I always come here for tostilocos and coming from Chula Vista, I’m really impressed. It’s nice to find a place that hooks it up all the time and to have nice people here too.

This place is a totally unconvincing drug front. Mexican produce market with barely any old wilted produce & no tortillas, I mean seriously?

I’m addicted to the smoothies here! There great. It’s located in the corner of a street and could be easily missed. they have a lot of parking available and the owner is really friendly. The prices aren’t bad at all, considering the size you get. They also sell fruit with seasoning that’s delicious! Highly recommend !

They have acai bowls and they are prettty good! Acai is more solid like ice cream rather than usual acai bowls where they make them into a sort of thick smoothie texture but still very good i would reccommend if you are a fan if acai bowl. Chamango is also super good all fruits are made very decorative super cool

Rico! Rico ! Ive been looking for a Raspado place close to my Neighborhood and finally came across this Gem! Everything is really good and flavorful. The owner is kinda of quiet and shy. but dont let him scare you. He is a really nice guy ones he gets talking. At first he is a bit shy but very polite. I will definitely be coming back.

Authentic mexican treats! This place is clean and they have a huge variety if oversized cold mexican treats! The fruit was fresh and flavors were rich. And although they didnt have the raspado i wanted(one with mango, chamoy and ice-not too sweet) the owner offered to make me one himself which was perfect in relation to how i described it to him. Great place to grab a quick fruit treat and although i didnt eat lunch this time they also have tortas, ceviche, super nachos, and camaron(shrimp) cocktail. Highly recommended.

Chamamgo is damn good(when they make it fresh). Been there before when they just pull an already made one out of the display case. I asked if I cold have a fresh one and she gave me a look like«really?». The owner… Omg what a tool. Dude thinks he’s the man cause he owns an overpriced, looks like a 3rd world country mediocre«produce» shop. Also, they don’t have prices listed anywhere. I swear I’ve gone in there and the price was $ 4.50, $ 5 and $ 5.50… For the same item. Just heard that Santana does Chamango. Gonna start going there.

I’ve been driving my sister to this place to get tostilocos for quite some time now and I’ve noticed compared to my first visit here that they’ve been really slacking on how they make their tostilocos. Today was especially the day where it wasn’t even worth spending my money. Some of the ingredients were missing in my tostilocos like the chaca chacas and peanuts and barely any pig skin was put into it. If I’m going to spend the same amount of money that I’ve been spending on these chips than I expect the same results like I purchased it the first time around. What I think is annoying is that they are starting to charge more and more for the same food. What is more annoying than that is that they give less of whatever you’re ordering from here. How can someone charge more for something they don’t even make as good as before? Does not make any sense to me.

I am in San Diego only for the day, and really wanted to find a place that sold Chamangoes. Luckily, I found this place! There was lots of parking available. I went in, the people were really nice, it was easy to make my order. It took a little time to make the Chamango, but no complaints here, when I got it, it was perfect and fresh! I’m so glad that they took the time to make it. When I get this back home, it doesn’t compare to how good they are here! I am very pleased with this place, and recommend it to anyone!

When I had moved here I was craving a diablito with lots of chamoy and chile. Ordered it with high hopes and once I received my order I was highly disappointed. 4 $ for a small not so good diablito. I have had better!

By far the worst Raspados I have ever had. It was just shaved ice that was so hard and frozen solid, with strawberry syrup on it. I was going to ask for lechera, but when I saw the drink I decided against it due to how watery and syrupy it was. How can something be watery and syrupy? I don’t know either. All I know is I took 3 sips and threw it away. What a waste of 5 dollars. My daughter had the Chamango which she said was good. But she also took a few sips, put it in the fridge until it spoiled. I think it’s safe to assume she didn’t like her drink either. Another waste of 5 dollars. I feel bad because its a mom and pop place, but I’ll never be back.

