There is lots packed in this little place. I do wish there were more exotic species on display, since it’s relatively small.

— Locale Destination — It’s in Sea World, San Diego. It’s located right front of the seating area of «Sea lion and otter stadium», behind the«Skytower», in the middle of the park. — Gluttony Expedition — It’s small but you can see lots of fresh water creatures from North America, South America, Asia, Africa and Australia — four-eyed fish and electric eels etc. — Conqueror’s Deduction — Lots of interesting creatures. I like aquariums at «Sea World». **** Disclaimer **** As an ocean lover(especially dolphin), I’m very apprehensive about the existence of aquariums/theme parks like«Sea World». When you come here, you can feel the passions and care by the trainers of animals. The exhibitions are very fun, enjoyable, and educational for the customers. Ocean and sea creature make me happy. Coming here makes me think I contribute to those«ANIMALS», not so much to «Sea World». However, «Sea World» is in business pursuing profits — taking advantage of the good will/causes(«educational», «conservation», «awareness» etc.). Because of the existence of those establishments(like aquarium), fishermen fish those creatures for profits. Their business practices aren’t always right as you saw on the movie«The Cove». Good ones for the aquarium are sold higher than the ones that aren’t in need(the unwanted ones could be killed due to it). Do you think the fishermen care about the good«causes»? Probably not — they only care about the profits. If there were no demand for sea creatures by aquarium, the suppliers would be diminished. But the aquarium IS educational and working for saving oceanic creatures nonetheless… I think there’s only a little differences between«good» and«evil». Existence of aquarium is the pure example of this. The pursue of profits cause the damages on eco system. The pursue of knowledge about the creatures bring awareness to the customers. Because of the movie«The Cove», my BFF started refusing to go to aquariums not to support«the aquarium businesses». He thinks no audience would(hopefully) diminish the existence of aquariums. I agree on it in some ways, but I can’t help thinking about the good will/causes and how much joy the aquarium could bring to me…
