Worst customer service! Actually we didn’t get any service at all! No one welcomed us or gave us eye contact ! There was a big Hispanic girl on the phone the whole time behind the register not acknowledging anyone she was not professional at all ! Me and my boyfriend wanted to buy a system and a bunch if accessories, had some questions, but would of loved if someone would of tried to help, after standing around for 25 min without a «I’ll be right with you «or even eye contact we walked out and decided to go to another GameStop ! Really horrible experience, I work in customer service and that was really ridiculous !!!

Gamestop, the best middle-​man shop for gamers! This location is in city heights and does not get very busy. The selection is good, and you can always reserve a game that is not at that store and might be at another location. Customer service is ok compared to other locations I have been too. They are usually staffed with just 1 or 2 employees so you pretty much won’t get any questions answered until you get to the counter. Checkout times vary, it can be quick and simple, or take longer than normal. Like I said, the 1 – 2 employee being staffed at anytime is a bit of a drawback. Overall, I find this Gamestop a descent place to get games. I would like to see the place managed a bit better so that there is customer service on the actual store floor rather than behind the counter (or at least more often if they do so). But in the end, it’s still a great place to buy/​trade games.

One star, because I can’t give a zero without warning you all about this location.
First of all, I went in for a trade in during the CoD: AW bonus trade in weekend. The clerk told me that it was already over and that it was only on Saturday. I deal with it, and trade in my stuff anyway.
So I go about my day and I get a call back from them. Apparently the transaction didn’t go through and they asked me to return before closing time to redo the transaction. So I have to make time out of my day to make up for their mistake!
So I’m there waiting for them to get their shit together and skimming through my emails on my phone when I happen to check the CoD trade in special and it just so happens that they were wrong about the offer being over. It actually wasn’t!
Anyways, it turns out my trade in DID go through and They called me back for absolutely nothing.
The manager couldn’t undo the transaction to honor their promotion and asks for my number to appear as though she cares, to give me a call after she talks to her boss and I haven’t heard jack shit since then. It’s been 2 weeks.
AVOID THIS LOCATION unless you’re just going to buy something. The customer service sucks really hard.

Small, intimate Gamestop. Go on a Monday or Tuesday because there’s a Wingstop next door and you’ll get 5 boneless wings for checking in. Don’t go on Saturday night, the geeks come out at night (including me lol), and it gets busy. Good selection of games, standard prices. If you look hard enough you can find hidden gems for just a few bucks (Starhawk, $ 8). The staff are all very knowledgeable gamers and don’t try to sell you on games too hard. And their game demos actually work! Which is great if you go there with a kid.