Me my husband and daughter went there today. We ordered a ham torta my daughter got ice cream and I ordered the pepinos locos. The ice cream was delicious and so was the torta. We then ordered another torta and a strawberry water. Omg the strawberry water was delicious!!! I would so go back to this place. The staff was not rude at all! They were very polite and gave us our stuff pretty fast and they were kinda busy. I would recommend this place to my friends and family. U will not be disappointed with the portions. Oh and the pepinos locos were really good also.

I will never come back here. First & Last time coming here! Don’t like the location. Parking sucks, too crowded! Got 2 chamangos, 1 escamocha with walnut ice cream on top! I wanted the pineapple fruit thing I think it was called Pina Loca but it was expensive! $ 15 for a small looking pineapple! So I opted to a Chamango! Went here because my mom has been craving for a chamango! Anywho it’s also a mini mart. You can order a torta, tostilocos, chamango, ice cream and etc. We were about to buy tortilla from here cos it looked like it was homemade but my mom and I saw a pack that was molded! That’s disgusting! Check your inventory every day and know the date you put your merchandise you! That’s moldy tortilla! The staff. They’re all young teenagers and one guy whom I’m guessing is the manager. These young girls are so unprofessional they way they talk you can hear them talk unnecessary stuff while working! Saying stuff like, «do this I don’t care blahblah» like telling someone to do something like i dont know it just sounded unprofessional and the noise level from staff of the tone of their voice was just obnoxius. Got a cup holder to hold our drinks which was pretty jacked up cos the bottom broke! Idk I was really disappointed coming here. I was excited to try that fruit thing but now I gotta look for place that sells it or better yet I can make it myself!

Besterest chamango in all of San Diego(without going all the way down to the border)! Perfect balance of mango and chamoy. Served in a large sized cup with tamarind candy at about $ 4.50. Depending on what time of the day you go, it could get very busy, but normally I’m in and out within 5 minutes. The only other thing I have tried from here is the tostilocos. Ive had better. It was ok. Its quite a big serving they give you though. They definitely are not greedy with their portions. Located on the main road(El Cajon Blvd), parking could be difficult. I’m always fortunate enough to find parking directly behind them. If you like mexican candy, tamarind and all that goodness, check out Don Chamango!

The best Bionicos you will find! Don’t miss out on this little gem. If you miss all your Mexican ‘antojitos’ you will find them here. The store just keeps getting better and better. My first visit was about a year and a half ago and let me tell you it just keeps getting better and better. We don’t live near by but every time we come to SD we have to make this one of our stops.

I was there on a Sunday and to start the girls working were rude. We ordered so many things and a Sandia loca and it took them more than 25 minutes to do. I went to ask what was going on the owner said the girls didn’t know how to do it so they had to wait for him. I said well they should have told us that when we ordered. I was talking with my sister and told her do you just wanna get your money back and one of the employees turned and was like do you want your money back, it’s like why are you listening to our conversation and even get in it. More than half an hour later we finally get it and it wasn’t even that great

For starters, the address listed was wrong. I had to call them to find the location. So I was looking for a chamango in the area and came across this place on Unilocal.Seeing the picture of the chamango made it seem as if it would be really good. Once I found the place, I proceeded to order a Chamango. What I actually got was unexpected. It was a cup of pre-made Chamango pulled from the freezer. The only thing she did to it was add mangoes. I was looking for a freshly made, blended Chamango which I could drink! I even questioned her on what I received. «This is how a Chamango is. You need to let it melt in order to drink it,» she said. I would’ve posted a picture, but it wasn’t worth snapping a shot of. Of all the chamangos I’ve had. This has to be the worst. Very disappointed.

Wow just amazing! Before my wife and I tried this place we had gone to Fruitlandia. Big mistake. Talk about overpriced and missing quality. Don chamango is fair priced and you can taste the quality in the food. Diablitos are my favorite and they make them perfect. Homemade lemon ice cream! It’s the best hands down and would recommend to anyone.
