Firestone Tire & Service Centers

Brought my car in at the beginning of the year because my brakes were shaking. They did a full inspection and went over everything that they found. Farzan was really helpful & totally honest about what I needed and when I needed to get it done. Since then, they have done my front & back brakes, rotors, oil changes and tires! I won’t go anywhere else!
Great service and the staff is always professional!

I am completely impressed with Firestone. I took my car in for an oil change at another place and they said that I needed front, back brakes and all rotors.
Before jumping into it, I called Firestone for a quote. I have their lifetime rotatfor my tires ion and balance package and already liked their service and atmosphere.

Their price was similar but thy suggested that I bring it in to see if I really did all of that work done.
A few hours later, I only needed back brakes, no front and no rotors. Yay! This trip saved me close to $ 400. Thanks for their honesty.
They also gave me a ride home so I would not have to wait the 4 hours for repairs.
My only negative feedback is for them to get their AC under control. The waiting area is like a freezer while the rest of the business is at normal temp. Yipes — I felt like an icicle when I left!

I took my car back there and the last few times I’ve been there, they seem to be much more fair than my first experience. I don’t get the feeling now, that they are trying to rip me off. They may have changed management, because their customer service has improved dramatically.

The girl at the service desk was nice, that’s about the only positive thing I can say. 2.5 hrs for an oil change I was told would be 1.5 hrs max (which is long enough for a 10 minute job). I get that the world does not revolve around me, but I think you guys need to rethink your strategy. Get a guy or two doing lube jobs to get your quick business in and out. I will not be going back to a place like this for an oil change when I can get better/​faster service at jiffy lube.

Went in for an oil change and a routine vehicle inspection. Farzan took good care of me. He even taught me how to change my windshield wipers. After they did the inspection, they called me to go over everything they found, and they honestly told me what I didn’t need to do today and what was urgent. It only took 4 hours for the whole process, so I was able to walk around the mall and get some lunch. I didn’t feel taken advantage of. All I experienced was straight up honesty mixed with some light hearted banter with the guys.

We were in a tight spot. Flat tire that couldn’t be fixed and needed a replacement ASAP! Cory was excellent. He was able to hook us up with just what we needed… With a joke and a smile… 10 minutes before they closed. We were so grateful!

I have had great service every time I’ve come to this location! I will say I’ve only come to them for oil changes, never any other services; that being said, it’s always a good deal and I can walk around the mall and do errands if I need to while they’re working on my car. They’re really nice guys who do a great job!

I’ve gone to other Firestone places in the past and had no issues. This is my first time here and I was between disappointed and mad. Let them do a vehicle inspection and they passed me a ridiculous quote for the recommendations. One of them was justified, another was cosmetics, and the other non-​existent.
I took then the car to my husband’s mechanic, we fixed what was needed for a less than a third of the quote.

Farzan took awesome care of me yesterday! I don’t think all these reviews represent this group at all. I have been coming for years for my oil changes/​tires and it is always a good deal and great service. Thank you for hooking me up! Happy.

If I could give it zero stars I would.
I came in for routine maintenance on my car and they ended up breaking a part and couldn’t replace the part because they didn’t have it. I had to wait until the next day for them to TRY to get the part from the dealer. and even then, they couldn’t guarantee that I would have my car the next day.
They told me the piece that broke was «rusty.» My car is 2010, how can it be rusty?! They showed me the part that broke… Where is the rust he’s talking about??? I didn’t see anything!
Then the associate had the nerve to tell me that I wouldn’t have to pay for the broken part so I «shouldn’t worry about it.» OF COURSE I AM NOT PAYING FOR IT! They were the ones who broke the part, they need to pay for it! I am sure as hell not paying for it.
When I asked the associate «How am I supposed to get home or go to work without my car?» He said «I don’t know» and refused to give me a rental car. He didn’t even offer to call a taxi for me!
I asked to speak to the manager and he refused to give me the information for the manager and he stated he was the guy in charge for the day.
I’m sure there has to be manager available on-​call if something like this happens.
I am going to make it a point to tell everyone I know not to take their cars here.

Sure, this place is convenient because you can drop off your car for maintenance while you’re watching a movie or shopping, but don’t risk it! Take it some where else!!!

