I’ve been to Mira Mesa and 4S and haven’t had the experience I’ve had at Carmel mountain. The front desk staff and friendly and welcoming. Leigh is amazing and takes her time to make sure everything is perfect. I’ll only be going to Carmel mountain location from now on!

I have been very unimpressed with European wax center. I have been getting waxed at different places once a month for the past four years, and recently thought I would try European Wax Center. The atmosphere is very corporate and cold, and the front desk ladies are scripted sales pitches. The esticians both times I have gone have been very inexperienced. What is a normal three minute treatment is a 9 minute treatment here. I felt like they were inspecting me. The ladies are very nice but for the price this place is not worth it. I recommend Brazilia or Primp in PB

I used to get waxed at the 4S location with Courtney. I followed her over to the Carmel mountain location when she moved. She does such a good job every time! She’s super friendly, easy to talk to, very knowledgable on skin care/​the products & makes the experience as enjoyable as possible! I’m so happy I found her! Never want to switch waxers!

I started going to European Wax Center in the Bay Area almost 2 years ago and really loved my wax specialist. I was really bummed that I had to find someone new when my fiancé and I relocated to San Diego.
I did my research and saw Courtney had a lot of great reviews so I booked an appointment with her online. The appointment was easy to book via their website and she had a good amount of availability.
Theres a reason Courtney has so many great reviews on Unilocal.Its because she really is fantastic! Getting a wax is never a pleasant experience but Courtney really makes it as smooth as possible. Courtney was very friendly and easy to chat with. She is very knowledgable and recommended some great products for my skin.
So glad I did my research and was able to find Courtney! Definitely will be returning to this location to see her again.

This was my first visit here and I loved it! Having a lot of skin sensitivities and issues I, of course, had some concerns about coming. Courtney walked me through each step, answered all my questions, and made sure I was comfortable. After some horrible waxing experiences in the past, I’m happy to say I will continue coming back here!!!

When my awesome waxer moved to Texas, I was heartbroken. I looked around and asked for recommendations and no one had glowing reviews. I decided to try the EWC in 4S Ranch. It was decent. I really liked Stephanie. Then they opened this one up super close to my house. I will review again in 6 months but for now, it is a solid 3. The first waxer I had changed my apt time twice. Then the wax was really tacky which made it HURT! Then they called me and said that original waxer was no longer there and can they switch me. Ugh! But overall, I am glad they did because Breanna is good.
There were a couple sensitive things the original waxer did that made me want to cry but Breanna doesn’t do those horrible things and things will be better. I am sure once they are more organized, it will be better. And personally, I think the EWC wax hurts a lot more than the soft wax my old waxer used to use. Nothing a little Tylenol won’t fix!

Can’t say enough good things about this place. I use to go to the one is 4s but this location is a lot closer to my house and I was so thankful Courtney moved over to this locations. She is so sweet and will talk with you through your whole waxing process. This place is super clean. I recommend Courtney and European Wax Center to anyone that is looking for a change.

I’ve been going to European Wax Center for 3 – 5 years now and I’d never go anywhere else to get waxed!
I’m so glad a Carmel Mtn. location opened! I have gone to the Mira Mesa location then eventually switched to 4S Ranch since it was more convenient for me to go right after work. There I had Courtney wax me then I followed her here to the Carmel Mtn. location!
Courtney is AHHHH-​MAAAA-​ZAAANG! She’s super kind and gives me a clean wax everytime! She is has great knowledge & answers all of my questions regarding which products to use to help me with my ingrowns etc. She’s also super professional!
Courtney as well as the entire staff at the Carmel Mtn. location are so well educated in the products they have and have great prices and packages to help us save money hunny! ;)
I definitely recommend this location!

Courtney at European Wax Center is AMAZING!!! I’ve been going to her for over a year now and followed her from the 4S Ranch location to this new location. I’m so glad EWC opened this location because it’s much closer to my house and it’s conveniently located on Carmel Mtn. Rd.
Courtney does a great job with my brows. I used to go to nail salons to get quick, cheap waxes. When I found Courtney at EWC, it changed everything! She taught me how to care for my brows and how to make them look like I just walked out of the salon every day.
I highly recommend Courtney and European Wax Center. I’ve never had a bad experience with a single employee there!
