Green Tree Home Care

I have talked to a lot of companies that do home care here in San Diego, and I can say that I’ve never met anyone that does it like they do. First of all, they have an 8 step process to hire someone, which I believe is super important when hiring caregivers. You don’t want to let just anyone into your house. My neighbor down the street has a care giver (NOT from Green Tree!), and after speaking with him for a few minutes, there is no way I would let this guy into my house.
I did a little research to find out how they do things differently and this is what I found out.
When they hire someone, that person goes through 3 separate interviews, a nationwide background check, license verifications, DMV records check, drug screening, reference checks, TB test, and a skills assessment. The even hire an outside agency to do the skills assessment.
Does that mean that nothing ever goes wrong? No I’m not saying that. But what I am saying is that they are willing to fix whatever might go wrong because their owner has integrity.
They also have different levels of services. Not all of my clients can afford the top level, but I’m pretty sure that most can afford their basic level. I for one would opt somewhere in between if my father ever moves to San Diego. I am very impressed with Green Tree.
I’m going to call my neighbor right now and let her know about them.