I dropped my car off at 12:30, to get my alignment/​tire rotation/​oil change and was told that 2:45−3 p.m. My car would be done. I get a call while standing outside, 3:45p.m., telling me there was a problem. I go in and get shown a oil drain plug stripped out. They tell me I will have to wait till Monday for my car to get worked on. They then tell me it will take seven hours of work to remove my oil pan and replace costing me whatever bullshit parts and SEVEN HOURS of labor. They strip out my drain plug and try charging me to fix it??? It gets even better… The manager tells me the replacement part is hard to find and rare, I HAVE A1997 FORD RANGER, at this point I need to get my car as far away from this place before they destroy it. I am surrounded by other angry customers and proceed to call a tow company to get my car out in one f@@@ing piece. I then ask for all my paper work and pieces, they can do nothing but avoid me and hide away… no one is running this «lemon lot tactics» establishment. When someone finally produces my paperwork and parts I ask if my alignment/​rotation had been done, Nothing had been done. They started working on my car 15 – 20 minutes AFTER they promised me I would be finished. This has been the worst experience I have ever encountered with anything to do with service.
I have a lifetime alignment and that is the only reason I take it to firestone, they will always claim there is something else that needs work, and I decline everytime, this time they have gone beyond malicious and I will pursue compensation for this act of carelessness and absolute disregard to customer satisfaction. DO NOT GO HERE FOR ANYTHING.

Meh. Putting on your spare tires is always fun~ Not really.
This place is located in the Fashion Valley Mall parking lot. These guys are always super busy so expect long wait times. Luckily, the mall is walking distance so feel free to go window shopping or people watching while you wait. Or you can have a seat in the customer lounge, help yourself to a cup of coffee, read a magazine or recharge your phone while you wait. There’s even a small activity table for the kiddos to keep busy. The store is clean, the guys and gals are very cheery, helpful and honest. The prices are average, and the selection of tire brands are decent. Overall good experience. Thanks!

Slow, plan on leaving your car all day, even for simple work, most simple jobs take 4 hours or more. Had brakes changed and had squeeking for a year. They kept saying everything was fine. I finally asked them to change the brakes to a higher quality brake, after 1 year and they did, but still had to pay, although they gave me a discount due to my multiple visits. The squeeking stopped. They will also try to get you to pay for their other services. Go to costco for tires.

I had new batteries installed in my truck, they messed it up. It was only luck I found the support they left floating around in the engine compartment. Pure laziness, first and last visit.
This also caused a lingering problem with my ac. I later learned that a modern vehicle should never have a complete power failure. A competent shop will supply power to the vehicle while the battery is being changed. The ac had to go through a recalibration at the dealer to work after this place simply removed the batteries and without power, the computers lost all their settings. Better to just go the dealer in the first place.

We have gone to get our car serviced there twice now, both times asking for a simple oil change. The first time was fine, however the wait was an hour longer than had been expected. The second time we went in was awful. They called us mid-​service and tried to sell us $ 1500 worth of unnecessary fixes, and since that day we believe they may have done something to mess up the brakes in order to get us to return to the shop and spend more money. Ultimately this place seems to scam its customers and I would not recommend taking your car there.

Read my other review so you know the back story. I went back today for my free oil change (at 1:15, lunch break) and they tell me again it would be done at 5. I didn’t get off til 5:30, so I told them I would be in then. I walk up at 5:30 and my truck is barely up in the lift. Really? So I go sit down and wait about 20 minutes and they finally finish.
Really??? Four and a half hours to do a fucking oil change??? My 13 year old sister can do an oil change faster than that. Hell, I could do an oil change with my eyes closed faster than that. They fucking suck, end of story.
AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!! You have been warned.

Both Kevin and Ryan helped me. I went in to buy a car battery… and I know nothing about cars, much less their batteries. They were extremely helpful in picking one and installing it. Super friendly and not intimidating (I sometimes find dealing with auto repairs intimidating b/​c I have no idea what is reasonable and not reasonable).
Bonus: it’s in the Fashion Valley parking lot which means there are cafes w/​internet nearby, making car repairs much more productive and easy.

The only reason I went here was because it was walking distance from the mall. Otherwise I could have saved a lot more money going to Goodyear and only paying $ 11.99 for an oil change and free tire rotation.
I paid over $ 50 and my check engine light is on telling me to get an oil change 3 days after I just went here!

I have no idea if I really needed to replace all four of my tires. I don’t think I did, but Ryan was super nice and stayed over an hour after they closed to help me out so that I didn’t have to drive back to LA with bald tires (2 were bald– 2 seemed fine).
I got an oil change, four tires, and an alignment for $ 500, which I think is pretty good. I have no idea. If it’s not, I’ll never know. I do know that the service was friendly and fast.

These guys totally tried to take advantage of me because I am a girl. I recently had my car checked by the mechanic I usually go to and everything was good except they recommended I get new rear tires. So, I go to Firestone the next week to get tires. They tell me that I need an alignment and a 60,000 mile tune up. I explain that I purchased my car certified used only 10,000 miles ago and everything is running great. They tell me that I should get the tune up anyway. I say no thank you. They tell me I need an alignment. I told them that my car is running completely straight and my mechanic just checked it out last week. They gave me grief about it so I said to just change the tires.
I go pick up my car after they try to upsell me $ 825 more of services and there is grease everywhere. They were so pissed that I didn’t go for the upsells that they didn’t even bother to wipe up the grease that is now all over my car. DO NOT GO HERE.
