Haagen Dazs Shop

I had a banana split here yesterday with my mom and it was really good. I would recommend it!

OVERPRICED for what you get. Go somewhere else and your money will be better spent. I ordered the banana split and there was barely any bananas. Ice Cream was already melting when the employee gave me the order. Not great quality ice cream from my first experience. Won’t be coming back.

We were here at 11am on Monday. We often go shopping at fashion valley but have never tried ice cream here so we decided to begin the first day of the week with a corn of ice cream. It was delicious but we have never received a bad and rude of service like that. At that time, it wasn’t busy, just had me and my friend. A seller, she did not smile or say hello when we came in. In the meantime we chose the flavor she seemed to feel inconvenience and fatigue, even when we finished paying, she did not say thank you and immediately looked inward, her eyes seem like do not care whether we need anything else. C’mon we eat and pay, not free why we get a service like that ???

I’ve tried every brand of ice cream available and haagen-​dazs wins hands down! This review is not about the specific location but the product itself. Haagen-​dazs is the only national brand of ice cream that doesn’t have artificial or other stabilizers like guar gum carrageenan and other weird sounding stuff. Not haagen-​dazs! And you can definitely taste the difference. Least I can. No need to go any further then your nearest supermarket or scoop shop!

Supposed to be open until 10 pm we got there before 8 and they said they were closed. Wonder what the boss will think? Got our fix st pinkberry. Yum

My daughter LOVES the vanilla shakes here. We came on Saturday Oct 10^th and the doors were locked. I called and no one answered. We went back several times and finally left around 11:45. The store never opened, no sign, no nothing. Disappointing.

My favorite thing here is the mango she every ice cream and every time I go to fashion valley mall it is a MUST to stop by.
All the employees are nice and helpful. JENNIFER is always so tentative and knows exactly what I want. Thanks again!

The ice creams are always yummy but the bad review for this Haagen Dazs branch is due to the fact that since some months the new employees do not know how to make the desserts. I have been a regular over here since 5 years now but no longer will. Since 2 months they did not have 4 – 5 regular flavors on weekends and the reason they gave was they ran out of it no matter what time one went. The mocha frappé they made for me was not even proper, had large chunks of uncrushed ice without any consideration for proportion between ice and ice cream. Got a dulce dazzler next time, it was without caramel added!!! They’ve stopped focussing on quality and just see the numbers… Message to management: please get your act together or sell it to some other franchisee owner.
Do not even deserve one star.

This Haagen Dasz location is Da Bomb Diggity! I just had the Brownies-​a-​la-​mode Sundae with Chocolate, Caramel and Whipped Cream Toppings, with a Cherry on top. It was one of the Best Ice Cream I’ve ever had! Delicious!!! :D

Worst customer service=not wanting to go back. Can’t even enjoy my ice cream without wanting to go back and curse them out. Employee asks, «what do you want?» I tell them; when I ask to change the flavor, he throws the scoop down annoyed… wtf? Girl charges me and the guy just places what I ordered in the corner without a word, is it done?. By the time I was out I didn’t even want to eat it anymore. A banana split came in a cup with little pieces of bananas for $ 7. No thanks.

This is an update because the kids here have been great. The new kids here have great customers service. I have been back more than 10 times since my Unilocal review.

Lots of dairy free and vegan options! This is a good spot to get something nice and cold to enjoy especially during the hot summer days (and hot autumn days… and hot winter days…) Haagen-​Dazz may not have 3,000 flavors to choose from but sometimes less is more. Just give me my tasty ice cream, stat!

I’m not even going to pretend that I’m ok paying that for a scoop of ice cream… but you know what? I went during free cone night so mine was FREE. I saw a sign saying Free Cone Day… and it got even better than that… it also said new Gelato flavors and I saw «Sea Salt Caramel» which I am obsessed with right now!
It was really really yummy… but now I have a big decision to make anytime I want it… do I want a $ 5 scoop of ice cream???

Haagen Dazs is pretty standard across the board, but I’m writing a review because I just had an amazing Strawberry Cheesecake scoop in a waffle cone here. Best flavor ever (and they do it much better than Ben and Jerry’s).

Dulce de Leche is my kid’s favorite and you’d be wise to stay out of her way when she’s eating it! I’m spoiling this girl with expensive foods and I don’t think I can stop! $ 4 scoops of ice cream, filet mignon and gourmet chocolates are turning her into a mini-​me/​monster, except I’m not a monster.
So…yeah…we got mad love for Haagen Dazs.

I tried the Dazzler ice cream sundae and the girl said I can choose any flavor ice cream so I got the chocolate, brownie, and cookie dough flavors. Adding fudge and whipped cream made it a little too rich for me since the chocolate flavors were already flavorful.

My favorite ice cream is Haagen-​Dazs so I walked into this store and wanted a treat. I got one of the milk shakes and was not impressed at all for the 6bucks that I paid for it. It was watery and blah. Maybe next time I will ask for it to be extra thick. Then again I could just make my own at home and save the money. They also should be selling the Green Tea ice cream… it is so yummy and trendy.

The employees are very nice and always greet you with a smile. Not to mention their ice cream is the best in the business. Sorry La Jolla, you’re falling behind!

It’s a rather new location but they sure do serve awesome Bailey Baristos! Mmmm. My husband & I used to always take advantage of ordering this whenever we were shopping at South Coast Plaza in Santa Ana. We’re so glad that they’ve expanded throughout our area. Sometimes this place gets really busy but that’s expected for a place located in the mall & regardless, the employees are always so sweet.
