great music with 10TV’s along with free WiFi. Close to downtown, mins away from the airport. Come by grab a stick or some food and experience what a great business these guys put together. Classic cigar lounge at its best…

We stopped off here on our way to the races for our friend’s bachelor party. While I personally don’t like cigars my fiancé loves them, so he was like a kid in a candy store. Everyone else bought some cigars, then we had a beer and settled into the comfy chairs outside. We all said it reminded us of an old man version of starbucks. Instead of coffee it was beer and cigars and instead of people doing homework it was older men sitting around on their laptops. Good place to grab a pint an relax before a day of adventures. 87⁄100

So I’m a aficionado in training and have a high standard for cigar shops, Habanos doesn’t disappoint. The layout is spacious, with big screens for the game, well decorated, and clean, they have a solid selection of wines, ports, and beers to enjoy with your smoke; on top of that there is an outside seating area outback to enjoy your cigar outdoors in relative silence. The humidor is well stocked with a good selection from Acids, Rocky Patels, Nat Sherman’s, and even newer brands like Black Market up to Padrons, they have a house special and the prices are within reason keeping in mind that this is Tobacco tax heavy Cali. I would be completely heedless not to mention the friendliness and professionalism of the staff which though is an expected standard in cigar lounges is well met here, rode my bike there and had lost the key to the lock and they let me stash it in the back safely. Great folks I’ll be back and hopping to make it a regular spot.
